    I enjoyed your no BS video. I'm 79 and have had my Navi for a year, I am very impressed with the quality and design of the little bike. I have had several much bigger and more complicated bikes and really enjoyed them and have taken some pretty long trips with them. I have as much fun with the Navi. My biggest surprise was how well it does off the road. The only complaint that I have is the thimble sized gas tank. I would worry less about running out of gas if the tank were a little larger..1.5 gallons would be about right. Good job on the video and good luck with your future UA-cam ventures.

    • @2wheelVengeance2065
      @2wheelVengeance2065  Рік тому

      I agree with you on the tank capacity. It would really be cool if it could be a little over a gallon, why would they use a .9 tank? Maybe there wasnt any space, but I wish it had at least a full gallon XD

    • @DiogenesOfCa

      Sometimes I have to fill it before I go to work and the trip home, that is tiresome.
      1.5 would mean I would only have to fill every day, which is acceptable to me.

    He’s right: Carbeurators are fine, if they’re jetted for your current altitude. Here’s a tip: have a competent mechanic jet them for the highest altitude you expect to ride at. My old Honda CM450 in Las Vegas was jetted for high altitude and had no problems summiting 9,000 ft or descending to below sea level in Death Valley - in March when it’s just 70 degrees; I’m not suicidal.

    Its great to hear how excited you are about this little motorcycle. I live in Panama in Central America and we see tons of these scooters running around. They are a lot less expensive here because we don't have those dealer prep fee's added to the price. We pay 1550. including tax and a nice helmet goes with it. Small scooters are a way of life for me. Been riding for years. I just bought a new Honda Elite and am waiting for the dealership to finish the paperwork on it so I can pick that up. I have an XRE 190 already as well. They don't sell that model in the US. Will you sell your Navi since you are upgrading?

I'm not sure what's going on with yours, I hope you can find a solution somewhere. Worse comes to worse comes to worse you night have to have a bike dealer service it.

    • @2wheelVengeance2065
      @2wheelVengeance2065  8 місяців тому +1

      What I can tell you is I believe it all depends on your route. If you need to travel on hilly roads and the speed limit is 50, the Grom will only be a little faster. On flat ground you will get around 47-52mph with the NAVI depending on weight, weather conditions, etc. If you travel on a route that the posted speeds are 45mph or under then really any model could work. Make sure whatever you buy you wont regret later!

    Hello! I'm thinking about getting the Navi to commute for work as well. There is no parking on my street so i was thinking i can buy yhis and it will for sure be able to fit in the back of house with no issues. My only concern is the acceleration, I live in California and the roads sometimes are busy. Do you know if the acceleration is good enough for stop and go traffic? Or is there a way to make to make it faster on acceleration with aftermarket parts? I really like it and it's price is amazing! But my only concern is the speed. I only weigh around 130 Lbs so maybe it will be fast enough with me on it?

    • @2wheelVengeance2065
      @2wheelVengeance2065  4 місяці тому

      If you have to accelerate from red lights or stops it is definitely completely capable of acceleration. I would try to avoid roads where the speed limit is above 45mph though, if any higher it will definitely struggle.

    I'm 64, and have ridden since I was 8 years old. I now mostly ride older Harleys, vintage British bikes, and vintage 2 stroke Vespa scooters. I have ridden a Navi. I didn't buy one because at the time Honda dealers were trying to sell them for around $5K OTD. It's also a little small for me. Even in town it's a bit slow. I did used to own a Yamaha Vino 125, and it kept up with traffic much better than this bike. Anybody complaining about the brakes on this bike is severely lacking in riding skills. I had no problems at all with the brakes. Remember this thing is 110cc. I could do stoppies on it all day long. I also love the carburetor, and the fact that it is carbureted would be one of my main reasons for buying it or recommending it. I may actually consider one now that the insane prices have come down. This bike is made in India, assembled in Mexico, then shipped to the U.S. It's definitely worth the actual msrp if it fits your needs. I wouldn't even consider paying more than $2500 OTD, and that includes tax, title, and license.

