Zulu is one of my top 3 palettes in my collection, I kinda wish they would come out with a Zulu 2.. With matte grass green, cool toned hot pink, some lighter frosty shadows for the inner corner, a metallic bright yellow and maybe a bright metallic orange too. That would make me soooo happy.
I'm obsessed with this for a number of reasons. First of all, you went all in and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the work put into this. Any questions that I didn't even know I needed to ask were answered. Second of all, the music in the background is at a perfect volume and one of my biggest pet peeves is ear shattering BG music when trying to listen to someone speak. Third of all, there is no distracting background visuals... Most people don't care about those things, but I have Hella sensory issues and tend to get distracted very easily by certain things, so thank you so much for that. Fourth, you covered a broad spectrum of sizes, prices, and brands, AND you converted the UK-US prices which is always amazing. Fifth, you have my exact skin tone. I'm not a red head, but he have the same undertones and it's like looking into a mirror and that's always helpful, especially when you have every single color on your eyes in this, and that works as a great added reference for someone like me. I'm so glad I found this video, and you just earned a sub, pretty lady! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for posting such an honest review. As one with a deeper skin tone, sheer shades are not an option. So, it is good to know what level of pigmentation to expect.
I just fell in love with Violet Voss recently!! I wear the berry burst alot and get so many compliments! Now I must have the sugar Crystal and certifye as well!
She has the original singles bundle and would have to re-buy to see if they changed the formula-- she wasnt a huge fan of the bundle either. Thats probably why she forgot it or could have just made the decision to not buy it.
Yes I have the shades already as singles. I totally forgot to include them since they’re available as a palette now. I honestly have been liking them as singles when I use them with other shades but I feel like when you pair them together I have trouble blending so I don’t know if I would recommend the palette.

Man if I had any of these palettes back when I was in high school omg!!! I had to search high and low for anything fun and bright, especially makeup!! I found some, thank goodness for Ben Nye, and Jane Cosmetics and stuff like that!!! Now you find this stuff everywhere! Lol

Amy, I'm no expert but I do know that sometimes glitter-like particles are added to a formula in order to "loosen" it up if it is otherwise too dense and hard to pick up. It doesn't seem like it'd work, in theory and I wouldn't know from practice but... I believe this is the logic.
Yes I can see that certain shades have just a touch of sheen in the pan and blend easier but some of the shades in Nyx have true glitter particles that show up

Great video! I really like the Hasina palette because it has mattes and shimmers and if it had a shimmer yellow instead of that brown, I'd buy it because that's the rainbow palette that speaks to me the most

Wow! You have so many rainbow palettes. I thought I had a lot til I watched this but I only have maybe 50% of these! The only one of these that I don't have but really want is the VV Sugar Crystals palette. Such a great video! So detailed & helpful 💛💜❤️💚💙
I got the Tarte rainbow mini in part because it benefits the Trevor Project but the pigmentation was kinda meh and it doesn’t have a real green, and neither does Violet Voss rainbow. Honestly I say hell with it and use Sugarpill’s Midori single.

I'm going to buy a few of these eventually for sure. Since you liked that Revolution palette I think you will enjoy the Foil Frenzy one too. Most of the shades are foil like except of the 2 pinks and maybe one or two of the light colors.
I’ve been meaning to get a palette like the Tropic Wonders or one of the more rainbowy Juvia’s palettes. I think I’ll probably lean towards Juvia’s since I really enjoy their formula. And that Bombshell Cosmetica pricing always drives me crazy!! Just price it correctly instead of always having “sales”!!!! I really love their shimmer formulas though.

The beauty bay matte 42 color brights palette is an amazing rainbow addition to all of my other colorful palettes. And super cheap! The sugar crystals has become my favorite palette though, it’s become my everyday palette to use.
Darn, the E.L.F. X J.Kissa To The Rescue eyeshadow palette released a lil too late to make the cut. Would love to know your takes on that palette and how it stacks up against the rest. But i still love and use the crap out of them😁🌈 I only own those and the Morphe 35b one. Cause im not absolutely in love with rainbow palettes, but when they are done well i love them!

Gay is also a word for happy. We don’t use it anymore but it was very popular years ago some countries still use it. Not saying that’s how the brand was using it but it’s possible I don’t like it being a shade name either

🌈 yay! So excited for this (and somehow I missed your original mention of it so didn’t even know it was coming!)🌈 And while I certainly have colorful palettes, now that I think of it I don’t actually think I have any true “rainbow palettes” so perhaps you’ll convince me I “need” one😂...I mean maybe sort of KVD Metal Matte could be considered one, but not really. Oh & not sure if you’ll remember it but I do still have the OG Wet n Wild 8pan matte rainbow palette, though at this point probably more for nostalgia sake than anything else as it’s definitely seen better days. And then of course WnW is no longer CF😡. I’m all for using products up regardless - they’ve already been purchased - but it’s truly no something I’m using anymore, so I do just need to trash it. Now back to the video... PS the rainbow eye look looks fab👍🏻👍🏻

I notice so many of these are matte heavy and although I really love my colorful mattes, I am feeling there is a lack of shimmer/shiney/metalic based colorful palettes. Could you make a video ranking your favorite shimmer heavy colorful palettes? Your opinion is so helpful 😄
Watching this waaaaaay late, but I just kinda replaced my BH Cosmetics Take me Back to Brazil palette with BH Cosmetics Trendy in Tokyo palette and it's amazing! It doesn't have as many shades but it's seriously much more enjoyable and worth it than Brazil palette. I also really wanted to like the Brazil one and was so excited about buying it, but it disappointed me every time I tried to use it... anyway you should check out their new Trendy in Tokyo palette from their travel series!

