This is so beautiful. What we're seeing is the lovely progression of an individual through the urban landscape. It's a testimony to engineering and to the expression of form following function. A human wants to travel and the engineer provides the means. One pays the other in kind. The engineer has the achievement of providing the human with an expanse to explore, the glory of travel, of movement, of feeling that their humanity is being realised.

I'd recommend looking up places that are more pleasing to the eye. Like the Griffith Observatory or anywhere high up and away from city life. Once you see most of these cities in person... the charm is lost when you realize how poorly they're maintained. Don't get me wrong, there are tons of fun places to visit. But be aware that high crime is in most areas of SoCal. Do not venture out at night unless you're just driving through. Stay safe and enjoy your stay whenever you come out. :) A lot of us are a friendly bunch and we love visitors from other states or countries. ❤️ But again, crime is very high, so be cautious.
love seeing the iconic Hollywood sign, im from the UK and wanted to go as close as i can to that sign but not sure how, thank you so much for the drive, it felt like you taken us there with you in the same car :)

Oh this brought back some wonderful memories of when I visited LA from Melbourne Australia back in 2013. That sequence on Mulholland Drive was especially good. My LA friends drove me down through that area and pointed out the radio tower and radio station used in the first episode of "The Outer Limits" (Galaxy Being) which is still up there. One thing which really got to me was how similar Melbourne is to LA in many ways...very spread out suburbs running for miles and miles interconnected by freeways. One big difference? I didn't see one combined speed and red light camera emplacement in your video at all. Here you will strike a camera every couple of miles. They're everywhere! Great job...please do a video of the Hollywood studio areas and North Hollywood.

I have never been driving around in the LA area and thought...wow, this is relaxing. LA is so vast that even growing up in the area I have never been to Glendale. I'm shocked it looks like such a pretty big city, nice tour.
Glendale used to be small, charming, affordable. About 15 years ago some developers started to turn it into something else entirely. I miss the old Glendale. But I suppose if you like malls and chain stores, it's OK.

First of all, the hillside terrain that these roads are constructed upon in the Hollywood Hills is not stable. That means the land is imperceptibly and continuously shifting all the time Rain also seeps underneath these roads casing erosion. . Concrete is not utilized because it's not pliant and is too rigid and cracks. Therefore, asphalt is mainly used because its somewhat pliable and easily patched. Added to all this is the continuous tonnage of traffic.
There are no electric bicycles or electric motorcycles travel on the streets. This is what shocks me the most. Unlike China ,Chinese streets are way more beautiful than the US, I’m not talking about big cities,I’m talking about the small cities,even the small cities in china, the streets are way more beautiful than the US
I don't think there's a prettier city in China than Glendale or Santa Barbara. The streets of America are spacious, unlike the Chinese anthills, why do we need fucking electric motorcycles, they ride real Harley type motorcycles here
