This review is one of the factor that sold me on the Xpander, it’s so easy to drive with awesome maneuverability, comfortable ride, good fuel consumption, and so much space! been driving it for almost a year now, so far so good😊👍

You have roughly described the dynamicas and driving sense of those very similar cars. But hats off for the rest of the review. You should have defined more on how they suffer to gain speed, wind noise and isolation, fabrics materials and transmission sound, the stability during cornering, braking power, etc... Safety wise Toyota is for me. I also visit our farm from time to time to check things out and that higher clearance prevents me from ruining the underbelly. I do go rough/off-road sometimes which is why it is a huge plus for me.. As a driver I am the defensive type. I tend to go slow when there is traffic and as fast as 90 kph only on open trafficless roads. It fits my personality. And lastly, its a Toyota king of reliability!! But that xpander is also worth to look at since I would prefer getting that if I live in the city and travels on pure concrete road only.
actually this is the most comprehensive review I've ever watched... I've been looking for this for quite some time, even from a youtube channel from indonesia (since this segment sells like hotcakes in that country)
In Malaysia the second national car company already rebadge the Rush to be Aruz and more cheaper than Rush. I already have one. And its already hit the road as one of the hot selling SUV. I really agreed with the review as Rush are not suitable for tall person.

All 3 have their selling points. Power and fuel efficiency for the BRV, Comfort and best space for Xpander and Safety and Ground Clearance for the Rush. Now if I will rank them, I would rank the Rush first then Xpander and last is the BRV.
Xpander owner here. It's our first family car and my husband loves driving it. The design and the space won me over the first time I saw it. We are from Baguio and our Pandoy never had any issues climbing up (don't know if I used the right term but I don't speak car language) steep roads. We have tried driving it with 7 passengers plus full luggage at the back up Naguilian Highway and up Long Long road with no problems. I am glad my husband and I made the right choice. Yun lang it took us a while, 4 mos before we got ours. Wala ng Xpander dito sa Baguio but good thing someone referred us to his car dealer in Laoag City. Bumiyahe pa kami from Baguio to Laoag to get our Pandoy-- and it was the last Xpander in Laoag during that time. So yes, it really is a hot commodity. Overall very happy kami ng asawa ko. Love the exterior design (such a head turner), the interior space, the performance and the price point (not too expensive).
Thank God I watched this video before buying a MPV! Our family decided to get the Xpander not only for its good look but also the space and comfort of the vehicle! Mitsubishi once again nailed this one. And btw, I am a Kia guy, I owned 1st and 3rd generation Sportage Diesels and I would say that Xpander is more fuel efficient compared to these two!
I am a Honda Fanboy, my wife is a Toyota loyalist, later on we decided to get a bigger car and just maintain 1 car. Just when we're about to get a BRV, Xpander got announced and we both got curious mainly on how it looks. We then got much into it and tried to be objective while doing comparisons. Of course we also looked in to Rush.. We test drive all and consider the most comfort, This review is spot on Xpander comfort driving. The telescopic steering wheel is really generous to put on wife loves it. Steering wheel so intuitive and soft to maneuver. and D' Cruise control, why cant all cars have it? Xpander has it even at lower end plus the back camera. And finally SPACE.. Just see it here. I think the take away is to be objective, or at least try to.. But I never had any regrets getting a BRV. Sobrang tipid sa gasolina and ganda ng performance. Also, maganda ung quality ng materyales na ginamit sa interior considering its price range. I am not a fan of Xpander's Interior materials, and Rush's interior overall...
Great review Sir Caco. You're the best. No more boring car reviews. I'm an Xpander owner for almost a mont now and before I bought it these three are my options. The reasons why I choose the Xpander are: Space - as seen in this review it has the class leading space. Price - I owned a GLS variant and at its price, considering the features it has, value for money. Look - it has a futuristic look. Not all may like it though, but I do. Plus I find its interior (specially the frontrow) more elegant with the piano black trim and leather warp steering wheel. Fuel economy - based on my actual experience I'm averaging 13Km/L mixed city & highway (50% medium-heavy city traffic, 50% highway @60Km/h). The 22km/l fuel efficiency as advertised is at Expressway driving (NLEX - TPLEX). I'm getting 15-16Km/L expressway driving @ 90km/h for a 30km drive. I think I need to drive it in SLEX to test the 22km/l.
