    Very informative! Been debating whether to do this on the R5C and how often
    Let alone understand it at all since it’s my first cinema camera. Thanks for the information 🙏🏼 sub’d!

    I also use a C70 and found this enlightening, thanks. The image samples helped. I never quite understood why "black" (which seems like it would never change) needs to be reset. But the fact that you demonstrated the improvement is good enough for me! Cheers.

    Thanks for covering this. I’m new to the cinema line (C70) and was wondering about it.

    I think you’d get more views if you took the c200 part out and just referred to the canon cine line in general. I use a c70 and found this really useful.

    I do it because "they" say to. I've never shot before and afters. Thanks for that. It does make a diff.

    Shoot with an R5C and always have the RF 28-70 on it. Not a fan of changing lenses so I just put on the lens cap (I didn't know until 2 days before that you can tighten the lens cap by rotating it clockwise until it's tight for less likely light leaks). On top of that I put a rain cover (deep black) on the camera and lens to further kill light leaking. Always have peace of mind camera ABB's perfect.

    I'm worried this is a stupid question, but you turn off the camera again before re-affixing the lens, right? Turning off the camera doesn't re-set the ABB?

    • @forewordco

      Turning off will not reset ABB! Not a stupid question. ABB should be reset whenever there is a drastic change in scene/temperature!

    What is your C200s monitor mounted to?

    • @forewordco
      @forewordco  10 місяців тому

      Some small rig handle and rail connector! one of the things that is less than ideal about the mount included on the C200 of the monitor is that it often becomes un-level relative to the camera, which can be problematic when attempting to film!

    What camera's do ya'll use to film your episodes?

      Mostly C70, but you may see some C200 sprinkled throughout!
