MajorSkyblue glad to hear your getting into piracy. The way to find players is use Inara to see which system is selling VOs at the highest price, then go there and wait near the star.
Wouldn't it be cool if wanted cmdrs with crimes of stealing or killing other ships were barred entirely from big space stations and would have to go to outpost owned by the pirate faction and when having gained enough of their trust you gain access for their hidden base in an asteroid field (in these hidden bases the commodities would be worth more).
Zakurn yep, being a criminal should have consequences-and rewards. Entering an anarchy system should also be extremely dangerous unless you’ve developed some type of criminal rep; at which point you’re welcomed
I love what you do with shieldless builds! I've been trying to make a silent running cobra, but I can't find a good weapon to take care of big ship shields without producing a lot of heat. any tips?
Cmdrs, I have had an idea, what do you think about this! I get my combat cutter, find pirates doing this, jump in with them, and in local state "Pirate, you have been haulted by a imperial enforcement battleship, please cease your unlawful actions and halt, any action to run or engage in combat will result in your destruction" and then I scan them and make them drop 1 or 2 tons of void opals and make them give that to the person they were trying to pirate! Ohhh that could be fun, do you think it's a good idea?
@@joseabreu6910 Yes, I have turrets on the outer nacelles, so a sidy wouldent be able to do much if it got my flanks. And if all fails, boost, FA off and turn around!
I would have loved for you to have interdicted my mining ship when I was doing painite runs... It may or may not be a fully combat equipped mining cutter with 512 tons of cargo totaling 400 million per run... then again, I'm a complete wuss, and was doing so in solo... honestly, if I were interdicted by a sidewinder in my mining cutter I'd shit bricks, I ain't want no shield cascade torpedos!
I'm curious CMDR, where do you find all these traders to attack? I'm sitting out here in open play in the station that currently buys VO for the highest price and I have not seen a single anything out here yet. Just curious if I'm missibg something.
Spirit 117 It’s like fishing, sometimes there are more people than you can rob. Sometimes you never see anyone. When checking Inara make sure the prices are recently updated. If they are more than one hour old they may be inaccurate, especially now that the markets are dynamic the highest selling station often changes.
Allan Whalley I have, but cytos are not needed for piracy now as hatch breakers go through shields. A dumbfire modded with FSD reboot is a good idea though

@@cmdrthreeofnine1006 how did you scoop up cargo & break hatch with this build? Must be a tight fit? Please do more Sidewinder piracy videos as I always got mocked when I fly my favorite sidewinder. I think it has 1 of the most detail cockpits in the game.
Aaron M I think the best ship to learn in is the Cobra 3. I say this because when you’re learning expect to get killed about 50 times in a row before scoring your first victory and it’s a capable ship with cheap rebuy. Also I recommend joining the Galactic Combat Initiative discord.gg/xmjcgvS

Paradoxical Penguin for big ship shields, you absolutely need reverb mines. All other weapons are generally insufficient (for pvp)

Welcome back cmdr! I have a lightweight speed build in mind for the eagle using a couple of cytoscramblers - have you tried something similar??

Pc...he is using macros and a mouse cursor is on screen :)
In on the PC. To find players use Inara and search for the system that is buying VOs at the highest price. Then go to that system and wait at the star
