SICK. I hit up Vlad, prob gonna get these new beaters, I have been using OLD IC ones on mine and the felts are beat to hell! The new ones kinda have a similar vibe to the IC beaters I love.

I was there at your show in Bielsko, PL. You did a great job, despite CK needs some time to get used to how its behaving, some drummers are having problems when they switch to CK.
ahh nice, what a crazy night that was. it did take a few months to truly get comortable, but now i cant turn back. i think it would take some time with any change of pedal when doing high intensity double bass stuff
I played on ck pedals at a soundcheck at voodoo club in poland, too bad they didnt had any triggers or i played the whole show with em. It's like putting on your best shoes you have, but they're upgraded! Met some friends of Wladyslaw, send him a mail already 🙂

Hey Dan, love your work in Ne Obliviscaris. If you could, what's the distance from the center of the beater to the top of the hole where you insert the beater rod? I feel like I've been struggling with the beater swing of my Trick Dominators not being smooth. I'm also interested in those new CK beaters if I can find a way to get them! Cheers
I went from using trick pedals to these which i found second hand on ebay. Hands down the best pedals i have ever used. Its unfortunate and a major hassle to buy from the manufacturer cuz they wont ship to the U.S. Hopefully they can start selling to the states eventually cuz man i would love to have a practice pair and a road pair. Bonus points for coming with a traveler case shirt and drum key lanyard.

We decided that it has no sense to ship there and take a risk of court actions with TRICK - we are a small company and I am sure that you know how expensive such matters in the USA are and it really does not matter who has right, it is important who has a lot of money...”
From the email they send you after contacting them. They do however work with a 3rd party that can ship them to you.

Hey Dan, i play the axis A longboards myself and the trick dominators. i like the feel of the axis but the durability and settings from the trick pedals.

What’s the weight of the danmar beaters? I’m fairly curious to try them out and see how the feel
No Musical talent for me but as a former Journeyman Toolmaker/Machinist/prototyper/cnc guy these look like a great piece of shop work. Especially since they stay in adjustment, machine quality and design must be flawless.👍

Do you wear fresh dunlop volleys for each show or are you still on your original pair? Not sure if you wear through a pair or if they are invincible enough to withstand your punishment

so do these not use a bearing? how do you know you wont have the same issues? was it just wear and tear or lack of oiling on the pedals maybe? maybe you have spare bearings for these that you couldn't get for the old ones? you know what i mean
yes, the only pedal to have 2 sets of cased bearings. wear and tear sure, i never carried spare bearings, only a spare pedal
