Hi Lynn. Oh I do love a declutter video. You’ve got so many beautiful clothes and well done getting rid of 15 tops. I do that with the coat hangers too I turn them the opposite way once I’ve worn them then I know after 6 months what to get rid of. I never knew that about the clothing bins. How disgusting putting dirty nappies in them some people are just a disgrace. Thank you for telling us. You have definitely motivated me to do my wardrobe again but because we have moved house I’ve so many things to go through and don’t know where to start 😂. I’m struggling with storage in the new house and it’s getting me down as I like things organised but will get there. Thank you for your video. Have a lovely weekend ❤💕💕
Thank you Sandra, I e never done the coat hanger thing before so I’m hoping it helps me too. I’ve also been told that some people take dirty things to the charity shops, it’s disgusting. 🤢 it’s such hard work when you move house, it a really good opportunity to declutter, you’ll get there eventually Sandra… have a lovely week ❤️❤️❤️
It definitely helps doing to coat hanger thing as long as you can be ruthless. Sometimes I hold onto something just in case 🙈. I hope it helps you Lynn. Yes we will get there thank you ❤️💕💕
Oh Lynn well done again. Just wondered if your hubby ever comments on your collection, lol. Mine just says 'where did you get that' and I say, 'its been in my wardrobe for ages' How many other watchers say the same thing. Take care. x

Sometimes I say the same as you Milly, but nowadays he knows I bring things home to show on UA-cam, so he’s kinda got used to it. He does say that he doesn’t know how I fit it all in the wardrobe 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Lynn good declutter. It's great when it's done. I did mine awhile ago, also l love those velvet hangers. Al l my clothes are on them, and l will be starting to change all my husbands clothes to them. That's shocking about those charity bins, some people are discusting. Thanks Lynn take care much love❤❤
Oh it is Marilyn, I’ll keep going now till I’ve done all the rails and drawers. It’s not a nice story to share but I just wanted people to be aware of it. It’s a very sad state of affairs ❤️❤️❤️
Lynn, the Tesco i work at has a cage at the front door for clothing to be recycled/reused. I assume all Tescos will have it. It gets emptied daily and collected weekly. Just a thought, seeing as you visit Tesco on a regular basis!! x

I’m the same Kim, I absolutely love it when I’ve decluttered and everything is organised, I feel so good about it. I just wish I’d got all the same coloured hangers, I may have to do that or at least use the same coloured hangers on the same rail lol, I think I may be a bit OCD xx
@@Nanna-M I'm the same, I use the different coloured coat hangers in different wardrobes. The coat cupboard has black hangers, my work uniform wardrobe has pink, the rest has grey xx

I’m not too bad with a polyester mix, but that awful nylon type stuff just makes me too hot and uncomfortable. It’s horrid. Isn’t it a shame for the bins though, shocking behaviour ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve a planet fine knit long cardigan/coat, black, bought in a charity shop 20 yrs ago, I would never give that one up… classic
I’ve also got a red trench coat that I wore when I was pregnant with my youngest, he’s nearly 40 now… that’s what I call vintage 😂 but I don’t wear it as a kiddy once called me Mrs Santa Claus, 😂😂 take care big hugs xx❤
Oh there will always be those classics Kristine won’t there, now I would definitely be wearing the trench coat, they never go out of fashion, Santa Claus or no Santa Claus hahahaha. If only we had the room to keep everything, it always comes round again eventually. If I had a warehouse I would be able to shop to fill it hahaha. 🤣 it’s just my thing, I’m not particularly bothered about much else, I like a nice home, and I like comfy shoes nowadays, but I don’t go mad on much so I enjoy buying new clothes and passing my declutter stuff on to someone else. Hi Lynn, another great declutter 👏 you inspired me last week to do a declutter and sort my wardrobe out. There truly are some disgusting people out there. I always take my bags into the charity shop as ive seen the bins overflowing and bags of rubbish just tossed there as well 😡 boils my blood. You have beautiful clothes and looking fabulous. Maybe its my imagination but im sure you put your mums cardigan back in the wardrobe with the old coat hanger 🤔 im impressed with those hangers and going to order some as it makes everything so uniform hanging together. I've booked a cruise for next year with my 2 sister's and i need to take a leaf out your book and lose weight 🙏 take care lovely lady and have a good week. ❤❤❤
Aw I’m glad you were motivated, it certainly does feel,good once it’s done. I can’t believe that people can be so cruel as to do such vile things, I’ve seen the bins overflowing myself, and people leave bags on the floor, even when it’s raining. It’s an outright disgrace. Yes I did, my mind went in a fog for a second, it’s been changed now, her cardi sits on a nice new hanger. Try the IF Sandra, it’s helped me no end. A cruise sounds wonderful, especially with family ❤️❤️❤️

