      John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.
      Just close your eyes and say “Jesus, I don’t have faith in you, please help me believe” Jesus loves you, turn to Him before it is too late. He loves you so much that He died for you. I’m praying for you❤️🙏

    Jay, I'm 59 and totally get your approach. It's key to: HANG ON TO WHAT WE CAN. My main question would be. The people asking the question about forearm, size or up-and-down in weight. Are they your age or our age or older?
    My guess is probably not.
    I wouldn't worry about the critics. Constructive criticism has its place.I do prefer someone to "share their experience" with me as opposed to criticizing. Because many critics more often than not nonDOERS that sit around pontificating about how the DOERS are DOING
    It's easy to be a critic, but to be a doer requires effort and change.
    Keep it up jay!
    p.s. I lifted through the nineties, as i'm fifty nine, but i'm totally with you on that cruising is bullshit. And probably one of the reasons people are getting so. Messed up now period because they never allow their body to go back to homeostasis. Back to its natural state. I was taught by the guys in the ninety's blood work. Before you do ten to twelve weeks, then you wait, two months you do blood work again. There was bulking in the winter and then cutting for the summer. Always blood work Before & After to gauge things like the kidney, your PSAs and other markers.
    Fortunately, I don't have any major issues today. But then again I never had the genetics to really go on with my body. I just wanted to keep it looking good through my 30s. Forties fifties and hopefully sixties. Godspeed

    Swinging weights during workouts may provide some benefits, such as engaging additional muscle groups and increasing calorie burn. However, for building muscle effectively and safely, it's generally recommended to focus on controlled, proper form to target specific muscle groups. Swinging weights excessively can increase the risk of injury and may not optimize muscle growth. 🤔

    His forearms are not small, but the bracoradialis has atrophied over time. The technical term for this is Sarcopenia, which is inevitable as we age. Also common in older Bodybuilders, especially with long term tension issues & nerve damage being the main contributors. I like that he says that he is trying to hang on to what he has. 💪

    • @karllehel
      @karllehel Місяць тому +2

    • @sunandandas8231
      @sunandandas8231 Місяць тому

      Advanced people can use some degree of momentum. It is fine as long as you control the eccentric. Muscle is stronger during the eccentric phase. So, you use momentum to get the weight up (not exactly 'swinging up'), such as using a bit of upward body momentum in bent-over barbell row, but this then allows you to challenge your muscle more during the eccentric. Jay is as advanced in bodybuilding as it can get and he can maintain constant tension, mind-muscle connection and control all with that momentum. Beginners should train mostly with strict form. You can start to incorporate some momentum to get a few last reps or may be a couple of heavy sets here and there from an intermediate stage.

      There is a trick to what is happening in this method.
      To a beginner it would be easy to confuse really bad technique with what is going on.
      He is using a little bit of momentum to get it started but then locks it in during the range of motion he wants.
      This allows him to get a higher amount of weight on a muscle group during the desired range of motion than he would otherwise be able.
      He is stating his goals are maintenance and being lean now, nothing wrong with that.

  • @zsryann
