Very good video. I have coached my daughter's soccer team in the past. As coach for the whole team, I didn't have time for one-on-one with my daughter. She was a below average striker, scoring just a couple goals for the entire season. I was supposed to be coach this season at a new league, but they made a mistake and before they could fix it, she was assigned to another coach. At first, she was bummed, but her new team coach is excellent and she and I decided to do one-on-one training, something we rarely did in the past. We pretty much did exactly what you talk about in this video and we would practice a particular skill a hundred times in one-on-one, where she would likely only be able to do that skill maybe 2-3 times in a team training session. Prior to her first game, we practiced her receiving a long, difficult pass, controlling it, dribbling through a defender and scoring. We did that 100 times the day before the first game. During the game, one of her midfielders kicked a long pass that went through a teamates legs. She controlled it, dribbled through two defenders, and scored the first goal of the season. The coach said to me that was an amazing, difficult maneuver. I told him that it really wasn't as she did it 100 times the day before. She has gone on to be the leading scorer on the team and has only one game without scoring, a game that ended 0-0.
Exactly! Thats why individual training is so important. You get many more repetitions which is critical for improving that technical skill! That’s awesome for your daughter! Congrats👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
not me scoring 60 goals in one season and 35 assists because of you man I appreciate it😂they said my team is not fair because I'm a mix of South African and Kazakhstan 😅❤
The one thing I would add to this is to differentiate between team training and one-on-one training. 1-1 training allows you to do one skill a hundred times, something you can't do in a team training session. If you don't have someone to 1-1 with, try to find someone, but if not, then improvise. Use a net rebounder to simulate passing and receiving passes. Use poles to simulate defenders. Use walls. The key is to do a single skill a hundred times and you will literally improve in 30 minutes what might take all season with just team training.
Absolutely! Individual training is very important for those reasons but I was just focusing about the quantity of training in general for this video. I would highly recommend doing individual training every day but sometimes it isn’t the best decision. For example the day of a game, the day after a tough game, or if you have school practice and club practice that evening too. It’s hard to quantify the specifics or individual and team training without knowing their club and school ball schedule. If you already have two practices a day, adding individual training on those days is a lot for some kids. I agree with you though on the importance of individual training! I’m just explaining why I didn’t differentiate between them for this. It’s more a piece of general advice that’s easy to follow, if that makes sense. Thank you for your comments! They are fantastic and have great information and advice in them!! 😁🫶🏼🫶🏼
Love your videos! I have a Question: I find myself good at dribbling and can get out of tight spaces. But I just can't find a good pass after that, any reasons why?
Thank you!! It could be several reasons, and I cannot know for sure without watching you play but here's my best advice. Before you receive the ball, you should know what your plan is with it. Here's why. If you're playing at a high level, passing lanes get cut off very quickly. A lot of times these passing lanes are available for a 1-touch pass or a quick 2-touch pass. But if you receive the ball, dribble, and then pick up your head to pass, the pass is no longer on. This happens all the time with skilled dribblers. You enjoy dribbling because it's fun and you're very good at it, but you need to understand it isn't always necessary. And sometimes it is really detrimental because passing is quicker. Right? You can't dribble 20 yards faster than you can pass it. That extra time it takes to dribble gives the defense more time to shift and get organized. Like I said I haven't seen you play so I can't know for certain, but my guess is that it is your instinct as a player to dribble when you receive it rather than pass. You should dribble when you're going 1v1, in lots of space, or have no options available. Otherwise, look to pass when you receive it, and you'll find it much easier to keep possession of the ball! I hope this helps! Fantastic question!! 😁🫶🏻🫶🏻

Like the reply said, you need to have a meeting with your coach and try to improve in the areas they think you need improvement. This exact thing happened to me when I was 16.. I was fresh off the back of a national championship with my club team and I was captain, played 90 every game. The coach left and I got stripped of captaincy and played 15 minutes max each game. I had all the meetings and conversations with the coach too… What I had to do was leave the club.. And that may be something you have to do too.. But have the meetings, explain your frustrations and ask about what you can do to be a consistent starter for the team. And if you can’t turn it around in the next year or so, you may want to consider moving on. Good luck🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hey dude can you make a video on how to train at home and adapt with bad field? Like fields in my country are so bad you just can't train. But even Maradona had trained on bad fields so why not me? Please make a training video for home and adapt in bad field
You can’t really. Movement off the ball is generally down to having a good tactical understanding of the game, awareness, and having the work rate to make runs and find pockets of space. So you can’t really work on it on your own. You can do research on your own, doing things like watching film or pro games though! You can work on your speed, acceleration, and ability to change directions quickly. There’s tons of information and tools for you online for that if you’re interested in doing that! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
Here’s my best advice, get your individual training, strength training, fitness, etc. done first thing in the morning. Then focus on your academics the rest of the day besides whatever team training you have in the afternoon or evenings. My best tip is to remove distractions. Move your phone out of the room or out of reach when you work on assignments. Every time you take a break and pick up your phone, you run the risk of getting stuck on your phone. But even if you put it down right away, you now have to re-focus and get locked in again on your studies. So you’re ruining your productivity. I hope these couple of tips help you out🙌🏼🙌🏼