This is, by far, the best (and most enjoyable) triple review I've seen here on YT. Thanks so much guys! I'm convinced even more to get the Xpander now. Keep up the good work!
I was torn between the BRV and the Rush. Eventually got the BRV. After trying it out at Star toll then hitting 120 to 140 kms/hr (loaded) with ease and averaging 15kms/ltr city&highway, I knew I made the right decision. My friend (5'10") was so surprised with the spacious seating capacity and comfortable ride - both loaded or with just 2 passengers . Also, its a Honda - quality, reliability and best resale value.
Waiting for TOYOTA agents and fanboys to attack this comment because of the last sentence "Also, its a Honda - quality, reliability and best resale value. " Uupo lng ako dito at manonood...
The CVT will give you good numbers on the highway since it enables the engine to produce lower RPM at high speeds. Just make sure to change CVT fluids every 20K kms for the CVT to last long.
We own a brv and for me its great, it can seat up to 8 people exceeding its 7seater limit plus luggage with no problem on the performance. Plus its fuel efficient
We’re in the midst of choosing and wow man! You are a breath of fresh air as far as getting these reviews out. Great job! This is a virtual test drive for us!!! Kudos! Keep it coming!
This is an excellent review. The buyer should choose what's suited for their needs and lifestyle. If you gonna use it for a little heavy loads and off road, the Rush is well suited for you. For it's high ground clearance and a rear wheel drive. For fuel economy and power, you go for the BRV. At 18 KPL is the most fuel efficient of the bunch. But, if you want driving comfort, bigger cabin space and a futuristic look, you go with the Xpander. Again, it's all up to the buyers. Cheers.
And the roads here in Mindanao is the worst. Those contractors do not have road safety or damage to vehicles as their priority...big deep holes can damage a low clearance vehicle, and there is that unseen small 3 to 4 inches straight deep cut across the middle of a newly made cemented road that can really give a bad thud when you go on high speed, those intentionally equipment made-holes on roads...In an out-of-town long trip, a pick-up or an SUV usually which high road clearance is ideal for me. That is what attracted me to Toyota Rush which have higher road clearance. Although, I would have loved a higher horsepower like BR-V, and those higher head room and quite engine of the Expander.
@@everslimsmith8907 Nakakalito ang RUSH at Xpander... Laking points ng ground clearance, pero ung xpander d daw matagtag at quite ang makina sa highway...
BR-V for me, take note the one they used here is the entry level BR-V, for price consideration, not much gadgets(push button start, less sockets and speakers) but it makes up in power output and fuel economy. Thanks autodeal.
Top of the line brv is priced 1.22m not 1.1m(where did you get ur numbers?)....montero glx manual at 1.380m...a 150k difference...less discounts....its almost fucking unfair...too bad for the brv.
I'm surprised and entertained to know that there is an awesome Filipino car reviewer who can be at par with the great clarkson, may and hammond. Keep up the excellent work,
Lahat yan maganda, wag na magtalo basta qng alin napupusuan un ang piliin...now we are happy to have rush no regret because this is our hearts chooice😁😁😁
This review was really helpful. Made me decide to buy the Toyota Rush 2 weeks ago. Absolutely no regrets. Safety is number 1. There was an accident that happened here in Cebu that involved the Xpander. Head on collision but the airbags didn't deploy.
@M H hey so far it’s doing great. Brought it to Davao City from Cebu because of Odette. Kayang kaya long drive. The only issue I have is the blind spot sa A-pillar because I installed a rain visor.
great review. but I'm leaning towards the rush here because of the ground clearance and the looks. flood prone areas will not be forgiving to those low ground clearance cars.
While the engine power and fuel efficiency of the BRV is impressive, and the high ground clearance, 6 airbags and exterior look of the Rush is attractive, I will likely go for the Xpander because of the cargo space. I'm an occasional biker and my mountain bikes will easily slide into the cabin with the 2nd and 3rd rows down. Like what Caco said, all 3 are great, it will boil down to what you need the car for. Thanks for this great review Autodeal!
