    You might have the wheely bar to low ? Or the chassis to low ? I think when you get going and the wheels balloon or expand it's taking it off the front wheels and the wheely bar is steering?

    • @kgrc0078

    looks like your left rear tire might be ballooning faster than the right side making it push right. traxxas makes a solid slick tire that fits 12mm hexs. they come on the funny car.

    You need to raise your wheelie bar that’s why it’s spinning out because the pressure is adding to wheelie bars

    Wicked fast, but needs a gyro to help steer. I had the same issue, but with a Radiolink gyro, it’s a straight rocket. May not pass at a track, but can show the capability of the car.

    • @kgrc0078
      @kgrc0078  4 роки тому

      I wish man. In no prep racing gyro is not allowed

    • @MrRdizzle01
      @MrRdizzle01 3 роки тому

      No point putting a gyro on his going to have the difficulty as he is now once he ends up at a drag noprep having to take it off
      I would start off on a better controller and tune in the speed bring it down
      On speed little by little
      Then look into his shocks set up
      If that doesn't help He will need to change pinion then continue to test run
      Decreasing speed till it goes straight not a huge decrease of speed but little by little will still go fast
      Traction is the key to speed and going straight
      It is trial and error testing and runs nobody gets it right straight away
      Even the surface ground can effect it best place to test is where the noprep racing event is held
      Then it's tuned for that surface

    Hi bud I run the BL120 in 4 vehicles, one does 65mph at 2.2 seconds with a 4.5t and my others do around 55mph at 2.4-2.7 seconds with a 4.5 and 5.5t. You need to turn the punch down it’s at 7 as default and turn the timing up 1-2 levels to get the top end going.
    Also the car will react totally different with a body your adding about another 160+ grams on the chassis don’t tune without the body on.

    I'd say your wheelie bar is the reason it's not wanting to go straight also try doing a burnout on a piece of carpet with some simple green, the simple green makes the tires sticky, and as far as the wheelie bar I'd go with the strc one or any other one that's longer and has more adjustment

      The 2wd slash platform is actually great. Just get an LCG chassis for it if you haven’t yet.
      Most people who drag race nowadays use a 3.5t motor. R1 and maclan drk are the top brands currently. But you can also find others that are good too depending on your setup. Make sure your ESC can handle that speed too. 3.5-5.5 turn motors are competitive and they equal to about 6000-8000kv motors. They’ll burn most ESCs on 2s.
