**I completely understand buying on eBay is scary. However, when you are ready to buy your camera or lens on ebay, use this checklist I have created...
    1) buy from a seller in Japan.
    2) they must have 100% positive feedback.
    3) they must have at least 100 Feedbacks.
    4) the listing must say MINT OR EXC OR WORKING OR TESTED OR LIKE NEW.
    5) you must understand the camera will Not be the cheapest one on ebay.

"Any authentic work of art, must start an argument, between the artist and his audience."
    Must Read
"Photographic art overlaps with the landscape, portraiture, and other photography types. It is defined by the artist's vision and approach to get distinct photographs. Unlike other forms of photography, fine art photography is about capturing what the artist sees instead of what the camera sees. It is just another tool for artists to produce their art."

**The CCD was invented in 1969 at Bell Labs by Willard Boyle and George Smith. Since that CCD FILM LIKE SENSOR was sensitive to light it was used as image sensor for video and TV cameras. It could also be used as a memory device or analogue signal delay since it's principally a kind of analogue shift-register circuit.

Glad you covered this lens.! I have been using it on Zenit XP12 film SLR with great results. Waiting for adapter to arrive so I can use on full frame Sony digital. Amazingly sharp, ability to get in close and watch the swirl bokeh!

I love the ultra dramatic clouds in the B&W last shot. The Helios is is a very good lens. You are capable of getting great photos using the bottom of a Coke bottle as your lens. IMHO you have the best most useful photographic channel.

I like this lens but once I got a Helios 40-c 85mm f1.5, I never touch the 44 any more. The swirl on that 85 is just crazy.

Great video Carmine, thanks! Would my Industar 61 also be a good alternative to the Helios 44?? Also, would I get the same bokeh effect with my micro four thirds cameras??
