this procedure fixed my 2700 model... for 10 prints. It's very fast gone back to its old behaviour, after I spent 1 hour messing with it. Is there a way to prevent the mirror from getting dirty again while reassembling?
If you have cleaned the mirrors and you got fine print after that, you have to search for the problem somewhere else. Try with another drum and toner cartridges.
@@MrPrintGuyDIY ah okay, well I had changed drum and cartridge several times already, thinking that was the reason, obviously to no avail. Your tutorial was brilliant and I followed it step by step with my similar model, I did get a decent print right after I did the cleaning, but apparently there is some defect that lets dirt get inside the laser unit. I mean, if it got dirty in the first place, something must happen that makes that whitish dust deposit on the mirror.
I bet this is what is wrong with my Brother Laser printer. Thanks for posting!
Amazing, my problem. Thank you, Now I have to do it on my machine!
Good luck!

@@MrPrintGuyDIY you think the drum or the cartridge may let out the dirt that goes onto the mirror?
No. Once you have cleaned the mirrors you should get perfect printouts. I don't know the reason you get dirty mirrors again.