MY RAINBOW DREAMS!! 😍😍😍 Sugar Crystals and Rainbow are beautiful I has mixed feelings about Pinky Rose palette, I want it so bad but sometimes I'm like ehhh I don't need it Certifye palette OMG I need it Hasina looks stunning! Ace Beaute is so pretty I liked the palette from Boxy Charm The Slush looks wonderful Take Me Back To Brazil is my STAPLE palette I love it so much Moira palette looks awesome!
BH’s Aurora Lights is another rainbow palette ... I think Galaxy Chic qualifies as one too - but they’re both all baked shadows. Midas has at least one great one - Love Is Love. Is Too Faced’s Life is A Festival considered one? I feel that it is, but more on the pastel side. Jawbreaker has become my go to. I reach for that at least twice a week. I feel like I’m missing one, but maybe I’m just thinking of ColourPop’s She’s A Rainbow, which hadn’t been released when you did this video (same with Jawbreaker, but I mentioned it anyway). Great video!

I have the Beautybay EYN Bright palette. It is also a very big rainbow palette and I think for 25 Euros it is good price for value. I think the quality isn't the best in the world but you can work with it! I want the Zulu palette sooo bad! 😍

Wow! You have so many rainbow palettes. I thought I had a lot til I watched this but I only have maybe 50% of these! The only one of these that I don't have but really want is the VV Sugar Crystals palette. Such a great video! So detailed & helpful 💛💜❤️💚💙

I got the Tarte rainbow mini in part because it benefits the Trevor Project but the pigmentation was kinda meh and it doesn’t have a real green, and neither does Violet Voss rainbow. Honestly I say hell with it and use Sugarpill’s Midori single.

I'm going to buy a few of these eventually for sure. Since you liked that Revolution palette I think you will enjoy the Foil Frenzy one too. Most of the shades are foil like except of the 2 pinks and maybe one or two of the light colors.
Oh yes I’ve seen that it looks pretty! Maybe when my low buy is done I’ll make a MUR order and try some of their newer releases 😊
I’ve been meaning to get a palette like the Tropic Wonders or one of the more rainbowy Juvia’s palettes. I think I’ll probably lean towards Juvia’s since I really enjoy their formula.
And that Bombshell Cosmetica pricing always drives me crazy!! Just price it correctly instead of always having “sales”!!!! I really love their shimmer formulas though.

The beauty bay matte 42 color brights palette is an amazing rainbow addition to all of my other colorful palettes. And super cheap! The sugar crystals has become my favorite palette though, it’s become my everyday palette to use.
I will have to try that one!

🌈 yay! So excited for this (and somehow I missed your original mention of it so didn’t even know it was coming!)🌈
And while I certainly have colorful palettes, now that I think of it I don’t actually think I have any true “rainbow palettes” so perhaps you’ll convince me I “need” one😂...I mean maybe sort of KVD Metal Matte could be considered one, but not really. Oh & not sure if you’ll remember it but I do still have the OG Wet n Wild 8pan matte rainbow palette, though at this point probably more for nostalgia sake than anything else as it’s definitely seen better days. And then of course WnW is no longer CF😡. I’m all for using products up regardless - they’ve already been purchased - but it’s truly no something I’m using anymore, so I do just need to trash it.

Watching this waaaaaay late, but I just kinda replaced my BH Cosmetics Take me Back to Brazil palette with BH Cosmetics Trendy in Tokyo palette and it's amazing! It doesn't have as many shades but it's seriously much more enjoyable and worth it than Brazil palette. I also really wanted to like the Brazil one and was so excited about buying it, but it disappointed me every time I tried to use it... anyway you should check out their new Trendy in Tokyo palette from their travel series!

BH’s Aurora Lights is another rainbow palette ... I think Galaxy Chic qualifies as one too - but they’re both all baked shadows. Midas has at least one great one - Love Is Love. Is Too Faced’s Life is A Festival considered one? I feel that it is, but more on the pastel side. Jawbreaker has become my go to. I reach for that at least twice a week. I feel like I’m missing one, but maybe I’m just thinking of ColourPop’s She’s A Rainbow, which hadn’t been released when you did this video (same with Jawbreaker, but I mentioned it anyway). Great video!

I have the Beautybay EYN Bright palette. It is also a very big rainbow palette and I think for 25 Euros it is good price for value. I think the quality isn't the best in the world but you can work with it! I want the Zulu palette sooo bad! 😍
