That's such a telegraphed attack I can't see how it manages to kill people.
@@Ujiyo it's a ds2 slow attack in ds3 fast paced gameplay. Of course it's telegraphed, but also it does not do that much damage compared to other attacks.
If they made like in ds2 a way to go into memories in the past, maybe we could have met Lorian when he was at his prime. Could have been cool tho.
@@panzeri209 in his prime, he'd have been a fight. Probably close to Pontiff Sulyvhan. Which means parries for days.

By far one of the hardest battles in Dark Souls, which is funny considering Lorian cant walk and Lothric is too weak for physical combat.
They are the 1 boss that force you to play their game. You can't really bait punishable attacks. Just have to be patient and alert. When the teleport happens, walk back. You'll see where they're going . React appropriately.
That is because they use jolly cooperation!
It was the one boss that forced me 2 stop using giant long swords and actually switch 2 using dex weapons. I had a lot of fun learning how 2 fight him.
@@Choink2558 Greatswords are actually my got to weapons when dealing with mobile enemies like Lorian and Lothric. Dodge, heavy attack, dodge, heavy attack, rinse and repeat until they're dead.
in my case they forced me to go back to my shield so that i could at least defend myself from Lorian's quick sword attacks
I hope to see a Father Ariandel and Slave Knight Gale theme in the future. Aside from this song, those were my other favorites from this game.

Both are crippled and broken, one can't even stand properly, while the other one is so weak that he can't even move and relies only on sorceries.
And despite this, they are still one of the hardest bosses in the game.

Those who don't know that Dark Souls bosses are rhythm based usually have a tougher time. This remake is amazing, and it really captures the tone of Dark Souls.

Imagine being born strong, standing taller than everyone and being a hero of great renown and respect, a Prince. Slaying a Demon Prince and your parents put no faith in you. But faith in your younger brother who was born weak and frail. Lorian while strong and powerful was cast aside for Lothric. That's how I see it
Gotta praise him fo not giving into jealousy though, he crippled himself to lessen lothrics curse
From what I can tell, he was fine being cast over for the position as Lord of Cinder. He openly embraced his brothers curse, which left him a mute cripple, who became so closely bound to Lothric that their souls almost became one. In his armour description, it states that he was happy to accept these burdens.
Basically, he’s the chill big bro that doesn’t mind that his little brother needs more attention

Did thee heard about the tragedy of lothric prince? It's not a story the soulwiki would tell you. It's a Lore legend. Lothric was a "Cinder Lord" of the Lothric kingdom, so faithful and so wise he could use the faith to influence the souls to create life... He had such a knowledge of the miracles that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The white side of the faith is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, was born sick and fragile, then his brother share with him soul and sickness too. Both were killed by a naked human wielding a magic infused broken club, It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.
You might think I'm joking after this one Falkonne, but I blazed through DS3 (not my first time I have already beaten it) in only 3 days, in a marathon that conveniently also ended yesterday. How do you do this. How. HOW?! Really good remix still xD. I've been marathoning Soulsborne games this year, and eventually I'll get to Nioh and beat Demon souls. Wonder if you can keep this bizarre streak going?
