I just counted all the weapons in this game. With ALL attachments and the different sights combined, ALL of it concludes to 316 total weapons. Wow.

Yeah, but they really pay attention to detail when it comes to reloads, because when you take a half-empty mag and put in a new one, there's already bullets in there, so no need to prime it. Your character only primes when the mg is empty and u put in a new one. Details.
@@CQBlitz0 I’ll rephrase that for ya. When there is 1 or more bullets in the mag, you change the mag and don’t pull back the charging handle as there is already a bullet in the chamber!

@@CQBlitz0 pretty sure just about any FPS/shooting games I've ever played are like this though lol...slightly faster tactical reload if there's a round left in the chamber & slightly longer reload when fully empty due to requiring you pull the charging lever/handle. It's just realism compared to how real life firearms operate.

I think it uses stack mags & smaller bullet casings & the colour to help identify between the two in combat. From a lore-perspective.
maybe it's a third party company that made smaller bullets for the same magazine. So they wanted to repaint it.

Great vid. I really appreciate it that you sat down and showed us all of these weapons, in and out. You have my respect. I must have completely overlooked that there was a third Brute Plasma Rifle in the game lmao. And I had no idea that the idle animations for the Gravity Hammer and the Boltshot were so sick! But you did miss a couple of things. Firstly, the COG sights allow you highlight enemies when they come in your crosshair when using Smart-Link. It also displays their health and shields right next to the crosshair. And secondly, while the Appetite of Destruction has an extended magazine, it also has stabilization jets that greatly decrease the recoil. But aside from those, great vid

Yep, just chillin at home, making Halo 5 great, one gun at a time.
People can say what they want about H5, but the MP was great and the sound of the rocket launcher is devastating.
Besides all the varieties of loadout weapons and basic vehicles, i noticed how there was a pattern.
There are the standard varients, then types that are faster moving, quicker reload and extended magazines, and then the heavy, explosive varients.

Excalibur 4249 it feels so much more like cod with the weird movement like sprint speed and jet packs and thrusters and flying in mid air while aiming it feels so off doesn’t feel like halo and the art style doesn’t look like halo either the weapons like the BR which was a beautifully designed weapon and very militaristic like halo they changed it to a very odd looking and feeling sci-fi alien weapon that doesn’t relate to anything and same could be said for the spartan armor design, but it’s still a really really decent multiplayer

One thing I love about Halo 5: Guardians is the wide variety or weapons and vehicles, including the different versions of the UNSC, Covenant, and Promethean in-game vehicles/weapons. A handful of my faves are the Twin Jewels of Maethrillian Binary Rifle, the Vorpal Talon, the CE Magnum, the Halo 2 BR, the Blaze of Glory Shotgun, the original SPNKR RL, the normal Spartan Laser, the River of Light Incineration Cannon, Temple and Ultra Ghosts and Wraiths, the Anti-Air Wraith, and the ‘Scale of Soirapt’ Brute Plasma Rifle. How does a super soldier still have recoil? The regular humans armed with these guns I could understand but how tf does a spartan still have recoil? They should be able to control it better.

Halo 5 definitely deserves its credit where it's due. like almost any other halo game, it at least brought something good to the table and took the series to new heights. The weapons and its variants are a perfect example of that. Halo 5s whole sandbox is a damn improvement over any other Halo game. I also love it's multiplayer I used to play the fuck out of it lol

I don't really understand how removing smart link adds for balance.
It's not like one with a Gunfighter Magnum could one up someone with a Whispered Truth just because it has no smart link.
Echolyktuz the gunfighter magnum is not meant to be a primary weapon unlike the regular magnum. It's only purpose is cleanup, it has a very fast draw and can unload very quickly.
Having a magnum like that would easily be more powerful than a DMR, so it also has reduced damage and more recoil. 6 shots to kill, no smartlink, and added recoil. This solidifies it's status as a cleanup weapon
