Alex: I believe the sleight you were referencing is Bill Simon's "Prophecy Move." The sleight goes farther back to the Tarbell course wherein a card stab routine utilized the principle but it was Bill Simon who popularized it. I hope this helps... FYI... (I don't feel natural) Dealing with the main trick of this magic (putting the forced card between the 2 others) I added a joke (it worth what it worth haha) : I tell the spectator I will discover what card he picked out... and I flip the card underneath the deck saying "wow that is cardistry! 😎". Besides it is a very bad joke (it's what I like 😁) I think it helps the transition and catches the spectator's attention...

To get into the setup you can also take a look at the bottom card and find two cards of the same kind. Now you can cull these two cards to the top leaving one of the four cards on the bottom, one in the middle and two on top.

My idea of revealing this: flip the whole deck over and spread the cards. Everyone sees the only face down Card sandwiched by two other 7‘s. With the face up spread the image subtle reinforces the thought, he could have inserted the card anywhere but it’s exactly between the two 7s. Also it looks more like you (the magician) didn’t do anything, while when you take the cards out of the deck, it maybe looks like you are doing something subconsciously. Ofc it’s super clean as well but I believe the spectator is more convinced of thinking „yes, that’s where I put the card“ if you seemingly leave it in the deck and don’t take it out for the reveal.
Hey Alex.. Just a fyi when you said that you didn't know the math on the chance of having two same value cards together in a shuffled deck.. I have done the math and practical applications. You have a 96% chance of having at least two of the same value together. Hope that helps.
Hey Alex I love performing this trick the only difference I have is I reveal the prediction first as I try to have the cards twin hearts/diamonds etc. Then reveal that while my predicted card was magic them "placing" it where they did was chance and then reveal the 2 remaining cards. I just feel it builds more to the "NO WAY!, WHHHHHAAAATTTT!" result I want

The instruction’s not bad at all on this one and the effect has a good classic feel, which is what I believe you meant to achieve. As for going live, you might consider Instagram; noting to both services though, that you ALSO would like a way to go live on all platforms simultaneously. This suggestion to them may even work wonders.
