Sooo glad they are going to make the log grapple that hooks to the tractor without the new lift arms. Much more versatile in the steep areas i due fuel reduction work out here in Ca.
I own a 60 acre wooded lot that I’m about to begin developing a farm. I have been considering a L6060 but am curious if you think a machine like this could handle the forestry work, roughing in a driveway, clearing brush, grinding stumps or will that be too much for this little machine?

I think it would be cool if they made a skid steer quick attach for that instead of their own, I see the purpose so you have to buy their own attachments but I could see it being more handy if you had that option
its cool, ive been following ventrac for a long time and it would be a great tractor for the rv park i operate. but for the price of that i can go buy a bigger tractor
hm. would a back hoe attachment be possible? it could be rather cool. might be really quite expensive. but personally. that'd make the tractor a most definite buy once i get the cash.
This unit would replace the compact tractor I have with loader and grapple. I have a 4500 with several accessories, and a compact tractor with loader and grapple. Now to decide if I should upgrade? Great job on design.
can you make a frame thats adds a tiltable headstock on the tractor to make loader atackments act like the power bucket with out the loader. also diferent headstocks for it so somone could add some pallet tines on the front of the ventrack
The only thing stopping me from buying a Ventrac is the lack of an auger attachment. Is an auger attachment running off the third function kit on the cards or a possibility?
I commented on the "livestream" video about these new attachments, but will add the ideas from that comment here as well. It would be nice if there could be pallet forks for use with the new loader, as well as some sort of boom attachment. The boom could be used for lifting heavy items such as engines or tractor tires, or for things like pulling a well pump. Another person commented that they would like to see a broom attachment for use with the loader. It was mentioned here that a post hole digger (PHD) attachment would be nice to have. This was an option with the old loader at one time. Does the old PHD work with the new loader? Is a new one coming? As I think about it, there are a couple of other things that would be neat to see. One such thing is a way to attach existing attachments to the loader. This would be nice for raising a snowblower so you could remove tall snowbanks, working from the top down. Another thing that could be nice to have is a gad for breaking concrete. I've seen these quite often on skid steer tractors, and it might be handy on the Ventrac too. Finally, one other thing that would be nice to see, although not necessarily dependent upon the loader, would be a winch/log skidder/anchor attachment for the tractor to drag logs up slopes to get them to the road where they could be picked by the log grapple. I'm picturing something that would drive an anchor into the ground, then, using a winch or capstan, provide a means to drag logs uphill to the Ventrac's location. How about it, Aaron? It would go well with the grapples you've just added.
I would like to see for them to come up with a black hole to be operated along with the that would be nice especially if your landscaping and in an area where your have new construction the backhoe would become handy to get up close to buildings or foundations to dig and then use a trencher and or the bucket loader with the back hole and combination especially with new construction of homes and other buildings such as businesses
Not 100%; they should have done better on what would be an easy upgrade. Larger Volume Pump and 3rd valve function. We're selling our Ventracs, I'm sick of these high-priced hunks of junk that aren't given the proper attention to detail, yet they wanna charge luxury price points for the machine and attachments...
The KM500 is compatible with the 4500. You may have to have your dealer install dual aux and a third hydraulic function in order for the loader to be usable.
@@ventrac We were interested in the grapple bucket, not just the standard or mulch bucket. That would have been a massive addition to our company, regarding the workload we've been getting requests for recently. Brush removal, fallen trees in roadways with the more aggressive storms.
As a potential buyer, not being skid steer QA is disappointing. I'm trying to justify your pricetag for a fantastic mower at this point. Almost all my other tractor attachments are not usable. A SSQA loader would tilt the scales immensely in my decision to buy. Just saying
So you made your loader controls different from every other manufacture and then called that intuitive? Then you make a switch you have to hit every time verses just a switch that stays in one position and are trying to sell that as a feature? This machine looks like it has so much potential but Ventrac has some really weird engineering. Please tell my why you don't have a regular joystick to operate the loader, this makes no sense at all.
Hey Pete - Thanks for watching a few of our videos recently. After reading through all of your comments, I think you should definitely find a local dealer to demo a Ventrac. We design some things a little differently, but it's all for a purpose. Most of our professional customers buy our equipment precisely BECAUSE it's intuitive to use and because we get a lot of work done quickly. Some of the machine advantages actually are kind of unbelievable until you experience them for yourself. If you have any questions in the meantime, let me know! -Zach @ Ventrac
@@ventrac I would but its your loader that keeps me from looking further. I can't imagine using anything less capable then my 1025R loader. I use my loader all the time and can't justify 2 machines.
this just sickens me....... sigh... now I really want a ventrac. only have three issues left that are stopping me from getting one..... dealer that's not over 10hrs away, rear PTO, and a lack of funds..... aint it odd how a d can take your fun away..... fun+d=fund= :(

