Last week I finally caught my first ever tuna! You made me dream big and it came true! A 30+kg fish landbased on 50 pound braid and 100 pound leader on an 2015 saltiga 5000 and saltiga rod. Still can't believe it!

We wanted to but the current was very strong and a lot sharks around. Water was a bit murky and full cloud cover so we decided not to risk it 👍🏽

And also maybe how to read a beach i know I had trouble finding holes and gutters when I started beach/surf fishing.

We don't have GT in the Caribbean but we have Eagle Rays and those are brutally powerful. Even with 65 lbs braid on, they still destroy you!!
