    Good video Huntergt.. I have a new one in the box myself I havent played with it yet, I am glad to see it has cache mode. Fishers advertising on the 75+ doesn't say anything about cache mode so I assumed it didn't until your video. Thanks

      Thanks MJ! I was unsure myself to be honest. I know their product flyer for it did not include cache...but it definitely has it. It's def a LTD 2 with all the features. Hell of a deal.

    I love my F75 LTD SE! If you didn’t know the boost mode and cache mode transfers over to all metal mode and enhances its performance. It’s says so in the users manual and I asked Kelly Co. You don’t need to swing slow in boost mode using all metal mode but you do need to sweep slow using cache mode when you’re in all metal mode. Just set discrimination mode side first then switch over to all metal mode and it almost doubles all metal mode performance. Air test and verify for yourself. Other settings like default or fast mode or jewelry doesn’t transfer over to enhance all metal mode. This information is on page 22 and 23 of the users manual. As you start to read each discrimination mode. You’ll noticed boost process cache locating process at the bottom of the paragraph says... when the boost mode is selected the response characteristics of the all metal mode are also modified (meaning boosted or enhanced) these characters include less noise and slow response speed. Because now its searching ultra deep and so it responds a little slow. You don’t need to sweep slow in boost mode but you do when you use cache mode. Regardless if you are using them on discrimination side and/or on all metal mode. If you select one of these options and go back to all metal mode they are enhanced if you use any other setting like default or bottlecap or jewelry then it goes back to lower performance or default.
    Also if you haven’t upgraded to larger 15” inch fisher coil you should. I purchased the larger 15” inch fisher coil for my F75 LTD SE and I can hit quarters over 20” inches deep! Man hole cover or 55 gallon drum amount of metal is 2 meters or 6 feet on stock 11” inch coil... However the larger 15” inch fisher coil will hit same amount of metal over three meters or 10 feet deep! So if you haven’t then you should upgrade the coil. Always run max sensitivity...

    You did a great job with this video, you took your time and explained everything concisely, I made the mistake of ordering the standard F75, and it arrived yesterday, I guess I should have done more research before buying it, luckily with Amazon there was no problem returning it today, and I went ahead and purchased this one, F-75+ which still includes the pin pointer and digger, and for the $649 it was a bargain (considering the F-pulse is $130, and probably $20 for the digger) where as the standard F75 is around $549 and comes with no goodies and no Boost or Cache mode. I live in Riverside, Ca. by the way. Cheers bruh. Great job!!

      @@thehuntergt Hi, I got my F75+ and I believe I found a typo in my users manual, not a big deal at all, I just want to see if your Manual also has this typo, it's on page 19, literally the last word on the bottom of the page, "featuotly" I believe they meant to write 'Feature' because the word 'featuotly' is not a word in the English dictionary. It's really not even close to the way feature is spelled, I assume that's what they meant. The proof reader must have been asleep when they okayed it for printing. I love the detector, thanks again for doing a great video on it.

    Hey GT, will this machine pick up small gold like the gold bug pro (like I use) with the 5" coil I guess you can use the 5" coil on the F75. Do you have to reset everything every time you turn it off then back on. Is this unit water proof. If you haven't made your second video yet please cover all this in your next video. Thanks

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  6 років тому

      Heya TRP! Not waterproof....will pick up very small gold. It will not swap the same 5in coil as the Gold Bug, but does have one available for it. I would say the Gold Bug is slightly more sensitive to small gold....but not by much. F75 remembers the setting each time you turn it off/on.

    Good Review Hunter.. I have a question.. are the LTD’s going to continue to sell at $799. When this is the same detector, all the same features (minus the black paint) and comes with the new F Pulse for $650?.

      @thehuntergt  6 років тому

    Hi HunterGT ! Welcome back , long time no see.
    Have you much hunting time with the F75 ? How does it compare to its cousin the T2 ?
    The only thing i dont care for is everything on the screen's kinda small.

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  6 років тому +1

      Heya Bob! Good to be back. I have not had a chance to hunt with this one yet. Although I did use a red F75 while in Texas touring the factory. It was a special edition they had. I did not mesh well with it then, but could tell it was top of the food chain at the time. Biggest difference is where iron breaks...40 on the T2...15 on the F75. F75 also has notch...a backlight...remembers settings. They are both 13khz and very similar with their latest "LTD" incarnations. My T2 is a Classic without DST....so is a little more chatty that this PLUS version with DST. Both air test identical.
      GV650 has some good info. Tom Dankowski is the man when it comes to the F75. Probably knows it better than just about anybody. However, he is also a jewelry hunter at heart. I personally would never set my disc that low and run monotone in a park or relic site....but that is just me. The settings he provides do "open it up" so to speak...but would drive me to mental fatigue quickly.

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  6 років тому

      GV650 Yeah monotone definitely takes some mental prep at trashy sites. Not an all day event for sure. The Gamma is the only Teknetics detector I have yet to lay my hands on. I always hear good things about it.

    • @googleuser1456

      I don't think the screen or it's contents are small. I have the T2+ now and was surprised at how large the screen was because on the videos I watched it looks small. The vdi #s are twice the size of my At Gold's #s . The screen size is about like At Gold's or Pro wide at the top and gets wider going down and about 2.5 times longer vertically. You will be surprised too I think when you see it real life.

    Hey Hunter, does this mean your gonna give up classic for the f75?

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  6 років тому +2

      I'm thinking about it Mark. This DST version runs so smooth with BP that it will probably become my new primary from what I have seen so far. I have not tried the T2+ or the LTD just yet....so that may sway me back over. Decision decisions.
