I live 30 miles north of Orlando, and we have mangos, lemons, limes, bananas, pineapples, peppers (of all types), corn---you name it. Yes, they DO grow up here !!!

It’s interesting hearing different perspectives. Thank you for letting him explain his thoughts Paul. I keep the trees small but if you have the property letting them grow full size is awesome as well if you want to deal with picking the fruit.

What an inspiration 91! I like his old school wisdom, such as, if a tree is supposed to be 50 feet, let it be 50 feet. The ground is covered with ornamental peanut (yellow flower), a nitrogen fixer.

Wow. What a blessing. John looks amazing for his age. I think it’s because he is staying very active with with his passion. Paul keep the Central Florida Videos coming. My source for Mango List is getting bigger and bigger. Try to make your way to Merritt Island like Ensey Tropical Fruit. They too have a great Mango farm. They have older varieties but the mangos are great. Try their Tyler Mango and you will see what I mean. Again thank you for what you do for the Mango Community and safe travels.

I have a small lot so I prune my mango trees. I’m able to have more variety. I don’t get as much fruit, somewhere around 25 edible mangos per tree but I have a nice variety otherwise I would only have 3 big mango trees instead of 13

I like this man's attitude and this is how I'd like to retire - a balanced routine of fruit tree cultivation and maintenance. Doesn't seem so demanding - money grows on trees, but it aint self-harvesting. The rest will likely be permaculture ...the older you get, the more dangerous the processed food becomes.

What an inspiration, god bless him, at 91 he can run circles around some of the youth of today, climbing trees at 89 with a ladder! We love his comments to the hip doctor. Could you follow up on his trees he planted in West Palm, Paul? Were curious to see if they were left standing. Shout out to Josh, we have some of his giant Brazilian yellow passion fruits and they are doing good here in southwest Florida.

That's really sort of amazing he is able to do all that at his age. I had a neighbor across the alley who was still mowing her own lawn at 94. Did you say the video you did of his neighbor was Cody Cove Farm? Thanks man

Hey Paul, Shalom man, i got an interesting picture of a graphic that shows answers that could help with knowing what are truly the best planting distances with an experiment in spain with thousands of olives in a hectare and modifications on their numbers and how did they behave so definitely at least something to look and think for yourself what would work in your situation but i need an email or whatsapp to send you this since the yt platform doesnt allow for pictures, do you want it?