Hi I'm from Malaysia. I really enjoy your video review. Everything from the video editing to the presentation is great. Hope you will continue to come out with more content especially on models that is marketed in ASEAN country which will bring bigger audience to your channel.
This channel is focused on models sold in the Philippines but I guess your idea is good and a new channel named "AutoDeal.com SEA" has to br created first.
Who wants and makes important rear wheel drive is, toyota rush may the choice.. But for the freshly look mini suv with different brand, xpander nice choice.. and its also has so much features than brv
Got an xpander, drives like a sedan, very comfortable and spacious, even the passengers on third row feels comfortable.. no problem on uphills, and have a lot of features... the best for me
@@rjquinto6816 6footer ako at malaki pa gap ng tuhod ko sa 3rd row ng brv. At hindi mo ba nakita sa video na brv ang may pinakamaluwag na 3rd row space compare to rush and Xpander? 6:35
For you to come up with this comparo speaks volumes of your capabilities of being a legit car review channel. More sponsors should come your way you guys.
Thank you for this video! Im about to pick up my Xpander Gls sports next week! And they really have a good review and evaluations so far., yes there are no perfect car for everybody but as long as your comfortable and just take good care of it.!! It really helps .! Again thank you.!! More power and God bless.!
Awesome comparo but it's going to have to be the Rush for me! That extra ground clearance could be useful with all the flooding, the bad condition of some roads, and plus you just can't beat 6 air bags (safety 1st). I'll soon be in the process of buying one for my family.
Lol wow insults? Really? You mad bro? If I were concerned with interior at all I wouldn't even be shopping in this segment.. All 3 are full of hard cheap plastics.
I drive a Toyota Rush, and while I do find it reliable thanks to the tall vertical clearance (I drive at rural areas at an almost regular basis, and it has proven to be useful), it feels sluggish. You need to push it to make it go fast.
you're my favorite youtube reviewer. Presentation with the right information and homegrown filipino humor that's why you have loyal fans like us. Keep it up!!! Will be awaiting more reviews.
I call these three the " Cross-MPV " category. 2WD seven-seater vehicles riding on a sedan platforms modified to have SUV-like ground clearance and styling for the price of a compact sedan. I like this concept. Stylish and affordable. They're all designed to have a purpose in each company's line up; to either replace their existing dull MPVs or to sway customers to pay an extra Php200k.
Good content. Hope that you can also include parts availability outside Casa. This is a very important to make that purchase decision on maintaining the car especially after warranty. This (parts availability outside Casa) info is a good indicator of resale value and if we can keep the car for over 1 dacade (or not). Thanks! 😊
You will not believe how spacious the Xpander is, with some minor adjustments 7 full grown adults can really fit with no discomfort. Hindi xa maalog unlike sa Rush and the design is superior compared sa brv. Plus lots of features you'd be surprised that is packed inside.
Dito sa tatlo BRV ako, I go for Power and Torque, plus pinaka tipid pa.
Literally the only reason why I'm still considering the Rush is because of its potential as a kickass sleeper thanks to it being rear-wheel drive. Slap a turbo onto it and watch it _Rush._
I like the way you think . That's the vehicle i'm considering as well now that i'm back in the philippines . I like it's truck like construction with a full frame and rear wheel .
Rush for me is a great choice, comes with a rear wheel drive, ground clearance is okey.. you can take it in a mild off road..and it is considered as entry level suv.
What I love most in rush is the ground clearance, 8speaker, 6airbags, back cam., 17 alloy wheel but the only thing bothered me is the engine sound its embarassing.😕
A ref? A personal ref maybe, yes. But anything bigger, it's supposed to be transported standing upright and not laying on its side. That's a big NO-NO.
