I would definitely recommend the Navi. I bought one a year ago and ride it to work ( 16 miles round trip ) every time I can. I have almost 1,500 miles on it and it still runs perfect. I have noticed that around 600 miles the Navi seemed to perform better. I love having the CVT because it makes some of that stop and go traffic much better. I haven't done any performance mods just some cosmetic upgrades like LED headlight conversion, swamped turn signals and added a small windscreen. The Navi is just a fun little bike to ride.
Excellent video, great personality. I am 68 years old now have owned five or six motorcycles in my life. My favorite was a 1973 Honda CB 750 four. It was semi- chopped, with 15” raised handlebars, King Queen seat. Really nice I loved that bike. But the Navi I would not mind to use for me and my wife. Not to far to the beach from where we live. Minimum speed limit on the highway is 40, so if I want to cruise at 45 mph with my wife as a passenger I will, and just ignore those who want to go 55 or over. I will stay in the right lane and mellow out. Loved your video, convinced me to buy one!! Thanks!!
@@jonneet2126 I bought one last month. I would say I feel comfortable to cruise it at 40mph, but not higher. Never took a passage with me so I can't tell for 2 people on it.
Have had mine for about 3 1/2 months and I love it so much. So easy to work on and just quick enough for my work commute. Can't beat $6 for a weeks worth of commute(78 miles)!
I bought a Navi a couple weeks ago and finally broke 100 miles. Things that I have learned. 1) The brakes might be drums but they stop me quicker than the V-Star 650 but take substantially more distance than the V-Strom 650. 2) Acceleration is great to a point and then it inches ever so glacially towards 45 miles-per-hour. It can be harrowing to have someone who feels speed limits are optional speed up and ride me like he just took me to dinner and a movie. 3) The stock tires never get better. 4) The fuel tank is tiny and when that gauge nears empty, refill it asap. My best fuel economy was 80.2 miles to the gallon, nowhere near the claimed 110, but I also need have the throttle maxed out most of my trip since I live outside of city limits. I am going to invest in a 1-pint fuel canister for those 'I screwed up' emergencies. 5) The cargo pod will fits a decent amount of stuff inside it. I've gotten two 2-liter bottles of soda and a couple small things on one trip, several pounds of strawberries on another trip, and so-on. 6) People mistake the Navi for a Grom constantly... except Grom owners. They know better and are not so easily fooled. 7) Changing the color of the bike is less than $80 USD for all new plastics and rear bar. Replacement parts are currently super cheap. 8) If choosing to do the LED light conversion, use the add-a-fuse technique instead of splicing into the wiring harness. That way it can be undone if needed for potential warranty work. 9) The 600 mile service cannot come soon enough. I have a list of upgrades I want to do but not before it gets its first checkup at the dealership. 10) I wish I lived in your location where the dealership does not add in a ton of excessive fees. In Washington State, the fees added another $1000 to the price and that was the cheapest quote within 75 miles of my house.
Hi! 70 year old WV dude here. You did a good video and really appreciate your honesty. I’m thinking serious about one of these. I do like that front windscreen. I hope you’ll do more videos as your mileage increases.
I was stuck between the navi, grom, or kawasaki z125 pro. I went with the z125 for my first motorcycle. Been having a blast so far but im sure the Navi is just as fun.
I used to have an eton 150cc back in 2009 and it got about 80ish mpg at 55mph and put about 18000 miles on it before trading it in. One winter evening at work I made the mistake of washing it and left work that night at 2am and it was 25f outside, I didn't realize there was water in my throttle cable and it froze wide open on a double lane highway. I rode home with using the kill switch and brakes for 22 miles with it getting to 72mph at times but was afraid of motor blowing so had to kill it to slow down. Now I like the look of the navi I really do but it does need a 150cc motor and when they increase the displacement I will buy one no questions asked. those small honda motors are like tanks. I know this because that eton had a honda motor on it too and it was awesome.
Outstanding! Looking into one for our daughter to get around her college town. Love the dark green best & your helmet too. 😊 ps - update to ‘brakes’ if u want😊