Oh the fact that they are thinner is a real bonus, and the wardrobe looks so much tidier. I have so many summer vest tops, it’s ridiculous, Joanne came for tea last night and she wanted to borrow a couple of things for her holiday, she goes on Friday, she was laughing at all my vest tops lol. We’re stuck inside because of the cold, so might as well get some decluttering done ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn, it’s good that you are inspiring viewers (me included) to sort clothes and other items out. You mentioned about getting some velvet hangers from Amazon which is where I usually get mine. I get both shirt hangers, and trouser type hanger with the bar across as you have as I like to hang my tops on the shirt hangers (they are lighter and take a bit less room), and jackets and trousers on the type you have. A couple of tips: not all velvet hangers allow the hook to be rotated (on Amazon it mentions about 360deg swivel type) and if you twist the non swivel ones the hooks breaks out of the top. Also I usually get the trouser type with a small bar just under the hook area as I find this makes the hanger a bit stronger. Plus some are a bigger size than others (I get the 42” ones, only about 1” less than others but neater and better for trousers). The larger ones are ok for coats. I often file invoices for a while, and recently checked how many velvet hangers I had ordered from Amazon - could not believe the total - 450! I do live between two homes and some at one house have no clothes on, as yet, just bought to go in a newly decorated bedroom to match the colour scheme - but really! Another tip is be careful if you are using them if you are short of time, or in a bad mood, as they do break quite easily, and won’t stand up to being ‘yanked’! This winter I have bought fewer clothes than before, as I realise I have so many not worn. You did well to say goodbye to so many tops in this video. I’m glad you held onto the navy cardigan which was entwined with memories. Thanks for filming the video.
I’ll definitely change all mine eventually, I don’t like the plastic ones at all. Well you’ve told me something that I didn’t know there Hazel, I thought they all swivelled so I’ll have to watch out for that. I’ll pop over to Amazon and see if I can find those trousers ones, they sound interesting. Wow Hazel, you have to places to keep clothes, how lucky are you. And all matching as well, that’s fabulous….thanks for the heads up, I’m usually very careful, but it’s good to be aware that they can be a bit flimsy. I need to replace some of mine with the weight loss, but I’m trying to be mindful, and a bit more selective, it doesn’t always work out though hahaha. Hi Lynn , thank you for the telling us about the bins at the supermarket etc I have occasionally put stuff in them but usually take them to our local hospice shop. My friend volunteers in the charity shop and I was shocked to learn how many people steal from them ,sometimes they try things on in the little changing room and leave behind the empty hangers.
I've been swapping plastic hangers for the velvet ones, they keep things from sliding off and take up less space as well as looking neat 😊. Keep up the good work and have a great week ❤xx

I dont have summer and winter clothes together not enough room so i put them away and declutter when i change over for the seasons, those velvet coat hangers are really good for slippy blouses, take care😊❤❤❤

A few months ago I bought some of those hangers but I only replace the plastic one when I am putting the clothes back in the wardrobe..so next time I have a sort out I'll know which clothes I've worn x

Many years ago our main stores here had Christmas trees in them and there would be gift cards hanging on them. Customers were encouraged to buy a gift for children, wrap them and then write on the cards the age you think the gift you purchased would suit. The gift would be placed under the tree and then the store would donate them to children in need. Unfortunately discussing people would wrap soiled nappies, dirty cloths and rubbish. So the stores stopped putting the trees out.
The same happened with the charity bins so now they have been removed and if you want to donate you have to go to the charity shop and hand them to the volunteer workers. So unfortunately there are lowlife people everywhere. Very sad!
You were donating some lovely tops, Lynn. Who ever buys from the charity shops near you will be very lucky ladies.
Britain is really getting some dreadful weather at the moment, hope it will improve soon, take care and try to stay warm.💕
That story has really made me sad, how can people be so cruel, I just can’t comprehend such evil behaviour. People try to do a nice charitable thing for children less fortunate, and these evil people do such disgusting things, I’m astounded.

Hello lin,that cardigan that was your mums,there are people who would make you a teddy out off it to remember your mum,instead off just keeping it in your wardrobe. There called memory bears. It’s a lovely thing to do.

Lynn you have some gorgeous clothes. I saw something on the news today about the 2nd hand clothes market and someone said that hospices rely a lot on their charity shops for funding. In future I shall donate to hospice shops. As far as charity bins are concerned that is disgusting that people do that, but it doesn't surprise me. ❤

One of my grandsons proposed to his girlfriend this weekend with a beautiful ring and she said YES. We are over the moon for them. xx

It’s hard to imagine a barby it’s so flipping cold here, wet and windy lol, but as you say a good time to declutter lol. I still like some of things I’ve taken put, but if I know I haven’t reached for them lately, then I just bite the bullet, and out they go. Oh there are some lovely people in this world, but all too often disgusting people spoil things. I just have the cardigan, a dressing gown, and a teddy bear. Will never part with any of them. It is so relaxing watching someone else do a declutter, Lynn. I am so indecisive. It takes me ages. I think that if I tried things on that I’m not sure about, it would help. Then again, that would take me ages. 😩 For the life of me, I can’t understand some people’s behaviour. If everyone stopped using the bins because of these morons, it is the charities who would lose out. Very sad. Another gripe is the amount of people who leave stuff when the bins are obviously full. It doesn’t take much brain power to work out what’s likely to happen. “There’s nowt so queer as folk” unfortunately. That’s enough of a rant from me. Have a great week, lovely lady. ❤❤xxxx
The only things I will try on are my pants when I declutter those, and that’s because I’ve lost weight. Oh I do worry about the bins, like you say, if we all stop using then the charities will suffer. I think I’ll just distribute mine around a few shops, and I’ve seen where people leave clothes when the bins are full, and it’s raining, the clothes get wet through. I’m sure people use the bins as a dumping ground for any old tat. I’ve heard some awful stories, makes me so sad ❤️❤️❤️

Yes, but I got rid of 15 tops, plus the things I took out of the 1st rail that I did. The hanger thing is just so that it looks tidy. I have to be a bit ruthless otherwise I wouldn’t throw any lol ❤️❤️❤️
