I'm from Poland. I was in California in August 2023. I saw Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco. It was an amazing trip🤩. My memories came back. America I miss you.
The best part about making this drive at night is when you make it around that last bend and you see Primm off in the distance all lit up. At that point, I think it's 13 miles to get there and you know at that point, you're home free...
I used to grab my phone and make a call the second I crossed the state line. That is when it was legal. Now I know how stupid that was. BTW, not sure why I'm watching this video. It's more of a background video while I do other stuff since I've made this drive on the 15 a hundred times and am sick of it. But can't afford to fly and grab a rental haha.
@@AbbersLovesJesus LOL i appreciate you watching. I drove the route and I still watch the videos as background videos on the tv while i do work. It actually increased my productivity more than leaving the news or some rerun on in the background and I feel like i'm out in the world even tho i'm at home.
@Relaxing.Scenes.Driving nice. I'll keep them as a background video while working or doing dishes, etc. I wish my dash cam could record an entire trip like this, since I'm driving to Colorado soon.

Incredible video, just one thing I want to point out. As you became more tired as the video progressed, you were weaving a LOT in your lane. Playing the video back at x2 speed shows that by the time you cross the Nevada border, you're ping-ponging in lane (and even straying into the neighboring lane). At the 3 hour mark, you were fine. 4 hours and 30 minutes in, I was getting worried for you. This is for everyone reading this comment: if you do trips like this and your car has lane center assist, please use it. If it doesn't, consider it for your next car and use it. And don't drive over 5 hours non-stop without taking a personal break. Get out, stretch your legs, go for a pee, keep yourself safe and alert.
It would be helpful if u put a small map on the top left or right where the blue sky is to show where u actually are for navigation purposes. Just a suggestion to improve the viewing. Thanks a lot for the video.
Thank you for this amazing video ❤ I’m planning to take a trip to the us for my birthday in January and want to drive from LA to Las Vegas so wanted to check if the road is safe and your video shows what I was looking for. Thnx from Norway ❤

Probably have watched this Video a few hundred times. The Drive into Vegas at night is amazing. I do have a request. I haven't found any video of the drive going south on 15 in to Vegas at night. Like maybe from St. George or Mesquite. Your Beautiful Videos are amazing. Maybe hopefully some time you could make a video like that. Thank you for all you do in making these.
i'm gonna start saving up and do this for like a month. One trip from LA to NY, then one trip from Vancouver to Miami. USA gotta have one of the most beautiful landscapes
The Strip southbound must've been a very smooth ride as it was already repaved for the F1 grand prix in November. Only traffic cones, no concrete barriers and grandstands yet in August. Came from down under for the F1's and drove Hwy 15 back to LA, some grand vistas along the way. So just had to watch this video, thanks for posting.
Ya it was super smooth lol I enjoyed it. It was weird without the lane markers peopel were driving kinda erratic next to me you can't see it in the video tho. Thanks for watching have a relaxing day 👍🏼
Another suggestion would be as another viewer commented, have a GPS map in the corner so we can see what city you’re driving through, the distance to destination and name of interstate, roads, etc. 👍 Keep up the great content ))
Another great drive!! You never disappoint. Video was smooth, very easy to watch. But how did you manage to navigate that traffic in L.A. ? As always, thank you. Be well
Thank you for watch and commenting on all the videos Susan! I appreciate your feedback. You eventually get use to LA traffic. Just got to get into a zen mode when people do dangerous maneuvers right in front of you.
Did anybody mention already that the white building on the left side at the beginning of the video is "General Hospital" from the soap opera? I am from a suburb of LA and I used to like to say (Before I moved) "There's General Hospital!" like a giddy tourist as I passed it on the freeway!
I sacrifice for the viewers lol thanks for watching on one of the videos I was sick and you could hear my fighting to not cough. Have a relaxing day Rich 👍🏼
This really took me back, even though its quite different looking . Stayed in Vegas from Dec. 27, 1996, through Jan 4, 1997. Took this drive super early from Vegas to Cali on Jan 3, 1997... decent weather in Vegas, but miserable rain, low clouds trapped in LA that entire day. On the way back to Vegas..weather cleared, but a very dark ride. Primm, NV had a few casinos back then...not like this. 4:37:10, I knew I was getting close as I saw the Luxor beam behind the hills, small mountain...suddenly the whole town appears lit up..and just happy to the end of the long drive is near. There was a low "fog - smoke" - almost yellowish haze over the strip in the distance. Finding out the next morning it was from fireworks of the Grand Opening of New York New York Hotel/Casino.
1:25:36 At about this point is where Brightline West will turn north and follow the median of I-15 until about 4:43:22 where it will shift over to the far right of the freeway. And then 4:48:22 is where it will exit to the station location just north of Exit 33.
Thanks for watching I will try to create one with the sphere the road parts of roads where closed off temporarily they where doing road construction work for the F1 race coming up. If u notice some of the streets don’t even have lines on the roads painted yet people where just driving Willy Nilly on it
Great ride! What do you think is faster in terms of travel time: driving or flying? Flying would take about 1:15 hr but you would have traffic jams, waiting time, queues from city to LAX airport and at Las Vegas airport. In that sense from LAX downtown to Las Vegas downtown, I would say the trip by car and all the traffic doesn't look that distracting. Stepping out right in front of your hotel and no hassle with luggages at airports. :)
During holidays if no traffic driving is faster otherwise flying is always faster but more of a hassle with security stuff both ways and luggage checks
@@Relaxing.Scenes.Driving Its the number one thing that de-stresses me. Im from NY (not city) so just thinkin about taking those rides out there gives me a drive to make it happen.

This person literally got off the interstate just to be nosey to see what’s on fire and then got back on the interstate? That’s nosey to a whole new level.
Judging by the crowds on the Strip, this had to be a Tuesday night, seemed pretty dead as far as foot traffic. Had no clue that view of Downtown LV was so good from the MLK exit on the I-15. That said, interesting that you took that route through the hood instead of getting off right on the Downtown LV exit. Best part of the trip is the 4:43 mark when you make the wide left turn past the mountain and the entire Vegas valley opens up to you with the lights of the Strip awaiting your arrival. Its at this point you know you're about to have a memorable experience in Sin CIty, whether good or bad!

There are a few more gas stations between vegas and Barstow. The only downside is the price is higher cuz you have fewer options
Fill up in Barstow. Otherwise you'll pay more in baker. And the price of gas won't fall until you reach Nevada.
