Every few years that go by I have to pick a new favorite. The depth of this album is incredible. You can't call it a "lost album" but compared to some of the others in the era it's often overlooked.
“Do you remember golden days and golden summer sun ? The sound of laughter in our ears and the breeze as we would run.” Beautiful lyric. The Zombies are the most underrated band of all time.
This song is excellent because it's off their last album called Odessey & Oracle which many great songs are on there. I've always enjoyed and loved the Zombies music but 19 others gave this song a thumbs down. Perhaps these were people that didn't live in the 60's and don't understand 60's music. Beechwood Park is a real place just outside of London, it's wherever your mind will take you.
I certainly agree with you and I don't understand why 19 others gave this song a thumbs down. But if they didn't live in the 60's, then they don't understand the music.
Once again we couldn't get rid of the ever present beatle fan who thinks everything comes from them. Two things about it: I've never thought of Michelle when hearing this song. I think what you say is so subjective and finally affects your enjoyment. Second, I love the Beatles but can't you see your kind of comment make people hate them instead of loving them?

God, this is so underrated
Masterpiece in nostalgia - a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.
Masterpiece

Love the voice.
the zombies are definitely more alive than ever with such an album- infectious melodies, pet sound, and pop at its best! Bravo!
One of my favorite songs describing one of my favorite moods. Absolutely beautiful and tranquil.
One of my favorite songs
Goosebumps
Such Groovyness!
new favorite song
Incredible song
I can't stop listening to this in loop
This is a great summer song, again a Chris White composition. Just like Rod, Chris’s songs are like mini short stories on this album.
Awesome video for an awesome song

Argent is such an organist!
Phenomenal ....
Reminds me of childhood. The whole album does.
What a voice
Eu não consigo parar de escutar essa música. Tão suave
Cosmic choral music...

When The Zombies sound more like Pink Floyd than Pink Floyd
❤️
Thank you Sir Mikael Åkerfeldt.

pretty sure half the views are from me
And the other half from me. Haha
TRUE
I use Gilette, but sadly, I dont look like their model in this video
This is a nice song, but hey, the chords are same as Michelle(Beatles) !
This is better in my heretical opinion :)
It has only 3 or 4 chords in common and it is not in the same key. It can only have an "atmosphere similar" to Michelle.
@@lebicho3315 Procol Harum was the inspiration here. Whiter Shade of Pale was a big hit while they were recording.
It is similar but not the same
