I think as Canadians many of the people forget the Huge part our Armed Forces play in protecting and serving our country,,, this song gives me chills,, Thank you to All of you currently serving our country and also the veterans that have done the job!!!!!!👍👍❤️
Very proud of these musicians and our Service men and women. The Snowbirds flew over this morning honouring the medical nurses, doctors and volunteers and now we see this presentation. Feels good to be Canadian and we thank our dedicated defence personnel for all their efforts throughout our country.K . McCrady
I don't usually get sappy about military stuff but I must confess to some teary eyed pride in Canada upon seeing this. Fabulous performance! Thanks for your help during these trying times!
@@cacersham My family roots in the Canadian military go back to the 1700s and with Brock at Niagara. My Uncle Aff (Alfred) was the first Cdn POW in WW2 (flying for the RAF in Sept 1939 before Canada declared war) and survived the Great Escape. Thanks for your comment.

Tremendous version and outstanding musicianship shown by Jetstream. We owe so much to our brave and selfless men and women in uniform. They have been amazing during this crisis.
I have no idea who you are BUT you are wrong...the whole performance is excellent. Yes his voice is exceptional but so are all the others. By the way I was a musician and record company executive for 40 years, that is where my compliments are coming from.
@@Slappybeaver1 I think she meant that it was not the only thing that was great, and that there were others. I don't think she meant it as a criticism. Stay safe.
This is real talent !!!!!!!!!! I'm a service brat I Mean sr. citizen now but man oh man how did this not make it onto Canada's National tv networks ........crickets .....................
My sister played woodwinds in the orchestra and glockenspiel in the marching band of the 40th Army Band for 27 years. Armed forces bands are real soldiers besides being musically talented. Can't say thanks often enough for their service.
She must be an extremely unique and talented woman for her time and for today. Canadian Forces musicians are very talented and very well educated individuals. Coming to our Forces to be a Musician puts you in competition with graduates of schools like Juilliard, many people don't realize this. I'm sure it is no different in your Country. I bet your sister is a really special person.
Now I found out that my son who is a RCMP officer is suffering from PTSD this song is even more powerful for me as I think of what he is going through I want to fix it as a Mother,,,❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So proud of the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces for stepping up during these difficult times!! And kudos to Jetstream for this video. Such incredible talent!!!
We lived on these bases, Trenton, Gimlic, Clinton (Astra), Borden Air Force side Barker Public, Then back to Trenton... Those Uniforms so amazing my Dad was a SGT. but he never played the guitar and sang like that wow !!!! so everyone was so good real professionals.......

Thank you so much for this and your service when it is so badly needed. Your talent is amazing and the video of the contributions of our forces really shows why we should all be so grateful . As a retired military nurse I salute you . God bless .
My uncle flying Officer Edward Joseph Andrews was with the 428 Ghost Squadron R.C.A.F on his way to bomb Hamburg on Dec 23 1943 aboard a Handley Page Halifax with 6 other crew members but ran into foul weather and was subsequently shot down by an me110 over the Dutch coast. All crew were lost at sea and never recovered.
