Assuming Kurapika lives for about 70 years, that’s roughly 7 days for his Emperor Time duration before he dies of old age. That’s not a lot, and he’s using it a LOT for the succession war.
Any skilled user can figure it out plus it gives the opponent aura and thats the only ability knuckle can use making him weak and it being hard for him the make his opponent go bankrupt, plus he got carried by gods accomplice and saying it was their only chance of defeating a royal gusrd is dumb cuz they couldnt defeat him in the end even with gods accomplice and gon defested a royal guard
Emperor time is a insane suicidal power unless you have a indefinite way of adding on lifespan especially considering how fights can casually last 30 min or longer
Fights can be 30 minutes, but they can also be 3 minutes like the palace invasion lol. It is a very volatile ability, but I don't think most fights will last long enough for it to be truly detrimental in the way the succession war has been.
I would've put knuckles ability somewhere on this list, as its the only guaranteed win condition in the show, except for cheetu's little domain expansion thingy
Important to mention emperor time does have direct drawbacks no just with lifespan. Kurapika was out for 3 days after using the ability a series of times to fight the phantom troupe and by the end of the uvogin fight he was visibly exhausted and drained
My Top 5: 1. Aura synthese (You can pretty much become the most powerfull person alive by killing and eating people weaker than you) 2. Emperor time (Having the 5 Nen Types on 100% makes you a force in battle and considering the draw back wich dosen't effect you at the moment of use it's a near perfect ability) 3. Hide and Seek (The ability is very usefull not only in battle. You will never be homeless and you can oneshot anyone. Although people way stronger than you blitz you, but you obviously wouldn't fight those guys) 4. Deep Purple (Very usefull and Versatile) 5. Chains and Skill Hunter (May have restrictions but they are very versatile and usefull, maybe even the most in the Show, and the restrictions are not to impossible so you can't use the abilitys to it's fullest. But due to them I only gave those two the fifth spot) Honorble Mentions: Bungee Gum (Needs high level of creativity to get op, wich is why it didn't get on the list) Big Bang Impact (Immediantly punching with such power without standing there to load is simple but is so usefull. But it needs a true enchancment Master to do so)
razor ability is great just because he is using it, the same goes with zeno, if goreinu happened to be at the same level of razor, he could emit 14 gorillas with the ability to teleport between themselves, the user and the target, thats insanity !!! and if sadaso happened to be at the same level of zeno his transmuted hand could be houndreds of meter long. on the other hand, regardless of your level, tserriednich ability is straight up broken, same goes with meleoron, they should be higher.
Aura Synthesis is the best ability, you just have to farm lowbies for a few years.... It makes no sense though because that should be a special ability and Meruem is a emitter....
Halkenburgs arrow seems good, but it is dependent on having a large amount of followers at your disposal. This is a pretty large condition, as the majority of people will not having a following to take advantage of. It also is not that versatile, as it only has one use, and that use is dependent on the whims of the possessed person. I ranked it at 17, so it was very close to making the list. Camilla's ability is also good, but it really suffers in Ease of Use. Dying to activate an ability is pretty much the biggest condition there is. We've also already seen a way to get around it- imprisonment. It also does not seem to suit Camillas needs that well, as she's legally not allowed to kill people in the Succession war. I ranked it 40, I don't have much respect for this ability tbh
Kind of ridiculous that there are at least 15 nen abilities better than the 100 Type Guanyin Bodhisattva. Not stronger, but definitely better. also bisky's piano massage is completely broken
I thought about it too but umm that aura he emitted before it turns into a sun seems pretty darn slow. Not every opponent would just stand there and wait to see what'll happen. Too little information on how that ability works and that's how the other spiders made got out alive by not standing there and watch.
I don’t think u watched the manga but hisoka been got killed by chrollo and just because hisoka couldn’t do nun he just accepted death so chrollo should be first

Knuckle has easily the most creative and effective ability since it was their only hope of defeating atleast one guard

Yeah but he has to be within 100m. Without meleoron knuckle wouldn't have had a fraction of a chance against youpi. Even with meleoron he still lost.