    Good luck with your UA-cam vids. I like the Navi, but it just wasn’t enough bike, mainly because of it’s l price point limitations. I’m going with the Honda Adv 150 scooter as I want an auto transmission and yet want to have some laid back fun off road as well as on. It is def out-of-the-box approach but my research on it seems to show it “works” just like your Navi has shown you. If you want to step up to a more “easy 2 wheeling” economic and everyday fun transport, throw a leg over a Honda ADV 150 if you can. Check it out on UA-cam reviews, - esp. one that asks “ Is The Honda Adv 150 A Real Adventure Bike” by an Aussie adventure motorcycling guy who posts vids on adventure cycling. I think It is under the title “Hard Packed Adventures.” Good luc, stay safe cycling.

    Most milage I've seen on a Navi video. Anyway, what makes it a scooter most of all is that the motor is mounted on the swingarm and not in the frame. The Super Cub, Trail 125, etc ... People call those scooters, but they're underbone motorcycles, which is a whole category of bikes we don't get much of in the US. Asia and the Pacific Rim get these sporty super-underbones like the Suzuki Raider 155, and I wish they sold em here. And it seems like everyone calls all these bikes "mopeds," but there are no pedals, so no moped. IDK, just felt like writing a paragraph lol. Thanks for the video!

      So I am able to take the wheel off myself but I need to bring it to a tire place to remove the old one and install the new one. They are not a dealer or motorcycle-specific place, but they only charge $12. So after they install the tire on the wheel, I take it home and install it myself back on the Navi. Very easy!

    Had another question 😀 did you run your navi full throttle most of the time . i cruise most of the time at 40 to 45 mph. With throttle to spare My ride is 100% stock . just bought the 13 gram dr. pulley sliders and need to install them . i do all the service on my ride . Honda is way out of line on there prices . $90.00 for a oil change 😆 you tube is great for learning how to work on a navi. Good luck on your new ride . RIDE SAFE car drivers don't respect us.

    • @2wheelVengeance2065

      So the front tire is still the stock/original one. The rear tire, my god I've been through about 4 because the way I rode so much it just burned out alot of the tread after around 4000 miles!
      (I mean then again, I don't like spending money so maybe I should've invested in better, stronger tires🤣)

    • @2wheelVengeance2065
      @2wheelVengeance2065  Рік тому

      Generally you would want to use both brakes at the same time when you need to stop however using front and rear or front brake in a curve/turn is not a good idea. Lightly apply pressure to the rear brake in a curve/turn if needed. But if you are just riding on a straight road and need to stop, both brakes are recommended!

    If you buy a Navi watch out for ripoff dealers trying to charge ridiculous markup on the "fees". Thus gent paid around $2250 out the door. That is not bad. I have seen dealer quotes for as much as about $4400! I have seen " assembly fees" up to $850, yet have read that the Navi is super easy to assemble. This pisses me off to no end. Honda Corporate, and American Honda should be aggressively preventing this. I'm a 70 year old motorcycle rider that started off road at 10. I have bought close to 25 motorcycles and 6-7 scooters. The industry us counting on you, the new rider, to "upgrade" to ever larger machines, each time trading your old one in, at a large loss to you, as you buy that bigger one. Some of us, as in me, still get lots of fun riding any motorcycle or scooter. Hell, the back roads are more scenic and runner to ride on anyway. There are always plenty of bikers telling you that you just have to get a bigger machine. If you buy into that, the industry will love you.

    • @2wheelVengeance2065
      @2wheelVengeance2065  Рік тому

      Yes sir very good point there. Why can't people just charge a fair price? Then at the end of the day, it works out for both the consumer and the dealer.

    I bought a new2022 kawasaki klr 650 and a new 22 honda forman atv last year...both great machines...I'm buying one of these tomorrow to fill that little little niche between the klr and quad ( running to the store or?) And..And...And, at 68 I know for certain that this is a "chick magnet" in that while I was at the honda dealership sitting on one, I noticed a female employee staring at me (I believe in a somewhat wanting fashion), as I had to remind her I was far more than just eye candy...(this was a Harley dealership also) ...So yes, if there's a downside, it's the misplaced bravado that is attached to this ground shaking machine...If you can deal with that, this may be your call to the open road...
