@@MrHarleynut that’s was the original red for 1956 Chevy only. But that Engine is long gone. I actually just posted a video on if I should switch it up and go back to a stock look. I am running a steel blue with dual quads now. Thanks for your kind words.
@@timwelch175 lol. That little sucker was rebuilt by a guy in Redding Ca and it puts out 90 amps. Which is more than enough for that car. I get lots of questions at car shows about that little thing.
@ I have no idea what it originally was on. My Dad had it on his Nomad. It was getting red hot so he pulled it and gave it to a guy to rebuild. In the meantime we put an LS in the Nomad so when the alt was done I put it on my wagon. It’s been on for about 4 years now with no issues.
@@GeradBarron has and electric fan. Runs very cool in the heat. The air cleaner is off a C3 Corvette. I just painted the snorkels 1956 Chevy red and added the 283 sticker.

@@paulpasternak2026 I was going to add a different mount but my rams horns have the bracket on them so I would have to cut it off and recoat the manifold and just haven’t tackled that project yet. The wagon does have a totally different engine in it now. Go check out some of my videos I show the new dual quad engine.
@@dougchandler8476 probably! It’s now on a 355 with a 268 comp flat tap cam so it doesn’t see that RPM ever!!! I run that setup on a 283 and now a 355 and never lost a belt in over 5 years, so I think I am good!

Chrome alternators retain heat and fail ,so I don't have any on my vehicles.

That bracket is guaranteed to shit a belt above 7000rpm
