Coming towards the end of my trip. What an amazing experience. Mostly the weather has been with me. Mostly my satnav worked ok. My bike was perfect and my cameras worked well. This was a commuting day but probably one of the best parts of my trip. Chinon to Normandy.

The hospitality of strangers is fantastic. Think the hosts you've met have definitely added to your enjoyment of the trip.
Looks like Carol and I bypassed some fabulous areas in rural France by doing the Autoroute on our last French visit

Definitely I have been very lucky. Elena in Spain and Christian in France were wonderful. Using your van is a good idea, I just didn’t have the option or time. I was lucky the way my hole trip went! Thank you Guys! 🏍️💨

Thanks bud. I visited a cafe just of the mulsanne straight before the big c hit, we saw lots of bikers there and thought lets stop and be sociable, we left there late at night, made us really welcome and had a great evening, and had trouble getting back into the hotel, they'd locked us out !! Lol ! I had to tap on another guests window to let us in ! 😂 good times.
Wish i'd known you were going over bud i'd have given you some ideas of what to visit, and of coarse the best places to stop for coffee are nearly always a boulagerie, coffee, cakes etc 😉
And using local roads too not boring motorways good job bud ! ATB. 👍🤙
