Press open button 3 times to retract roof ..press open twice and close button once to close roof.....I do a similar thing with my 325 CI. .open button twice don't hold it down ..when door opens window go down ..when door closes window goes up..
The metal roof is a work of art, and a joy to watch going down or up. Just one switch operation on the centre console, or the key. What an incredible piece of engineering. Well done BMW
Do you have to have this coded? Because mine you just press and hold unlock to lower it, but nothing makes it go back up.
