Daniel your videos are great, but I want to say hats off to you and Deejay for the way you are raising your kids, I had the opportunity to meet Huston and introduce him to my grandson Braxton Saturday at Blanchard after Houston’s game, my grandson watches all of your videos and is a big fan of Houston’s just made Braxton’s day, Huston was so polite and respectful it was a pleasure to meet him, just thought you would like to know, keep up the good work.

My dad always said the best time to go fishing was before rain or a storm and early mornings when the same weather's on its way. He never failed to bring a good catch home. Thank you for your videos as we love them. 🙂
Remove pond debris. Winch. Ski rope. Grapple hook. Spare time. (HA!)..
Remove trees with winch untill clean. Create underwater habitat with flooded PVC structures so they will not cause snags but can memic habitat.

As a kid, my parents went fishing in a boat on a lake with my aunt and uncle. The lake mostly has perch, pike and walleye. They were lucky to catch enough fish for a meal. This is in Saskatchewan.
As soon as read perch, pike and walleye…I knew it had to be Saskatchewan. Nothing better than a pan of butter fried walleye cheeks…..mmmm

To make Larry gobble you need to hoot like an owl. But do not let him see you do it.
Nice time fishing! Cormorants are a pain! We have an egg oiling project every year to cull the flocks. One time we were fishing for herring with shad flies and there were about 3 thousand Cormorants in the water with an assembly line for eating! Ones at the back flew to the front and dove in for herring and then the ones at the back would take flight to go to front. It was the coolest thing ever!!
I've been watching several homesteading channels. I'm always so impressed with how mature and knowledgeable the farm kids are. Huston is a great kid.

I love watching you two fish! I started fishing when I was about 5 . My dad loved to fish and he would take me with him to go fishing with him and my uncle Eddie. This was a big deal since I am female. He'd rent a boat and bring his small outboard motor and we'd go out on Lake Erie and fish for several hours. That is one of my best memories. I am 68 now and still remember how much fun I had going fishing with my dad through the years!
