    Sir, how did we specify that the fuel will be injected from a particular corner? In solution animation in mesh display the axis, wall are not showing after clicking display, what should I do?

    Hey i get a floating point exception following the exact tutorials. The reason is one of the values is being initialized to a very high value. Can you please suggest what could drive this?

    Hi. May I know, is it possible to measure the spray angle in the fluent?

    • @EngineeringNature
      @EngineeringNature  3 роки тому +2

      No we can not measured spray angle with Fluent directly, but one can take the spray images with all dimentional information and can use any graphical tool for measuring the spray angle.
      Regards.

    Hi! Is there a way to contact you? So you can get me some advice in a experiment with the DPM model?

    Sir, I want to study penetration length at different pressures, if so how can one get the mass flow rate at different pressures?

    • @EngineeringNature
      @EngineeringNature  3 роки тому

      It is not that easy to get mass flow rate at particular injection pressure.
      (1) You can referred published work where they might be provide mass flow rate at given pressure.
      (2) You can run simple simulation , flow through orifice and calculate mass flow rate at that injection pressure.
      You can referred my tutorial fo find out mass flow rate through nozzle👍

    I follow those steps as per the video.. But i can't get the output.. Nothing is created inside my geometry.

      You should ensure unit ( meter and milimeter) during data inputs

    hello sir.
    I'm doubted this tutorial can activate interaction with continuous phase?
    and will it have a differect result?
    best regards.

    • @EngineeringNature
      @EngineeringNature  3 роки тому +2

      If you unable interaction of injected particle with the continue pahse , it definitely affect the spray pattern. I will try to post tutorial by considering that case to understand the difference 👍

      @thippeswamyv2254 2 роки тому

      Yes, when you have interaction with continuous phase, particle velocity will change due momentum transfer with sorrounding fluid

    I wonder how can I simulate injection of diesel in to a flowing water channel

    • @EngineeringNature
      @EngineeringNature  3 роки тому

      You should unable the particle interaction with continues phase, which is water in your case. You can fill the domain with water prior to injection, through operation conditions.
      Regards.

    How can check the pressure for this given system?
    and how to change it to obtain the variable results?

    • @EngineeringNature
      @EngineeringNature  2 роки тому

      The default pressure for fluid domain is to be considered 1 atm. You should use adapt region and patch pressure value during initialize the problem solution. Regards.

      So i need to assign pressure values in inlet boundary conditions isn't it?

    Hello sir, instead of adding virtual plain-orifice model, I want make my own orifice geometry and estimate the droplet diameter using appropriate breakup model.
    Is there anyway to do this?
    I was trying VoF to DPM transition but I couldn't get result
    Thank you!
