- Headed down to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to watch my fiance graduate from Basic Training. Had a wonderful time with him for family day and graduation. Only focused on Delta Company, 1st Platoon Warl

It’s not just where men become soldiers…there are many women becoming soldiers too.
I was at Ft Leonard in 72 they pushed us through so we graduated a week early. Some went home on leave or like myself went straight to A I T. we didn’t have a ceremony just told us to go. 🙁 Thanks for your service

It's a grim thought, but it's worth sharing. The trainees in ACU's who stand at parade rest in the aisle are either holdovers (those who got recycled) or those who are still graduating but not marching across the stage due to getting in trouble.

Soup sandwich, the current boots; while extremely more comfortable, do not allow the turns the old boots allowed
Why does this base have indoor graduation instead of outside so they can run through the smoke?
