Fearless Felt Watercolor Journal and Watercolor Bowls

- A few weeks ago Eileen Goldenberg reached out to me and offered to send me one of her watercolor bowls and journals. I said yes and was shocked at what I got! Ms Goldenberg has a lifetime of skill and training in pottery and it stands in out in her simple and perfect watercolor bowl!
The bowls are large enough to hold enough water that you only need the one bowl but small enough to fit in one hand (5-6” in diameter and 3.5” tall). The glazes are designed and made by Ms Goldenberg herself. The interior glaze is smooth and perfect for removing paint while protecting your expensive sable brushes.
The Fearless Felt Watercolor Journal is similarly well designed. She uses extra thick high quality felt that is soft but strong. The journal is actually two journals held together by two strong elastic ties. The paper used is 100% cotton Fabriano Artistico and replacements are available but you can use any paper that fits.
Lastly don’t overlook her amazing Encaustic paintings! Array 412 in particular reminds me of the summer I spent in Japan.

Lovely things.
Great review and good description of your experiences.....thanks. I want to touch that bowl! Wow - so beautiful.
Great video thank you!!!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks, great review. The bowl is gorgeous.
Annalisa Manderville thank you so much! Isn’t it though? Just wonderful.
The sketchbook and bowl are both so well made and beautiful! Handmade things are still the best, because made by people with passion, who want to use that stuff too, so they know what's important. Thanks for showcasing these wonderful items! :)
Thank you for watching!
Your comment about drying off your brush on the felt is spot on. Wool can retain 30% of it's weight in water before it feels wet!
Eileen is really talented! Her paintings are bold and stunning but not fussy (some people don't seem to know when to stop). The ceramics (I was horrid at it) are wonderful, too. Oh, my, that plate! She is way out of my price range, but I don't believe they are in any way overpriced.
I got out a lot of things I have been putting off and, because it is the pandemic, I am just leaving everything out until I finish it!
How interesting...an obelisk. I love it. What inspired it?
I really enjoyed this whole video!
Oh it’s the Washington monument from a river can’t remember which one. It stands out and is the biggest thing around. I also liked that it was a view of the monument that’s different from what we normally see.

Thank you for watching!
How cool! I was an art major in college in the 80s....pottery was my main interest....now many years later, watercolor and pen and ink drawing is what I mostly do...I have seen several of your videos and have been enjoying them....gonna subscribe now.
