That's a good question. They are two different boats. The main difference is the Gypsy has a V hull and it's faster. The Rose is tremendously stable but slower. For the first time boat builder, the Rose probably would be a better selection. The Rose has an awesome plan set where the Gypsy sometimes leaves a little to the imagination.Both have good support by the designers .

What weight of glass and how many layers do you like to use? Do you glass the inside of the hull or just coat it in epoxy or a marine paint?
If you could have only one boat, the Gypsy or the Dianne’s Rose, which would you choose?
