I love to hear Mrs BG's comments when she does a show video. She knows a bit about cars and other parts of our hobby. I also like that you build other things than cars, I believe doing that helps to keep an open attitude in modeling.
That double green combo to get the shade you're after is looking slick
Great progress on the pickup build!! Looking forward to the final paint selections for ur Riddler build!
Bryan, your theory is correct. The convertible all but disappeared after 75. So from 75-82 there weren't any convertibles so sunroof, moonroofs, and T-tops became very popular, especially with customs. The convertible came back in 1982 with the Chrysler LeBaron and soon after the 83 Mustang.
Great progress on the builds! You are probably correct on you assumption about sunroofs in the 70s. Thanks for sharing.
Well she's looking awesome
Nice shop card collection and we also send our condolences out to John and his family.🙏. Pretty clever fix for the interior bucket and good job on filling in the sunroof. They sure were popular in the seventies and were great when you wanted to crank up the Captain and Tenille in your FM convertor!🤣. Riddle me this Bryan, “What’s the greatest name for a villain’s car?” Now all that you have to do is get the Riddler kit from Moebius! Hope that you and Linda also have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Great shoutouts , great updates great everything!! 😃.
Cool stuff and cool colors
Nice shoutouts. Good update on the two models on your bench. I’ve got to get some on that Green Stuff World putty. I occasionally have a gap that needs to be filled in. Thanks for sharing.
I still remember cutting the roof of my 80 SR5 Toyota 4x4 roof to install the sunroof. The glass would get condensation in the winter and drip on us. Good times🙄
I am enjoying catching up and seeing how these projects move along. :)
thanks for the very interesting update Bryan … I will be trying those Tamiya greens for an upcoming build for sure
Great shout outs Bryan hard to chose with them greens they all look good👍👍
Thanks for the awesome shout-out. Pickup is coming along. really nice. Lookin great
Excellent progress, looking good nice selection of colours on the spoons all the best to you both
Nice shout outs. Lots of sanding on the cab. Love the Questionmarke!!!! Nice color choices. Happy Thanks giving to you and Mrs. BG as well. I'll be watching
Thanks Michael, hope you had a good thanksgiving as well! So much going on these days, I am itching to get back to the bench and finish that Questionarke!
Great update, the truck is coming along nicely and I really dig the Question Marquis!
Awesome shout-outs. Great guys. And Great update!! Nice work on the truck roof. And the question markuis will be awesome in the color scheme with question marks. Look forward to seeing that.
I’ve installed many sunroofs in the 70s and 80s. You are right about convertibles but having a sunroof was a trend. Now a car is greatly devalued if it has a hole in the roof!
Good point!! I feel the same way, here in Arizona, a sunroof is wasted for most of the year!
Great channel mentions. I really liked the in depth discussion of the Filler primer and the filler you used and why. I love the name of the Riddlers car. see ya next time!
Truck is coming along really nice,
💚 Love the Tamiya Candy Lime Green!!!!!!!!!!!!! 💚
It's a "sweet" color!! 😁
Nice shout outs, glad the cards made it Bryan, I absolutely hate doing body work, yours is coming along nicely, like that Green!!, 😎👍
Thank's for the shout out, Bryan! The Chevy pickup is coming along nicely! Might Madam BG be coming to NNL West in January? Be cool if she did.
Looks like you have some heavy duty sanding going on there. That shade of green looks cool, can't wait the see the Question Marquis.
Thanks Tommy! Yep, I had to vacuum the desk at least once during all that sanding! 😁Hope I didn't lose any parts!!!
Projects are looking good, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for checking out the video!! 😁
Everything is looking awesome BG.
Great update love ramblers new shop cards. Love all the greens
Thanks Matt!! I finally settled on just one shade of green. 😁
Great shoutouts, truck's coming along nicely, Question Mark...EE, brilliant!! 🤣 Mrs BG does a great job, brother 😊✌️
She's the best!!
Hi Bryan! Looks like you are making progress on those 2 builds. I do wonder what grit paper you're using on the truck body, 80 or 120? 😁 Those are some terrifying scratches you are getting there. I presume most are to give tooth for the putty. I do remember Frank Gorshin's mask. That color would be a nice nod to 1966. He was an amazing impressionist, but probably before your time. Anyway, Happy Turkey Day to you and Mrs. BG. Make sure you gobble til you wobble! 😆
Looking good BG you got this looks like the only problem you have is time , I will be sure to watch for the next update here's you some help 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
Awesome Buddy!! Great update!! Can't wait for the Ridler ? Markee, that is so cool 😎
Nice shout outs, always have to enjoy doing body work right!
LOL! I hate doing body work in 1/25th scale, couldn't imagine doing it on 1:1 scale cars.
Great update Bryan 👍 I need to try that Tamiya liquid primer stuff (i done forgot what its called lol 😆) All i have is Tamiya putty. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. It's like the saying goes, "sometime maybe good, or sometime maybe s___"(beep) 😂👍😎
That Tamiya primer is wonderful at filling in scratches and nicks! 😀
Nice round of shoutouts👍💥good luck on the projects 🫡
Great update, Bryan. But Question Marquis.....shouldn't that be a Mercury? O.K. I'll go to my room now....
😁
The odd thing about "moon roofs" even our new van has one, my truck has one, and it seems we only ever open them going through the car wash so the kiddos can look up, but our A/Cs work much better than the 70s, and living here in AZ, no need to roast my head, so I do not even open the sun screen. Also, dig the name Question Marquis
I wonder if that Acrylic putty dries hard. Vallejo has similar Acrylic putty and it doesn't dry hard enough. It's good for sculpting. CA glue and microballoons or maybe baking soda will not shrink at all. I actually dries harder than the plastic. It is my go-to filler for bigger areas. That Tamiya stuff is perfect for those micro scratches. What is your plan for those roof streaks?
Happy Thanksgiving !!
Nice putty work, I like sunroofs tho😊
Hi David! Lol, I do too. This build just didn't seem like it was needed. 😁
Was that a new email notice in the middle of your video????? 😅 I like how that truck is coming along - it’s gonna look sweet.
Lol, it was my glucose sensor getting annoyed at me. 😁
Good stuff brother!!
👍👍
