Sameee lmao! What I do is wrap a satin pillowcase under the my bonnet and then secure it on my head with a tied silk scarf and pray it doesn’t fall off
I've made it to Day 5 hair for the first time since I've completely changed my hair routine thanks to you Bianca!!! You've changed my life with all your amazing advice, thank you times a million. 🧡
I finally ordered my first silk pillow case immediately after you said it this time! 😂I've waited over a year into my curly hair journey. I don't know why I waited so long! Two days till perfect hair!
Wow, I'm new to transitioning my hair and I've kept my 3B-3C thick hair till two weeks, without refreshing. I follow all your tips, I can push it even to one more week. Thanks Bianca!
Definitely love Lily Silk! Got the pillowcase & sleep cap for my birthday and there’s definitely a difference between satin and silk. Thank you for a great video!
I was struggling to get past days 3-4 with my waves. Then I started wrapping my hair in a satin scarf and sleeping on a silk pillowcase. Day 5-6 waves on point now. Great video, B! ❤️
Bianca I've learned so much from you about hair product ingredients and what's amazing is that I have 4c hair and never thought i could learn so much from someone with different hair texture, Thank you so much!
I’m happy to see so much love for NYM Curl Talk line in this video. It’s my absolute holy grail line but people don’t believe me because it’s also so easy on the wallet!
I actually do not have issue with my hair lasting that long. The long my hair stay the better it looks. My day 1 and 2 hair can't compete with my day 3-7 hair.
This video really helps out because I am still learning all this and this shows me on how I can refresh my curls everyday. I absolutely love this thank you 💖😁🎯
So, I usually condition my hair daily if not int he shower, followed by a leave in, or I use my spray bottle then leave in. But I find it gets fluffier after day one which is why I do it every day to get the best look. I'm definitely going to try some of the products you mentioned and see if I can last six days. Right now I'm usually good 5 or 6 days before washing fully (Saturday I usually wash and deep condition). Great tips!
Day 6?!?!? Super impressed B 😩👏🏽 your hair has gotten so long since I started following you 3 yrs ago at the start of my natural hair journey!! Forever my curly hair goals 😍😍🥰👏🏽
This video totally helped. I just started my curly hair journey and my biggest struggle is getting my day 1 hair to last at least 3 days. Turns out I just need to leave the cast on my hair.
This was such a great video!!! Thank you girl. I will try a few of these product recommendations. This week my Day 6 curls were poppin just like day 1!!!
I have wavy hair that used to be really frizzy but now I can wash it a week apart with less problems with frizz (it’s inevitable to have some but it’s greatly reduced) this is what helped me i put leave in conditioner in my hair before I go to sleep and I wake up with less dry and brittle hair that also looks less frizzy and more defined. I have no idea why it works but if I just leave the leave in conditioner till the morning alone when refreshing I find it isn’t enough, so I do it morning and night. This is just what works for me because I have very dry hair so it might not work for you but I was trying to help it took me a lot of trial abs error. Hope this helps!!
I get 5-6 good days out of my waves - the right conditioners and stylers (for me), good overnight protection, and time! Also, I NEVER refresh...that’s my secret. It can happen! Hang in there! ❤️
I watch EVEN THOUGH I'm not that far along in the journey. I just did a big chop in August but it has grown a lot. I just learn so much about technique and product from Bianca.
It’s awesome. And I used deva curl too. I never had any issues, thankfully, but curlsmith is soooooo much better. Also try Curlmix. It’s cheaper than curlsmith and it works well.
I stopped using deva curl a year ago. My scalp is still unbelievably flakey and my curls are so limp doesn’t matter what I use. Thanks so much I’ll definitely look into it!
I feel for you, I know it is hard to trust companies again cause you're scared it might happen again. Maybe try products that are more natural like the curlsmith line, rizos curls, innersense...
@@XbringmeXthehorizonX do you scalp massages and oil treatments? that should help the flake tremendously. I do an oil treatment every wash day as a pre poo and then there are also daily light weight oils that are amazing scalp relievers.
My daughter has curly hair and I have straight hair, but we both use silk pillow cases and scrunchies. I have seen a difference in my hair just by switching out the cotton pillow cases. I do need a better dry shampoo because mine really dries out my scalp, so maybe I will look into the one you have.
