I had a cooler stolen from beside my tent while camping at a race track while I was racing one weekend. They took the cooler with 5 beers in it. Some people are just really hard up I guess. I was always told as a kid, of it isn't yours don't touch it, they'll be back for it once they realize its missing. I just wish everyone in this world was a little more honest. As far as what you guys are doing for the wild turkey fundraiser is incredible to say the least. Keep up the great work THP. Set up a 'bait' cooler with a live skunk in it, love to see the face on the thieves when they open that sucker up!

Greg I think I speak for most of us when I say we’d prefer to see you get a bird off camera rather than go empty handed. Either way though it’s always a joy to watch.

You should always set up a game camera by your campsite when you're not there. If you get robbed you might be able to find out who did it if you get a picture of them or license plate Lock up voluble stuff in your vehicle
Great footage boys! Love the up close and personal and just listening to the hens talk. It shows they still gobble even in the rain so get out there!

I camp in the Shawnee every year. There have been stolen cars driven out to where we park for camp and then taken a boat launch and lit on fire. It can get pretty methed up depending on where you're at
One of my favorite THP turkey videos! First off, the fund raiser. Secondly, the AWESOME hen footage! Loved the hen talk! Third...just want to say it's refreshing to watch a video where someone puts in some effort to actually get video of a turkey! I commend you Greg for not pulling the trigger. Good stuff boys. First off I think your hunting show is the best. I love how kid friendly it is too.. Now, this past week I had something happen to me that made me think of your show. I hunt a pasture in Virginia whose property line is about 100 yards away from National forest. I have scouted the turkeys for years on this property and know where they roost usually. For 2 weeks before the opening of turkey season the toms strutted in the middle of the pasture which is visible at a few spots from a dirt road. Opening morning I have 3 flashlights go behind me where I sit on the edge of the pasture. I flashed my light at them, 2 kept walking and one sits 100 yards behind me. The other 2 walked right thru where the turkeys roost. I know on your show that you always back out when you see another hunter. These guys did this 3 out of four days of my hunt. I never heard a tom all week.

I’ve had my 2 year old “calling” turkeys since she could basically make any noise. It’s basically her just saying who, high pitched squeals, and what not. Now she’s seen so many thp videos she try’s to screech like Aaron on top of that 🤣🤣

Shitty to see you got robbed. I’m always super paranoid when camping anywhere especially Illinois Public land… some places are better than others but have seen some sketchy individuals around the public land i hunt. I learned early on to keep the hunting stickers off my truck and things locked up.
I am liking the recent addition of dialogue in these videos.
My WI tag starts on 4/20, I hope this damn weather starts to cooperate we had small hail today and wet for the next 4 days. Next Wednesday it is projected to be cloudy and 45 degrees not the best but I will take it as long as its dry.

Lucky! Guy I hunted with shot a buck in Louisiana public land this year that he’s been chasing for 3 years, cleaned it, caped it out, and left and went back in the woods. Came back and found out that someone had stolen all the meat except for 1 front shoulder..

Fellow resident in northern illinois. I too apologize and it’s a shame fellow hunters would do this to one another. Don’t hear that happening as much up here in northern Illinois and I’m all over public land up here! We have that more on private side of things unfortunately :-(

Glad you found your gear! Been robbed before on the trail, tools, clothes, parts. Jerks even poured our water jug into the gas tank. Some people. Now days seems they will break a window for a 5$ charger, premium used hunt clothes fetch a much higher price online.

Brother, it’s just pitiful and weird. Basically like having to deer hunt. Walk, look for sign, and sit quietly. These Alabama Mt. Turkey and Deer are already hardheaded as it is 😂 I’m hoping it’ll get better in a week or so. I’ve hunted from Rabbittown Rd. to Clay County and have only saw a few hens in the roads.
I saw on one of the Facebook groups I’m a part of somebody post this cooler and bag a few days back. Saying it was pretty deep at a trail head or something like that. They posted photos of the cooler the bag and the inside burritos. I went back to try to find the post but I couldn’t find it. Maybe it was the guy who left a note?

Seems really odd that someone would take the stuff and just leave it. Definitely seems like a prank to me, but who knows. The turkeys seem alive and well here in southern Indiana. I make different kinds for them: taco, chili cheese, pizza, BBQ, enchilada and breakfast burritos. The guys don’t warm them up - just eat them cold.
You guys were sure good at getting the hens in close. Too bad the toms wouldn't due the same. It looked like you could have tapped that one hen with your gu. barrel... So cool.

The campsite deal is easy to figure out....the locals figured out where the new adventurers were hunting and didn't like it, problem with public land is that it's public land, by far better to lease land locally that way no hard feelings dispersed
The O2 sensor is an oxygen fuel ratio sensor..when they are bad it can effect your gas mileage..looks like a spark plug with a wire attached to it !
@Jake Edge some Fords have 4 ..2 upstream & 2 down and a lot of gas have 3..2 upstream and 1 downstream