Fair and honest review... No regrets for choosing my xpander almost a year now. Comfort of driving (CRUISE CONTROL, TILT and TELESCOPIC S. WHEEL, BACKUP CAM, SPACE and the steering wheel is to light you can even turn it using my your pinky finger), I don't Focus much on SPEED because only 100 KPH is allowable at Express way and xpander can easily do that, provincial road are to dangerous when you do 120KPH and above... after all it is family car not a race car. Whats important is it can bring me to the place I want With comfort you can still walk because your foot is not tired in pressing the accelerator. Everyone has different taste when it come to exterior but theres only one thing for sure... The Xpander is not boring to to look at. THE ONLY THING IDONT WANT TO XPANDER Is you have to wait too long for the unit.
actually boss sobrang tipid niya, nag pa full tank ako mga last 3 days 1/4 palang nabawas plus the fact na pwede pa pagkasayahin ang 7-8 dipende sa laki ng tao
Way back 3 years ago, this review has give me a decision to buy my Mitsubishi xpander. Thanks Caco for the review. It reach also a 2 Million views. Congrats
This is extremely comprehensive, I have no knowledge of cars and or driving but after this review, I'm dead-set on acquiring a Mits-Xpander brilliant 🏆 #mitsubishi #xpander #carsmart
I'd like to point out that they are comparing the top of the line versions of the 3. Sometime to save some money, its better to get the lower version if you don't fancy the extra features which hugely applies to the BR-V. Comparing the base variant to the modulo or Navi, the only difference is the keyless entry, gps and exterior designs. Now the main reason I brought this up is because of the base variant of the Rush, which is only a 5 seater meaning to have a 7 seat configuration, you need to get the top version. So comparing the 3 "7" seater mpv, the Toyota Rush is the most expensive followed by the BR-V thgen cheapest which is the Xpander.
1st time to watch these comparo and very satisfied great feats discussed no bias opinion and sure all are honest opinion and for now my vote is raise to xpander plan to get a family car choosing between xpander and rush.. thank u motodeal more power!
The Rush is the best looking, and more aggressive looking than other two. At first I thought is was the BR-V that looks better, but then realized the BR-V does not look as macho as a Mini SUV should be. RUSH for the win.
Great review buddy.. You explained everything in-detail. I own a Xpander since 2019. Amazing vehicle & doing great with Front Wheel Drive system specially slippery hill climbing. Cheers from Sri Lanka
This is really a great show! Very informative and great review! I do also like the justifications of why one deserves a review on each car. Really helped me a lot to decide which brand to buy! Thanks Auto Deal!
At first I was confused of what Caco means of it's more "planted", when I got my Xpander that's when i knew of what he means, Xpander is so fun to drive! the stability control and traction control is so good it's like you are driving a sports car, lapat na lapat ang gulong sa highway, you almost can't feel any roll when in a curved road, great job mitsubishi! i previously owned a honda accord 2000, and to those saying biased ang review ni caco ow common! do your own review and see for yourself!
great review 😊 i saw a part where they put 6 (or 7) people, what kind of road was this taken? since they already done that part i was hoping for 1. a side view on how each vehicle (rear shocks and rear suspension) handles full load 2. while fully loaded, how each vehicle behaves on a steep curve, with STOP then GO driving (which is common when its traffic in baguio) 3. we know its better (and wiser) not to cross floods, granted that they differ in wheel sizes and ride height, so.. how would each vehicles cabin - fare when they needed to cross a flood that is as high as their wheel size?
still waiting for my xpander unit to arrive, was seriously considering the rush kaso when I went inside the display unit sa showroom, was disappointed with the interior. kaya xpander agad. tho the best parin yung interior ng brv out of the 3.
randomVector yup totally agree with Rush interior. Brv and Xpander feels a lot more elegant. Rush interior design looks and feels cheap specially the dasboard. What a boring layout
veeeery good presenter. clear and snappy talking speed. nice pop culture references. no fake accent. color me impressed mr. tirona. iron shirt from shaolin soccer.
Im buying Toyota Rush because 1. safety, 2. Rwd 3. Easy to find Spare parts. Brv is very nice car indeed, but have doubt on their CVT transmission. Xpander really caught my eyes... very spacious, n futuristic design as well, its ok for fwd but it still not available in here. Too bad. Thanks for the video... keep up good work, appreciated it. From Bwn
BRV was the first car I checked. Then Rush and I even considered Ertiga. Eventually I bought the Xpander. Under 750km today, Xpander went to Baguio with me and my family on its 3rd day under my roof. Napasabak agad sa matatarik na streets ng Benguet. Value for money and on its 'quirks and features' Xpander was an obvious winner.