Hilarious! I love you Bianca!! The dancing, the accent..and this makeup look is perfect! Great recommendations! Your hair looks absolutely amazing Day 6 That’s crazy!!
Ohhh I learned a couple new things on this one. I don’t refresh as much as I probably should but this was extremely helpful for the days when I need to refresh. My only issue that I have had is keeping my silk bonnet on at night. It usually skips off by the morning which drives me nuts.
I swear, you're the only curly girl I trust. You have ALL the answers. Well, at least all the ones I need. I can make it to day 4 curls using the Not Your Mother's that I bought after your tutorial.
Yeah I try to get to day 2 or 3 and I can't take it. My head sweats too much and I hate how my hair smells after a day. More power to curlfriends that can make it to day 4 and beyond!!!
Could you talk about hair falling while brushing, how much hair falling is considered “normal” and when should we worry!!? Thank you love your videos ❤️
Bianca! Can you please review Trepadora products! They're silicone free, sulphate free, all that good stuff, made for curly hair, UK brand, but a little bit pricey so I would love to know your verdict before I go for it!
I came across your channel today and I'm so glad I did. Love your sense of humor. Very informative honey. I'm transitioning from styling my hair straight for many moons (20yrs☹) the curls are popping back thankfully. Thankyou for your hard work. It's much appreciated by this curly in the wet uk😘
Those tips works ! I pretty much follow what you say. At first my wash n go would last now at least 5 days and on sixth day I usually wash. Adding mouse as been a game changer and I would recommend to anyone doing wash n go even for kinky voulu hair.
I get sooo chilly cold in silk pjs but I do use a silk pillow case, silk scrunchi to pineapple, and have a bonnet but if my head is completely covered I then get really sweaty hot so the pineapple method works for me.
Love your PJ'S. 🤩 Have you done a vlog on your weekly hair routine. Like you explained here in this video? Would love to see day by day how your hair is in the morning and how you refresh. Just a thought.
Please do a video on wearing a winter hat! I always have the hardest time getting all these curls in a winter hat. When I finally do I look a mess when I take off the hat!!
Amazing tips, I get lazy especially when I work at the hospital it’s bun life, especially with this COVID I have to wash my hair after coming home after my shift, but when I have a stretch off I’m going to try to be more patient with my hair and see if I can go for longer days
I feel like I was adding too much water and product. So I really needed this video. I also think the oil in creme is too thick for my hair and frizzandfrill mentioned trying the weightless leave in. So trying these few different things may make a difference. 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
Could you do a video abt getting your hair trimmed? I haven’t gotten mine trimmed professionally in over 5 years bc I don’t trust hair salons but made a resolution to get it trimmed every six-eight months
Great tips! I need to see how it is to refresh with cream stylers. I also need to get my hands on some Curl Smith products and try Pattern gel. *sigh* some day I will get all the products I need. Bianca I loved this video. You are so funny breaking out TLC. I’m like well now I need to get those pajamas!
Yessss, we got the dance!!!!! This was just what I needed. Was wondering if I needed to update my refresh game now that my hair is longer. 😊 This week was a really good hair week for me. I am on day 7 and still got definition. I used the CurlSmith Hair Makeup Gel along with Not Your Mother's Mousse, seems like that is the combo for me (gel and mousse...I live in a humid area). I don't think I even refreshed at all this week and curls are still popping!
Ugh, I wish I could make my curls last longer. As it is I can only get three days out of them if I'm lucky. My hair doesn't really get greasy but my hair has a really fine texture and doesn't hold curl that well so after sleeping on it even if I sleep with it up all my curls stretch out and look awful and I can't get them to look right again until I wash my hair.
