Hamilton family remains united after two fires damage household

A fire caused extensive damage to a home on Hamilton’s West Mountain overnight, but instead of turning into a tragedy just days before Christmas, the fire has brought together a Hamilton family determined to overcome this potential catastrophe.
Dave Williams is the homeowner whose house caught fire not once, but twice during the night.
He says he has survived tough times before and will survive this one with the support of his family.
The fire department suspects the fire may have been caused by electrical issues. Dave had electrical work done in the affected area earlier this year.
Initial damage estimates range from $200,000 to $1 million, depending on how much of the house can be salvaged.
Despite everything, the Williams family remains united and determined to rebuild.
