Keep in mind that, as far as I've tested, this only works with this car, likely because it's the only car that can do a standing burnout. With the recent tuning updates, it's possible that this will be patched soon, so make sure to try it!

The Mazda Cosmo, also known as the Shogun Galaxy ingame, is a 4-speed rear wheel drive car that most people skip over. This sleeper doesn’t have much to offer until you realize the single thing that makes it stand out from all the others. Using an easy glitch that takes five seconds to do, you can turn your unassuming Cosmo into the showiest drift car in the game.
To do the glitch, first get into your car. After getting into the driver’s seat, hold the handbrake, shift into first gear, and do a burnout until you max out the car’s RPM. When the car is in the middle of the burnout, jump out of the car and get right back into the driver’s seat. Once you get in, disengage the parking brake and shift into gear. By doing these steps, you break the car and turn it into a drift car.
Though the car is hard to control and requires precise steering and throttle control, the car will be able to do drifts and burnouts that you may have never thought possible. Using tuning, you can change how the car reacts to how you steer. Keep in mind that the car will fly if you hit a rock or a ramp. (One of the unintended side effects of the car is low-gravity, which will make your car seem weightless.) Have fun and enjoy this Easter Egg in MRT while it remains unpatched!

this glitch keeps happening to my quattro when im in a race dawg what the hell 😭
I'm pretty sure that's a different glitch. It's the infinite wheelspin glitch, and it'll show your engine as off. It causes your car to essentially have no grip, but it's entirely unrelated to the video at hand.
