They’re like the all of the Beatles and all of the Beach Boys had love children and created The Zombies.

More like a mix between sgt pepper and pet sounds
I wouldn't agree, maybe the upbeat chorus could share commonalities with the beatles... but this band has a completely unique sound, thats what makes them such a distinguishable band, that is part of their charm.

Some parts of this song remind me of The Beatles - You won't see me
Yeah same, the chorus when they sing: "Maybe after he's gone" sound nearly identical to the line in: "Time after time you refuse to even listen".