Hey! My best advice is to continue to work on that on your own! Practice all your skill moves, by dribbling up to a set of cones, doing the move and bursting away. Focus on selling the move and making it as smooth as possible. Don’t be worried! That always happened to me. You’re just in the process of learning the move! The more and more you practice, the smoother and more fluid it gets! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
Hi,I am really struggling to progress in my dream to pro footballer,I am in a low division but I still struggling to play with confidence,I always care about getting good stats in a season is very important but I am still stuck with 0 goal contributions,I cared it so much I feel pressured and I feel pressured to play well each game so I can at least play some time, but I still manage to get half a game and I now slowly getting less game time.I don’t know what to do.I am U15 and plays at wing position
I used to feel pressured and have low confidence as well but what I’ve done to improve this past year was not only getting closer to my teammates but accepting that nobody will remember my performance after a couple days especially low division football. So whenever I make a bad decision I don’t get as embarrassed or upset like I used to but instead work on it and improve. You shouldn’t prioritize your seasons contributions but instead focus first on simple ways to help your team like improving passing/crossing, communication, and defending to create a chance it’s just the simple things you don’t have to learn a crazy move to improve but learn the best way to help your team win.
I understand what you’re going through. My best advice is to work really really hard at it and when you’re playing just try to relax and enjoy it. You’re very young. You’re adding a lot of pressure on yourself and it’s destroying your confidence. Continue down this path and you may end up losing your love for the game. For now, just focus on doing whatever you can to help your team win. Train and play hard, but enjoy it. The more you enjoy it, the more you’ll want to train and get better and better at it. I actually am working on a video on confidence that’ll be coming soon that’ll have even more advice to help you out. But it sounds like to me, you need to take the pressure off yourself and allow yourself to play freely. You’ll see an improvement in your performance as a result! I hope this helps🙌🏼
@@fernandoF69fantastic advice! The importance of being good friends with your teammates is extremely underrated. Having close relationships off the field can help you have a better understanding of each other on the field!
You want to do explosive strength training, plyometrics and lots of sprints. Things like hill sprints and parachute sprints are excellent. Pairing that with plyometrics and an explosive strength training program, you’ll get faster!
I recommend to learn also how to enjoy pain whenever I did speed drills I would always slow down when feeling tired but as time went on I realized what’s the point of slowing down when I’m tired when I should be instead pushing myself when being tired. Hi. I'm 12 years old and my best skills is passing, me with my friend are the best on our group stage but my club doestn't have 13 - 14 years old group. We live in the small town im Poland and to club to Play on first division of Poland we have to drive 1 hour so we can't do it. What i have do to in this situation
My best advice is to either try to get on the other team that’s 1 hour away, and hope that you can take public transport or something like that to get you to and from training.. your other option it to try and get your current club to create a team for your age group. Best of luck 🤞🏼🤞🏼
If you’re training alone I highly recommend not working on those areas, even if they are weaknesses of your game. It is very difficult and ineffective to work on those skills on your own… Your time is better used working on offensive technical skills. Now if this is a problem area for you, try to train as much as possible with a partner or a small group because then you CAN effectively improve in these areas. My advice is to focus on your defending when at team training, and continue to focus on your technical ability when you can only train by yourself. I know this isn’t what you wanted to hear but it’s the reality of the situation and I hope it helps!😁🫶🏼🫶🏼
@@KreiderAcademyHello,I'd like to address my weaknesses as well; The things that I lack in are my strength,I've recently lost my sturdiness (as in dribbling/sprinting),and have developed cramps for school matches. How do I restore myself as a player?
@@JujusFailure If strength is an issue, you need to do resistance training of some kind. Obviously going to a gym is best case scenario but if you don’t have that, you can do things like put heavy books in a bag and use that as a weight. You should also work on your core. This will help you be a stronger player, and fix your sturdiness issue you have when dribbling or sprinting. Cramps could be due to a few things. One of these is that you aren’t fit enough. Another thing could be a lack of hydration, or you’re not consuming enough salt. Only you will know what the cause of the problem is since I don’t know you as a player. But if you’re fit and drink lots of water, then low salt consumption is the problem! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

