Hey mate. I love the sneddens it’s a little bit sticky but it cuts deep. It feels like all you need to do is drop the axe and it pulls itself into the wood
Both axes seemed to do really well. The Sneddens looks to have more of a poll than most tassies. I assume this shifts the balance a bit. Any thoughts having swung them back to back?
Hi mate, the poll is definitely much bigger on the sneddens. The poll doesn’t really come in the factory unless you are swinging horizontally such at felling and wedge banging. It doesn’t make a difference when chopping underhand as gravity is in your favour

Yeah mate I was luck I was wearing steel caps. I order some chainmail socks that night, It’s not worth the risk
