Range Rover Sport L320 A-pillar repair using $20 repair kit

The black plastic A-pillar covers on range rovers have a habit of falling off after 10 years or so. This is because the plastic tabs on the inside of them fail. Its not too hard to replace them and the cost to replace clips on both sides should be around $20. I bought this kit from Atlantic British and although I only needed to repair one side I could have easily fixed both. If you do need to repair both you'll also need a extra couple of the small white clips but these are also available from.
You don't really need tools for this job but a plastic pry tool could help. Don't use metal tip as a wedge because its pained metal underneath.

Just a heads up, that is not the correct clip kit for the LR4 or 2010+ RRS, they updated the trim pieces and the new kit is LR077843. Comes with 5 in a package.
They are grey in color with a leg that points away from the seat.
