You know what is better than having a swimming pool? Having a good friend that has a swimming pool.

My son used medical marijuana when he had brain cancer. They gave him 12 15 months to live and he lived 5 yrs and 4 mo. It gave his young sons the opportunity to have their father longer. They were newborn and one year old when he was diagnosed.

Breaking Bad was indeed filmed in New Mexico, but be warned that the lady who owns the house where Walt lived with his family is sick to death of people driving by and taking photos in front of her house. People used to toss pizza pies onto the roof, so can't say I totally blame her.

Truly believe that if you show up for taigating and wallked up to a group, introduced yourself, explained that you are from Europe, and asked if you could join them, almost all tailgaters would welcome you. They would feed you, give you beer, and try to explain football and their fandom. Don't be afraid to talk to strangers in the US. Most of the time people are more than willing to talk to you, give directions, talk up the best points in the town.

Memorial Day and Veterans Day are two different holidays. One remembers those that gave their life for our country. Veterans celebrates all vets.

  • @reindeer7752

People are giving you slightly inaccurate information about Memorial Day and Veterans' Day. Memorial Day was originally established to honor soldiers who died in the Civil War but has been extended to all wars. Veterans' Day is to honor all veterans, living or dead (whether they died in service or not).

Moose is both singular and plural. Ex: one moose; twelve moose.

I agree with you Andre, Shawn seems like a really good guy. But I think most of us on your channel would tell you that you seem like a really good person as well.

“Dour” is also a word known in American English which means: stern, harsh, obstinate, unyielding, gloomy, sullen

I have Britbox because yes, I love British mysteries. But the UK uses real people. The US only has perfect people on tv - people that have been surgically perfected. No one wakes up with perfect bed hair and makeup. Britain uses real people!

American kids start playing organized sports as early as 4 years old

  • @boroblueyes

He would have been welcomed at any of the tailgating groups when he went to the football game.

Veterans Day originated as Armistice Day, a holiday to celebrate the end of World War I on November 11, 1918.

I grew up on British shows in the 70s and 80s. The public broadcasting station always had British shows (i.e. Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Black Adder, Monty Python, Fawlty Towers) and then access to BBC America in the 2000s. I love British programs.

Omg. So "Outlander" is a series of books of thousands of pages, and several volumes. Watch it if you want to...but it won't compare to reading the books.

Memorial Day (the last Monday of May) is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

My German friends had their minds blown by my drive thru bank. And by the free refills.

That's what Canadian Wayne Gretzky did for ice hockey popularity in the U.S. We had hockey but he made it way more popular here. 😊