In that comparo, Monty won due to space, features (for the same price range), and performance. If anybody wants more features on the Forty, one has to pay more.
I've been watching reviews of these car from different channel since the day we decided to replace our MPV. Very informative reviews, great job Sir Caco. And I think Xpander will be a perfect fit car for my wife.
Excellent review Mr. Tirona... after all this time waiting for this review, and I got more than I asked for... So the Xpander it is... Thanks again! ;-)
imo the rush has the best looking exterior out of the three. but once you get inside you will persuaded by the xpander's interior you won't leave casa without making a reservation of the car. at least that's what we felt when we checked those 3 cars in metal
Because of this review i bought xpander and now happy owning one for my family.it is now a year and a half old.

Just got my Rush last month and Im so loving the drive, the design and the comfort😀
I have rush too and its almost perfect car for me except the engine sound its disturbing.😡
@@maryjaneserpajuan9842 Personally I don't mind the engine sound
Br-V best value for money. Powerful Engine and produces more torque in this car segment + resale value is at its best. 4 speed AT today is obsolete.
I have tried the 4 speed automatic before then comparing it now with the CVT, I must say CVT offers the most fuel efficient transmission. No regrets.
Cheers.
Dont forget about safety Rush have 6 airbags..
Although, I would have loved a higher horsepower like BR-V, and those higher head room and quite engine of the Expander.
ill choose rush.. body on frame, rear w.drive and 220 ground clearance...di mciado comfort.. pero suv tlga.
BR-V for me, take note the one they used here is the entry level BR-V, for price consideration, not much gadgets(push button start, less sockets and speakers) but it makes up in power output and fuel economy. Thanks autodeal.
Coz the top o the line BRV price range is comparable to the montero GLX...u dont want it to be compared with that baby.😉
bad joke there's no 1.1M Montero. :)
Op ang honda kc

@Neil Lin boss bukid part mi nagpuyo so mugmugon ra ang gas pasaka. 8kpl ko average. Naa sad rear camera ang rush nako.

great review. but I'm leaning towards the rush here because of the ground clearance and the looks. flood prone areas will not be forgiving to those low ground clearance cars.
congrats guys! i think this is your best video yet... keep it up! i think the XPANDER manual is the best value for money.
Rush
I would go for the best engine - power & fuel efficiency. Of course BRV!!
Brv is best in comfort efficiency and economy. The S variants are the best
I'm from Malaysia and the review is kind of entertaining and very informative too. Good job man!
I like this guy. He artfully describes the cons, pros and quirks of the cars he reviews. He isn't afraid of critizing specs and design cues.
Got an xpander, drives like a sedan, very comfortable and spacious, even the passengers on third row feels comfortable.. no problem on uphills, and have a lot of features... the best for me
I am thinking to buy it.. Do you still suggest xpander?
The best talaga ang autodeal
This is a 7-seater car. You need a powerful yet fuel efficient engine. Go for BRV. They have a higher variant with more safety features.
Maverick0427 - bata lang naman ang masasakay sa 3rd row seat dahil masikip.
RJ Quinto im 5’9 and I fit okay.
Your reviews are entertaining and on point. Cars are clean . Never dusty. Great camera shots and humour. Never boring.
I have been waiting for this. Thanks Autodeal.
Been waiting for this, THE REVIEW OF THE YEAR. Thanks autodeal!
Thanks! 😊
Hope isuzu release their own version of small suv
You will not believe how spacious the Xpander is, with some minor adjustments 7 full grown adults can really fit with no discomfort. Hindi xa maalog unlike sa Rush and the design is superior compared sa brv. Plus lots of features you'd be surprised that is packed inside.
And choose the Quartz White Pearl (even a bit expensive than other colors), the shadow from the lines will highlight the beauty of this underdog.
What I love most in rush is the ground clearance, 8speaker, 6airbags, back cam., 17 alloy wheel but the only thing bothered me is the engine sound its embarassing.😕
does it sound irritating? We’re planning for a rush next year
@@cyrenemagaso566 You definitely can hear the engine while driving. Personally, I'm not too bothered by it
XPANDER fun hear more futuristic style kulang nalang mag transform itong c xpander eh muka kc syang autobots.
