Times have changed, in '76 while my parents were in Mexico on vacation I tore my 327 apart, installed a cam, headers and intake. this was before the interweb and youtube, I spent days at the public library researching what to do. Today I have a stock Bronco v6 twin turbo 3.0 (181 cu in.) with 420HP & 440Torque.
@@UncleFjester your talking about the Chiltons manual, smoky’s how to hot rod a SBC or wait what issue of car craft did I see that in!!!! Those days are long gone sir. I kinda mis those days. No wait I really mis those days.
You are really pumping out the videos, that will definitely get your subscribers up, plus they are really good too , I like how you always ask for the viewers to chime in on the comments, I think I will do more of that, yeah I like the exhaust on the 56 , I had HP2’s on my 55 right after I put the new 350 in but changed to the turbo muffler, both are really nice but I’m leaning on going back to the HP2 Flowmaster, have a nice night , it’s 11:35 pm here on the 31st so the fireworks or going pretty good, pretty awesome this is the last video I will watch in 2024😀😀
So , whats the story on the Chevy II in the thumbnail ? After having owned ten of the little devils , I'm way too familiar with that sight . Happy New Year !
@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 well UA-cam says to put a very catchy picture in the thumbnail and It was not letting me put a picture of my 55 or 56 small block because the file was to big. I had a smaller file picture on my phone of my 283 out of my 1964 nova and the topic was about the popularity of SBC so I used that picture. Of course my video are being viewed by sharp people like yourself and do not miss a single detail. That’s awesome!!!! Also I didn’t want to put on my bunny slippers and run out to the shop because it was 26 degrees. So since the topic was SBC I used a SBC. I have also had many Nova’s. My first car ended up being a 1971 Nova even after a year search for a 55 Chevy. My brother first car was a 1964 Nova. I had many since then also. Great eye and thank you for the comment!!!
@@ridingmowerking I was going to do that. I was going to have TomCat paint it on like the door art so if I want to take it off down the road. Yes great idea. Thanks for your interaction with the channel.
Seriously considering pulling the headers off my '56 210, and putting on some rams horns. Speedway did a dyno between headers and rams horns, you loose about 20. Acceptable loss.
@@davehefterich3760 well I did just that. I never had the wagon on the drag strip but the seat of the pants I felt zero difference. I took the speedway rams horns and ported them. I also smoothed out all the sharp edges. I didn’t hog them but really cleaned them up. I couldn’t be happier. I did this around 2020. I have 2.5 inch with the H pipe and Black widow Race venom mufflers at the rear end. Now my 55 has big coated headers. But that car sees the drag strip. Those headers are always loose and drama. But I want everything I can get out of that engine. I hoped this helps in your decision.
