One of the most original screenplays I've ever come across. Aside from that, the lead, David Dastmalchian, captures the essence, mannerisms, and speaking style of a 1970s talk show host to perfection. A very gifted actor. He strikes me as the American version of Christopher Lee. The cinematography, the color tones, as well as the format of the film perfectly mimics a 1970s late night talk show. TV from the 1970’s had a specific visual quality and color palette. The production design of Late Night with the Devil appears to nail that look! 70’s horror is the scariest IMHO with the white noise, analog artifacts & sound effects and sometimes overexposed qualities of the film. I went to see this in London two days ago and I can honestly say it's a sensational piece of horror. Dastmalchian is exceptional as always and it's a joy to see him finally bag a lead role. It honestly stays with you long after you're done.
Regardless if this movie is going to be good or bad, I kind of want a cut of the film that takes out all the BTS footage and is strictly all from the TV show camera perspective. And I got a feeling im not the only one who feels that way.
Agreed. I was expecting only TV viewer POV. I feel as if leaving the BHS out of it would add to the mystery of how and why they had those guests on the show.
This was the best horror movie I've ever seen.. the deep story, the scares having my cowering in my seat... I wanna watch it again, but I'm also too scared to... Kudos to the team behind this!
David was immediately recognized since his role as a schizophrenic patient from the Dark Knight. Great to see him finally get the recognition he deserves! As an underdog, I've always been rootin' for you brotha!
This is easily one of my top favorite horror movies of the past few years. Had my attention from start to finish. Wish they had done some kind of documentary style follow up that echoed the opening. An idea of what the TV audience's reaction was to what they saw would have offered some nice closure. But also who cares what I think? Not my wife. Great movie. Will watch again.
This movie was totally worth the watch. If you haven't seen it and are a lover of horror films, then please do yourself a favor and watch it. You're in for a treat. It was VERY well done, and the 70's aesthetic added that extra touch. Dastamalchian played his role well.

If anyone is seeing this trailer and has not seen this movie yet then you really should!!! I thought it was extremely entertaining to watch
I’ve been waiting for so long for this to finally come out!
It's crap

@@akavhille4036 where?? I've watched it, have you?
@@sandrojosefontanini7811 no, you just keep responding to posts so I responded to one lol
@@akavhille4036 I'm raising awareness about a shit movie. I'm doing people a favour
Dc and Marvel had this guy a little spotlight and now he’s the star! I’ve been waiting a long time for this
He played the psychopath in BatMan: The Dark Knight
He played the thief in AntMan: The Edgar Wright
It's the thing that comes for your kids when your not paying attention guy!! I'm like F where have i seen this guy??? He's got one of those rare abilities to deliver lines with only facial expressions. Can't wait to see this movie!!!!
Ah, I’m so glad David is starring in this. He deserves the spotlight, great actor with the look that draws in anyone’s attention. Can’t wait 👏🏼👏🏼
I just saw this. I highly recommend it! 🍻
YOU KNOW IF DASTAMALCHIAN DOES A FILM WITH NOLAN, AS LEADING ROLE, HE'D GET AN OSCAR.
bro i cant wait two weeks for this- i need it NOW
Trailer is giving ‘VHS’ franchise vibes. And that’s always a good thing. Can’t wait to watch this.
I went to see this in London two days ago and I can honestly say it's a sensational piece of horror. Dastmalchian is exceptional as always and it's a joy to see him finally bag a lead role. It honestly stays with you long after you're done.
It will definitely stay with me for how crap it was
Regardless if this movie is going to be good or bad, I kind of want a cut of the film that takes out all the BTS footage and is strictly all from the TV show camera perspective.
Looks like comments were paid for 😂😂😂😂
what do you mean paid for?

Congrats David on your first lead role bro, it's been a long time comin. 🤙
This film is so unique, if you have the chance to watch it please do so! It is very original and very refreshing 👍🏻👍🏻
David was immediately recognized since his role as a schizophrenic patient from the Dark Knight. Great to see him finally get the recognition he deserves! As an underdog, I've always been rootin' for you brotha!
He’s been in movies long before the Dark Knight
Shudder movies can be hit or miss. This one looks brilliant.
It's not
@@sandrojosefontanini7811 Agreed. It was pretty bad.
I saw this film today and believe me when I say it will leave you shocked, terrified and simply wanting more.
It was crap
First The Holdovers & now this. 60s/70s/80s style filmmaking are gracing our screens ever so beautifully. Now THIS, is what cinema is all about.
If you're wondering, yeah, watch it
Definitely. Was better then I expected it to be!
I love how meta this film is. Finally an entertaining story about Hollywoods bs.
This looks amazing. We’re gonna be in the audience too.
David Dastmalchian is a superb actor. Finally getting a role his talent so richly deserves.
This is an instant watch! 👌

I've always wanted to see David Dastmalchian get bigger roles so it was a treat watching him in this. It helps that it was a good movie as well.
Just saw this movie today and was pleasantly surprised how good it was! Did NOT disappoint and could see why the high ratings =)
Watched it tonight and it was actually super good
this is one hell of a great trailer the subtle forshadowing of the final reveal is excellent.
I want more films like this it was so gold had me hooked definitely one of my favorites 2024 horror movies 9/10
This actually looks very interesting and a fresh take on a familiar genre. Im pretty intrigued by this. I hope its good 🤞
I’m so excited. I remember him in The Dark Knight he was incredible now he has a lead role.
I met this dude the other day I didn’t know he was a freaking movie star. Wow, that’s crazy. Small world
Do yourself a favour and watch his movies, he's highly underrated.
@@JustinMcVicar thanks I most definitely will
_cool. Where at? Was he nice?_
@@TheBlairWenchProject in NYC but I didn’t get a chance to meet him he was kind of in and out.

I remember that host guy! He played the crazy cop impersonator in The Dark Knight, when the joker and his gang dress up as cops and then attacked.
Wasn't he also in Gotham on Fox?
WTF! how did this go unnoticed... best thing I've seen in ages!!! hilarious, with a nice build up to the gore. The demon girl is a scream!
Saw this last night and immediately wanted to watch again. Very original. David did a fantastic job.
Same here
It was horrendous
I’m so glad so many people love Dastmalchian!! He is a very talented individual. I thoroughly enjoy everything he is in.
These comments are very... I'm glad to see this man finally getting a major role... this character was made for him 👏🏻
Excited for this!
This movie was totally worth the watch. If you haven't seen it and are a lover of horror films, then please do yourself a favor and watch it. You're in for a treat. It was VERY well done, and the 70's aesthetic added that extra touch. Dastamalchian played his role well.
💯 agreed, loved it
Great Actor David Dastmalchian is the only ONE convincing ENOUGH to match wits with the DEVIL.Excited to see this movie 😳😮👍‼️
David has made relatively small parts in movies but we can't deny how big his screen presence and how memorable he is, I'm happy to see him lead
Just thought exactly this. Somethin about him makes me want to see more of him
He's always good
Thrilled to see this as well for him! He’s the best
Dude why did you copy/pasted my comment? Wtf
Right, he was great in suicide squad, ant man, Oppenheimer, dark knight, dune etc
