costs extra but makes sense to make it authentic like the arcades.
You don't need an extra if you play alone
Then you can't get any DLC
Its amazing seeing this game coming outside of Japan and on to the Switch!
Now we just need Hatsune Miku to get her own Switch game (cough- *SEGA* -cough)

Not really as fun as Project Diva due to the low sound quality on 3DS.
Not even the sound quality, the difficulty in Mirai is about half as difficult as Future Tone. And I already have over two hundred hours in Mirai lol, I need more and don't have Sony consoles.
@@chronicmids6642 For my first Miku game, I thought Mirai DX was fantastic! I found it sounded better with headphones.
SUPER MEGA EXCITED for this game, but one question: Will we be able to buy a version with the drum accessory that the Japanese version offered? That's always the best way to play these games, by far.

Japan and Asia. Asia has had this game in English for a while. I got it for my birthday recently and it's super fun.
they released a port to ps2 once but that’s the only other time they released it outside japan
When the Wii and the 3DS came around Nintendo couldn't be bothered to release this game outside of Japan but now all of a sudden they can? WTF kind of logic is that?

I loved playing this game in the arcades with my girlfriend when I was in Japan. I hope they bring out the Taiko drum set for this. I made a japanese account to get this game early for the switch and it was worth it :)
Played this at Paris Games Week and it's super fun to play.

@@lay-lowandsmash1519 yes and no. Asia(excluding Japan) got a seperate release with an English box art and English text stating and update included English as a language. BUT it does use the Japanese cart. So, yes and no.
I'd prefer Project Diva getting ported, but I'll take my second favorite rhythm game series too

Well the Bandai Namco US Twitter put a song list out for people to see what’s coming. And the hoppy boy’s theme was on there, as well as our phantom thief/police officer rivals.

Pirikko There hasn’t been anything announced for the drum in America. If we have to import a part of this to get the full experience, then what’s the point. This is literally a half-baked effort from BamCo.

Really happy you're bringing this over Nintendo. Please bring the drum controller over too!!! I tried the Japanese demo with the motion controls and it just doesn't feel the same.

I'm glad to see this coming over. It also looks like the setlist will be left mostly intact. I do wonder if they'll swap out the Japanese version of How Far I'll Go for the English original.
The fact that We Are is available makes this game a 10/10 in my book.