You guys ever worry about security? I would be using this to offset some of my cars work mileage but I live in an apartment complex, anything I can do to protect my Navi aside from apple AirTags?
I´m 36 years old and I never drove a motorcycle or a car. Here in Argentina this bike cost 1500 dollars., it´s affordable for me. I wasnt able to aford a vehicule until now, I´m interested in this bike because it seems good for a beginner and I would really like to learn I dislike not knowing how to drive and not having my own vehicule, but some people discourage me saying that it´s dangerous because I never drove before and I should get a car instead (I don´t have money for a car and also I want the bike to work in the city), but I think this bike might be a good start, I would like to know your point of view. Thank you my friend!
Got 3500 on mine it runs better now than when it was new... I put different handlebars on it that really helped out with making it more comfortable... They need to be taller but the cables wouldn't stretch anymore... For saddlebags I got a couple of black purses from garage sale... I do not feel very cool riding his bike around however keeps me out of trouble.. it only gets 80 miles a gallon.. and I think that sucks cuz it's supposed to get 110.. I don't like the foot brake either should be on the left like a normal scooter.... Back tire needs to be replaced already so don't expect to get any more than 3,500 out of the back tire... I would recommend buying the navi, but I live in the city so I can get away with super slow machine... It's so easy just to jump on and and go for a ride.. and I don't feel like it's going to leave me stranded anywhere,, which is a big deal to me because I hate working on stuff that's why I went with a new bike..
So at 100 miles it's not even close to break-in. It took mine 1000 miles to break-in. I am getting about 70 to 80 miles per gal .if I don't drive full throttle all the time. I highly recommend a DZG LED Headlight $25. the stock light is trash If you want a small speed increase smaller roller wieghts and maybe some i think yellow clutch springs a super cheap upgrade. A small collapsible tail bag with the rear rack , works for a great shopping haul. I also did the AC to DC conversion now my light is key with the ignition. Scooter Swap Shop has a bunch of upgrades. So much fun I can't stop smiling. Best city ever. I just picked up the new honda XR150L ,they are $2971. MSRP .
Please tell what 100 % ethanol gas I think you mean 100% ethanol free gas cause if that’s the case that’s the best thing you burn in it believe me you will very little carb issues with that gas
Did 2800km in Sri Lanka on it. Can't really recommend it. Main reasons, lack power for overtaking, saddle is way too wide and the rear suspension is really bad. Although, if you are on a really tight budget it can be an Ok option as it's the cheapest option in this category and it's really economical on the fuel. Bottom line, by spending just a little more you have many options that are far better than this.
I think the ruckus is a more beautiful bike but the navi is 110cc and the rukus is 50cc niether is better but the 110cc engins is a main selling point for the navi
You can drive to Mexico to save on shipping and certainly assemble the bike your self if you are a certified Honda mechanic for the safety check and certainly you can go do all the license registration yourself . But I am a cheapskate and let them do all the prep work. The dealers are making nothing on this bike. Now 30 plus grand for a GL1800 is thier bread and butter ya think .
Honestly if this is your first bike 100 miles isn’t going to give you an inside track and all of a sudden make you important enough to come to for information on whether or not I should buy it because nobody who buys a bike that looks Like that is going to leave its stock perhaps when you are at the stage of pulling the bike apart and tinkering with the inner workings and you’re able to give insight on what works for you what kind of set up you got for you pros cons etc but if you are just al rider you will never know that bike to the fullest extent. if I come across a bit harsh about I’m tired of people who just bought a bike and make a video on pros and cons as if they know look at it from my point of view.
I would definitely recommend the Navi. I bought one a year ago and ride it to work ( 16 miles round trip ) every time I can. I have almost 1,500 miles on it and it still runs perfect. I've heard that it gets better around 500 miles! im looking forward to it

