I bought a 2019 Rush E (5 seater variant) for the Mrs way back less than 1M pa sya nun bago mag train law...Priority ko nun is high ground clearance (220mm), AT, Cargo Space....sakto lang para sa kanya...Ganda din ang Veloz with the Bells and Whistles though bias ako sa RWD at manual.parking brake....So far.wala.pa naman sakit na ulo binigay.
Pinag pilian ko din tlga tong dalawang to. Pero I decided to go with the Rush dhil sa ground clearance, RWD, and lesser electronic components.

Convenient wise , Toyota rush. Because of its high ground front. And efficient in everything especially in long distance drive. Also tipid sa Gasolina. We have one 2023 Toyota rush. Recommended. 👌
I'm quite hesitant lang for the the Veloz because of CVT Transmission, wala kaya magiging issue sa CVT?

power il go for rush. tested sa akyatan sa baguio kahit 7 pax sakay at puno luggage bay sa likod solid bukod pa sa mataas ang ground clearance. ung veloz nga kaptid ko problemado kasi mababa clearance di pwedeng pang bahain na kalye mahina pa sa akyatan dahil sa cvt transmission nya.
Kung interior usapan at tech lamang talaga veloz pero kung exterior lamang na lamang rush grs jan, rush kase never naging mukhang karo

in my opinion if u want a simple yet a reliable vehicle wirh a good ground clearance with a mediocre power engine and only loves city drive but want something u can use in general like loading cargo and low maintenance ,the. go with the rush specially safety aspect. its now as powerful as innova but the day to day routine will definitely give you satifasction at the end of the day. in long term use,i cant say it from now but i thibk rush will take you not just miles away with good engine after 10 yrs. of use. thatbis base on other reviews who have use the engine like what rush have.
I need White rush, but 2024
The only reason to get the Rush is the higher ground clearance, RWD and the "SUV" looks. Unless those are absolute deal breakers, get the Veloz.
For me, my 2:40 Rush GR-S, RWD, and the ground clearance is totally meant for this sobrang pangit na roads ng Metro Manila specially Edsa ang Manila area. Plus sa baha hahay
Para naman saken is Rush yung best choice ko dahil sa AT transmission sya, less sakit sa ulo incase ma sira at di kamahalan ung repair, compare sa Veloz CVT na consider as replacing na pag nasira. At less electronics features yung Rush so less ung alalahanin.
I will still go for Rush ❤

di ba parang inuubos na lang Rush since ipha-phase out na sya. overlapping daw sa yaris cross market. between the Rush and yaris cross pagpilian mo mas pantay na comparison. veloz is an MPV, medyo hassle yung mababang ground clearance nya and mahina sa lubakan -- matagtag...but smooth sa smooth roads.

Pero, naka try ako ng Veloz kahapon. Ang laki ng pagkakaiba.
• Mas techy (maraming pindotan, maraming sensors, at settings sa infotainment, etc.) pero mababa si Veloz
• May Eco mode at Power mode si Veloz
• Tahimik engine ni Veloz

• Kaunti ang pindotan sa dashboard
• Mataas yung natatanaw ko kapag naka-upo ako sa loob
• Mas ramdam ko yung hatak kapag biglang piniga yung throttle

i like Rush because it is rear wheel drive..drawback lang it must have a 2.0 engine 1.5 is small..

Design and tech -lamang si Veloz , if you notice new design now square-ish and bigger grill kaya hindi madaling maluna design , talo ka lang talaga sa ground clearance . Btw Rush is entry level SUV compared to Veloz which is MPV . End of the day , it will be your personal preference, you wont go wrong whatever is your final choice .

@@quening the veloz had the better transmission which is CVT more fuel efficient & smooth shifting but the advantage of Rush is it has the best high ground clearance of 220 mm.
I would rather have an automatic than a CVT. CVTs are whiny and always respond poorly.

Rush a bit under powered for a Rear wheel drive car (ok na ok). Though power is ok naman siya plus the ground clearance swak na swak sa Manila/Phil roads na pangit specially sa Manila area, plus mabaha, swak na swak Rush Gr-s ko haha

I totally agree na looks and preferences are very subjective topic when choosing for the right car for you. Looks and tech wise is win for the Veloz, but let's see how that so called advance tech holds in the future, so that I can have my doubts prove me wrong. 😅 You also forgot to mention yung tire dimension in each. Ready your Php100k + an electrical engineer fee rather than a mechanic once those bells and whistles tech na you never need in the first place fail.

The RWD & ladder frame will always be one of choice for classic drivers for ling term use, i my opinion.
Fuel efficiency is a very overrated calculations by so call "Experts on car" like Autodeal (they are always out of context on fuel efficiency. 😂. Ofcourse it always depends on everything (load, roads, driver habits, maintenance & etc) hahahaha 😂