I probably can’t make a video on that for a while since I have several other videos already in production.. but here’s my best advice. Like you said, many of the best players ever trained on bad fields or environments. What got them to the top is their love of the game. No matter your circumstances you can achieve whatever your goals are. As for technical advice, allow more space in between cones or drills for inconsistencies in the field so that way you can get the ball back under control and continue to dribble. As opposed to viewing your situation as a negative thing, view it as a challenge. The bad field makes it more challenging to do even simple drills. So now you have a built in way to challenge yourself! It’ll help you grow, and become a better player who is more able to adapt to fields even they aren’t the best! Just let your love and passion for the game come out and push you!! Good luck and I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

What I had to do was leave the club.. And that may be something you have to do too.. But have the meetings, explain your frustrations and ask about what you can do to be a consistent starter for the team. And if you can’t turn it around in the next year or so, you may want to consider moving on. Good luck🙌🏼🙌🏼

I am type 2. my strength is movement off the ball, how can I sharpen that when training individually?
You can’t really. Movement off the ball is generally down to having a good tactical understanding of the game, awareness, and having the work rate to make runs and find pockets of space. So you can’t really work on it on your own. You can do research on your own, doing things like watching film or pro games though!
You can work on your speed, acceleration, and ability to change directions quickly. There’s tons of information and tools for you online for that if you’re interested in doing that! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

mate i need some advice on how to manage football and studies
Here’s my best advice, get your individual training, strength training, fitness, etc. done first thing in the morning. Then focus on your academics the rest of the day besides whatever team training you have in the afternoon or evenings.
My best tip is to remove distractions. Move your phone out of the room or out of reach when you work on assignments. Every time you take a break and pick up your phone, you run the risk of getting stuck on your phone. But even if you put it down right away, you now have to re-focus and get locked in again on your studies. So you’re ruining your productivity. I hope these couple of tips help you out🙌🏼🙌🏼
@@KreiderAcademy I was bouta ask that, because The only days I can play football are saturday and sunday/
@@KingKind211 I hope that advice helps you out😁👍🏼
@@KingKind211idk where you are from but I have 3 AP classes and have to do hw for at least 2 hours a day at least but I always try to focus on finish as much as homework in school and taking advantage of lunch to finish my hw so when I get home I do hw for a hour or so and go to the park around 5pm and train for at least 5 or 4 hours almost every day
@@fernandoF69 5 to 4 hours is actually a lot but my parents wont let me play at night, I live in bronx and itskinda dangerous during night, I dont really take any Ap's as Im a freshman. Also, The park I go to would be closed off since its used by my former middle school for after school
I feel like i cannot perform my skills more fluid anymkre and i feel more stiff what should i do

Having close relationships off the field can help you have a better understanding of each other on the field!

how can i improve speed ?
You want to do explosive strength training, plyometrics and lots of sprints. Things like hill sprints and parachute sprints are excellent. Pairing that with plyometrics and an explosive strength training program, you’ll get faster!
I recommend to learn also how to enjoy pain whenever I did speed drills I would always slow down when feeling tired but as time went on I realized what’s the point of slowing down when I’m tired when I should be instead pushing myself when being tired. If you are in high school I recommend joining track I joined track and learned a lot about running
Hi. I'm 12 years old and my best skills is passing, me with my friend are the best on our group stage but my club doestn't have 13 - 14 years old group. We live in the small town im Poland and to club to Play on first division of Poland we have to drive 1 hour so we can't do it. What i have do to in this situation
well, can you take a bus? or reach out to other players or coaches to help you?
My best advice is to either try to get on the other team that’s 1 hour away, and hope that you can take public transport or something like that to get you to and from training.. your other option it to try and get your current club to create a team for your age group. Best of luck 🤞🏼🤞🏼
@anikk6 but i don't have a bus to this city. I have train but its start at 9 AM and second start at 8 pm

What if not good at pressing , tackling, 1v1 defending, how to train alone
@@KreiderAcademyHello,I'd like to address my weaknesses as well;
The things that I lack in are my strength,I've recently lost my sturdiness (as in dribbling/sprinting),and have developed cramps for school matches.
Thanks for the tips!