I really needee this video bianca, thanks. My mom literally pushed me into straightening my hair recently cause she thought wearing a big afro was “UGLY” even though she has curly hair herself (looser pattern). When I wet my hair the curls weren’t coming back like they shouldve and it had a very horrible burnt scent so when I went to her and complained she literally just... Said that myD DAMAGED LOOKING CURLS looked pretty (aka they looked way too looser than usual. My hair was type 4 and now it looks like type 3). Ive literally failed in being the person that has NEVER straightened their hair (this was the only time it happened and it costed me alot). To all the curl friends out there, PLEASE do not straighten your hair EVER. If you’re a versatile person who likes to switch between the two please consider the damage it maydo overtime. I also was about to hit a year and a half since ive decided to let my natural hair grow. I’m crying rn
SilverBow, I couldn't pass by your comment and not send you some love. Your hair is beautiful, just as it naturally grows, and just as it is now too, because it is part of you, and you are uniquely made and special no matter what anyone else thinks or tells you! Your hair will either spring back or grow back, don't worry! And many, if not most, textured haired people have gone ham with heat tools at one point or another! Have you tried a deep conditioner for the damage, something like Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt protein treatment? Just leave it on a little at a time (5, 10,, 15mins each time, but I'd say not more than half an hour, just to be safe) until you start to see your curls bounce back. Curl friend, be strong and try not to be too upset at your mom -- there are a lot of generational opinions that are old fashioned and not true, and some people were raised for generations to think a certain way even though we know it's not true. That's why channels like Bianca's are so important, so that people with all types of textures can just be free to be themselves! Sending you a big hug, Beauty!!! xoxo 💖💖💖
@@pondeck Thank you so much for the comment, I really appreciate it and will always remember how much better it made me feel. @@silverbowftw5225 You're so welcome, sweetie! You just hang onto my comment for safekeeping so that you can look at it any time you need a reminder! You were not insensitive, just concerned, and you know what? It's so wonderful that you love and care for your beautiful hair and don't want to change it! I hope that you remember to give yourself at least as much love, care, and compassion on the inside as on the outside -- please don't be too hard on yourself, and I hope you do things to nurture your mind and spirit too! One thing worth mentioning is that life is full of all kinds of changes that happen, but as long as you know that you are strong and beautiful, you will be able to deal with, and even embrace, all the changes life brings. I am so glad that you are feeling better. It's okay to feel sad sometimes when we go through challenging times, like this year has been. But you have a precious heart and deserve every happiness! I wish you every blessing, always! You have a lovely day yourself, Beauty! xoxo
I love the not your mother curl talk mousse but every time I use it I break out in eczema. I’ve had it since I was a child but my neck and face suddenly have red spots when I use it🥲 BUT THOSE GELS. Pattern Beauty gel is my favorite
Day 6 hair! Yes I’m truly impressed as I’ve yet to make it past 3days😩
The story of my life😫
Day 3?! I can't make it past day 2
Feel ya there
I can’t go past day one 🥴
Me either. Day three is my limit.
What the heck? My hair doesn’t even look this good on day 1 FFS
FRRR
Truth. I'd settle for 2-3 days of great hair.
ok!
I’ve actually been trying to figure out how to refresh my curls so this was super helpful!!
The silk pillow case has definitely been a game changer for my curls ☺️ been using one for some years now 🙌🏾
Quick question :D do u cover your hair when you sleep or do you just use the silk pillow case?
I would need a whole silk bed I sleep upside down like a bat and every other way
😂😂 do it!
Haha Haha! I'm with you. Wonder how much good silk sheets would set me back.
My first silk bed sheets I bought, I almost fell off the bed sleeping on it.
Lmaooooooooooo

OMG! When you show the gels, I right away think “where is the Dippity Do?” 🤣
Right!? I brought it downstairs to film in a bag then forget it in the bag next to my feet 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

this is such good advice! my wash days usually end on day 4 after wearing a ponytail for two days straight haha
I totally laughed out loud when you went into the "Creep" music. Yup!
The only time I make it to day 6 is when I'm too lazy to wash my hair and put it in a bun for 3 or 4 days 😂
As a 2b-2c wavy gal I wish I could do day 6 hair! My hair always looks the best day 1. They always get crushed when I sleep!
The problem with me is, my pillow is under my head at night and then ends up on top of my head by the morning...with scarf on the floor😅😅😂😂😂

I just got 2 silk pillowcases! ♥️😍
And, of course, a silk bonnet. You know it! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Oh I just love this channel. LOVEEEEEEEEE. You have helped me so much!
It is like Bianca never ages
Any other recommendations for shorter hair? I use the bonnet but I still wake up with my hair looking really flat.
Have you ever done any other rinses outside of the rice water rinse? Like a tea rinse or ACV rinse? I hear they do AMAZING things for you hair.
Your christmas giveaways were awesome last year, I'm excited for this year!
your dancing made my night @Bianca :D