J Tour muka siyang minivan
Just to add here, yung Xpander pwede ifold yung 2nd row seats if you want to fit a ref, table, chairs, etc.
THE ONLY THING IDONT WANT TO XPANDER Is you have to wait too long for the unit.
because of this review, I bought my own Mitsubishi Xpander GLS AT 💖💖💖
Just got a xpander last week and I love driving it
Congratulations sir. Sir, I'm just curious, how many days cguro ang p500 mo if you'll drive it around the city 1 times a day? Thanks.
actually boss sobrang tipid niya, nag pa full tank ako mga last 3 days 1/4 palang nabawas plus the fact na pwede pa pagkasayahin ang 7-8 dipende sa laki ng tao

Currently helping my dad decide, this is very informative.
Way back 3 years ago, this review has give me a decision to buy my Mitsubishi xpander. Thanks Caco for the review. It reach also a 2 Million views. Congrats
thanks for the Review ! Im gonna buy the BRV :)
This channel is highly under rated they show the best comparison with proper infographics and the review is super concise
This is extremely comprehensive, I have no knowledge of cars and or driving but after this review, I'm dead-set on acquiring a Mits-Xpander brilliant 🏆 #mitsubishi #xpander #carsmart
nice choice man.thats why i love watching your reviews.none bias and equal vehicle power points.👍
I would say this video gives us a detailed information, tried to look from different aspect and be objective. Keep it on!
DAMN! that editing skills bring up the hype!

I needed a affordable seven seater as a secondary car, decided to go with the facelift brv as its alot cheaper compared to the rush.
Yeah xpander got it all I’m excited to get new car! Thanks for great auto comparison love your explanation
The most requested and awaited review ❤️❤️❤️
The Rush is the best looking, and more aggressive looking than other two. At first I thought is was the BR-V that looks better, but then realized the BR-V does not look as macho as a Mini SUV should be. RUSH for the win.
I driven rush and expander, tested it, but at the end I ended up falling in love with BRV. Smooth ASF.

I would choose Toyota Rush. I like its design and im only using it going to work. Excited to have this next year.
Nakabili na ba sir.. musta experience..
ADS Relax iba nabili ko sir MUx hehe
At first I was confused of what Caco means of it's more "planted", when I got my Xpander that's when i knew of what he means, Xpander is so fun to drive! the stability control and traction control is so good it's like you are driving a sports car, lapat na lapat ang gulong sa highway, you almost can't feel any roll when in a curved road, great job mitsubishi! i previously owned a honda accord 2000, and to those saying biased ang review ni caco ow common! do your own review and see for yourself!
great review 😊 i saw a part where they put 6 (or 7) people, what kind of road was this taken? since they already done that part i was hoping for
1. a side view on how each vehicle (rear shocks and rear suspension) handles full load
2. while fully loaded, how each vehicle behaves on a steep curve, with STOP then GO driving (which is common when its traffic in baguio)
3. we know its better (and wiser) not to cross floods, granted that they differ in wheel sizes and ride height, so.. how would each vehicles cabin - fare when they needed to cross a flood that is as high as their wheel size?
still waiting for my xpander unit to arrive, was seriously considering the rush kaso when I went inside the display unit sa showroom, was disappointed with the interior.
kaya xpander agad. tho the best parin yung interior ng brv out of the 3.
randomVector yup totally agree with Rush interior. Brv and Xpander feels a lot more elegant. Rush interior design looks and feels cheap specially the dasboard. What a boring layout
Rush interior is so shitty. I totally agree with you!
And Xpander is way economical than Rush.
It has been 6 months. And I love driving it.

Now do the midsize SUV Terra,Everest,Montero Sport,Fortuner,MU-X
Karl Robles +trailblazer
Meron monty vs fortuner. Monty won this duel.
In that comparo, Monty won due to space, features (for the same price range), and performance. If anybody wants more features on the Forty, one has to pay more.

imo the rush has the best looking exterior out of the three. but once you get inside you will persuaded by the xpander's interior you won't leave casa without making a reservation of the car. at least that's what we felt when we checked those 3 cars in metal