Thank you for your comment! I hope you have fun with your navi when you get it. its a great decision
I wonder if this will cruise at 45 two up?
@@jonneet2126 I bought one last month. I would say I feel comfortable to cruise it at 40mph, but not higher. Never took a passage with me so I can't tell for 2 people on it.
20 miles in LOVE THIS BIKE!
Great video. Picking up my ‘24 Navi in blue today. Can’t wait!
I love my honda navi!

This is some good info! I’d love to do the LED light conversion. The stock ones are probably dimmer than I would like
Yeah, I feel my Navi is at most 80mpg

Thank you for your comment! I definitely look forward to putting more miles on it and I’ll probably do a 500 mile video :)

Any updates? I just got one and love it so much!
i’d like to post another video this summer! it’s been great
You guys ever worry about security? I would be using this to offset some of my cars work mileage but I live in an apartment complex, anything I can do to protect my Navi aside from apple AirTags?
I use a bicycle alarm and often cable lock to a bicycle rack , and park right in front of stores under thier cameras.
More videos of your bike! Just picked mine up recently and loving it so far.
Very thorough review. I’m leaning towards buying one of these as a starter bike. Thanks man
Glad I could help! Would definitely recommend
Great review. Thanks.
Nice job!! Thanks for the information!
Well done video and love that color scheme on the bike

Hey Alejandro! this is a great bike for beginners. You won’t regret this purchase
Add a link for the windshield thing bro I just got the same bike

More Navi videos bro ! ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽…..Do a “Go-Pro” video driving around 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽: GREAT REVIEW!
You got it!
Well done video!
Good review.
Man where did you get it for that price out the door? Dealers near me are gauging everyone
I really want this, I don't need to go faster that 55mph on a bike anyway lol
If you park it and walk into a gas station can anyone just walk away with it? Or will it not move without a key it it?
Thank You!
Love the extra large windshield.🤣😝
Hey tochi quick question have you needed to clean or had any issues with the carburetor? If so was it easy to clean or easy to fix ?
In a year of ownership haven’t had to yet ! I’ve been on the reddit forums though and it seems pretty straightforward
Can you post a link to we're you bought it at
www.bartlesvillecyclesports.com/
How you liking it still?
loving it man!
I’m thinking about buying one
Navi rules 🎉
I want one!

I’m thinking about buying one just to go around town
Did you order it from Honda ?
nope got it from a dealer
I really wish this was sold in Europe.
I have 17,000 miles on my navi
The drum breaks get better at around 300 miles that’s how drum brakes are
I think there's an aftermarket disc brake conversion kit. Having a disc on the front at least would be a good upgrade.
Acabo de financiar una honda navi cuando la resiba les subo un video
Please tell what 100 % ethanol gas I think you mean 100% ethanol free gas cause if that’s the case that’s the best thing you burn in it believe me you will very little carb issues with that gas
yes you’re absolutely right. i put captions to correct my mistake
did you need a motorcycle license?
yeah sadly
Did 2800km in Sri Lanka on it. Can't really recommend it. Main reasons, lack power for overtaking, saddle is way too wide and the rear suspension is really bad. Although, if you are on a really tight budget it can be an Ok option as it's the cheapest option in this category and it's really economical on the fuel. Bottom line, by spending just a little more you have many options that are far better than this.
The only reason I would buy that bike is because it doesn’t look like a conventional scooter and it’s a Honda
A scooter is a motorcycle.
I understand they were building to a price, but going back to a carburetor was one step too far. I'm out.
Cool bike but for just a few more bucks you can get the Ruckus that has better range and can off road
I think the ruckus is a more beautiful bike but the navi is 110cc and the rukus is 50cc niether is better but the 110cc engins is a main selling point for the navi
Junk
The retail price is 18 but you paid 24 that doesn’t make any sense.

You don’t have to like the video just wanted to give my opinion :) I made it very clear that it’s a 100 mile review
That's a pos straight outta box🤣🤣🤣