The loader makes the Ventrac look like a real compact tractor. I like it. It needs a 4 in 1 bucket to be truely versatile.
I agree. Also a 4 in 1 power bucket
Great idea! A 4 in 1 bucket would definitely increase the versatility of the loader.
@@ventrac1 no hi

I look forward to the day when I have a Ventrac, as well as a whole garage of its attachments.

Nice demonstration! The swiss army knife of tractors!
We like that description!
Does all jobs good but doesn't do one perfectly? That's a swiss army knife. A ventrac is an engineering marvel.
Comes with the Swiss army price tag also.

Very helpful! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
When are yall come out with a tear pto and hydraulic connection
I could really use a hydraulic breaker option! Make next please.
Answers the question of how to get the logs in from the woods. What is the Ventrac equivalent of the drawbar, as you'd find on say a John Deere?
its cool, ive been following ventrac for a long time and it would be a great tractor for the rv park i operate. but for the price of that i can go buy a bigger tractor
What about a forestry mulcher will one be coming soon
Can the cab be used with the loader.
can you get difernt headstocks on the loader to fit other brand loader atachments people all ready have like skid steer fitting
We need the rock bucket option like the power bucket. I work a lot in cobble and small boulders but don't want the dirt and trash only rocks.
You can purchase the KM100 Rock Loader through your local dealer! Check out this link for more details www.ventrac.com/products/attachments/km500
I am seriously looking into buying this machine the only thing I would want is a auger for fences. Do they make them
We currently do not but that is a common suggestion! We appreciate the feedback.
hm. would a back hoe attachment be possible? it could be rather cool. might be really quite expensive. but personally. that'd make the tractor a most definite buy once i get the cash.
There needs to be a post hole digger attachment for this loader.
Thanks for recommendation!
Does this mean that we no longer use the front tough cut mower?

Do you have a price point for the 3rd function front valve kit?
www.ventrac.com/products/accessories/70.8252 The kit is $695
Would this not be recommended for snow removal / sidewalks?
Is the quick attach design compatible with the green brand quick attach?
The only thing stopping me from buying a Ventrac is the lack of an auger attachment. Is an auger attachment running off the third function kit on the cards or a possibility?
Not off of the 3rd function since we don't have enough hydraulic flow. It will require a separate attachment.
Will there be a snow pusher available for the front end loader mount ?
At this time we do not have a snow blade option available. The best option you would have within the context of a loader would be a bucket accessory.
Grapple only on the 4520 is gonna limit sales big time
I commented on the "livestream" video about these new attachments, but will add the ideas from that comment here as well.

You can send that suggestion to info@ventrac.com!

Will the stand-alone rock grapple work on a 4500Z?
Because the 4500z does not have third function capability, the rock grapple will not work with the 4500.
@@ventrac that’s just mean.
@@paulmartin769 It's because the hydraulics are not able to handle it. We upgraded our hydraulic system with 4520.

Kind you still cut grass with the loader
How about forks for the loader?
That's a common suggestion. Because of the lifting capacity of the loader, it would be difficult to make it practical and safe. Great suggestion!
What is the weight in the km100 and standard bucket?
The weight of the KM100 is 250 pounds. The capacity of the loader is 700 pounds including the weight of the attachment.
I agree no SSQA was a dumb idea
Hay VENTRAC hook up Mr. John from UPSTATE BRUCH CONTROL with a used Model !!! 😊😊😊

Disappointed by the reduced lift height. Major negative for me.
Slowly, ventrac is learning how every other tractor on earth operates and now they market it like they invented something elite lol
