This is very much Mount Rainier as I was north of it in Greenwater. I've also summited this mountain so I'm quite familiar with it 😉 👍 Thanks for watching!
@@ConquestOverland Coolbeans... looks like Adam's from those shots. I've submitted Rainier also with RMI back in the late 90's... Congratulations on your summit mate! @@ConquestOverland i need to find it lol. I also stumbled across one of your videos with Eric (@evergreen_rnr)! I’ve known him for about 10yrs! Love watching your videos! I’m very new to Overlanding but definitely looking forward to exploring and getting out there. Keep up the great videos!
I went there when snow first started a month ago. There was a lot of trees knocked down and icy roads on the drive up. The views made the icy switchbacks worth it.
The roads heading up that way can certainly get a little dicey this time of year, but good on ya for making up out there. Such a beautiful area year-round!
I was up there around same time lots of snow still around lonesome lake. I couldn’t get to the spot I wanted so ended up going to Naches. I might have a picture and video of that same bear
Right on! Crazy how the snow is still a factor this far into the year though we had a very unique winter. Glad you to hear you got out there and tested out the trails 👍
Very cool spot.. remember driving through last year and made a note to stay.. but the mosquitos killed us ..I love your setup. How small does the awning room fold up?
Yeah, I still ended up with a few bites when setting up and tearing down the awning room. Gotta love summer camping! 😆 The room itself packs down to about a large gym bag and I've been able to stuff it inside a 55L duffel. 👍
@@ConquestOverland I'd highly recommend the Radius or now the EX90. The best part about them is they charge via USB and don't use a flame so they're much safer for a tent, etc. They also use little cartridges that last forever (like 40 hours) and are easy to reseal & store without drying out/evaporating. I like them in combination with a portable, like the MR300 or MR450 to use when leaving the zone. We spread out & use a radius at the kitchen, the tent and the table. When I had 2 I used one to set up the tent & drive the mosquitos out & then sealed the tent. They also work GREAT when we use our Gazelle Gazebo with a table inside.
Awesome videos, I recently discovered your Chanel. I’m local to you and you got me thinking about exploring my surroundings a little more. I was wondering if you happen to have your route saved if you are willing to share it. I’d like to try some of the trails you have shared but have a stock 2020 trd off-road Tacoma and am wondering if it can do the job. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks a lot and really dig your content
I love that spot. Most don’t bother turning off the main FS and miss it, which is great for us that like to check all the side trails. That’s kind of a go to spot for me among several others in that vicinity.
Is this on the route going from FS-75 to FS-73? I drove up some side trails two weeks ago, but snow stopped me from going to a spot with a view of rainier.
@@ConquestOverland Try and get the angle to the side as much as possible. It will show the angle, though you will lose the depth of the road and its bumps.

Sorry if this question has been asked but I am new to Washington USA from Italy and just purchased a Jeep. How do you find all of the trails in your videos? Is it special permissions? Thank you 🙏
I use a mix of Gaia GPS, Google Earth, TrailOffroad, and a little luck 😉 Congrats on the new Jeep and welcome to the Pacific Northwest, lots of opportunities for exploring!
Cool vid man, been following for a while your subs are way up since then. Gas is killing me by making my summer trips turn into $300 of gas of I want a full tank there and back and for the rest of the week haha
Great video. I was just out there this last weekend. Extra cool watching your videos when I've been to those places. You do such a great job filming and capturing the beauty on camera and doing it justice.
Stunning for sure, was that on the northeast side? When you make those river crossings do you wade through the water first to check the depth or do you just charge it?
For all water crossing I usually get out and check the depth with a stick or something. If it's truly questionable I'll walk it though most of the times the crossings are not that deep to worry about 👍
Nice , did you have those inch long flying ants where you were at ? I had them down at the Lower Falls campground on the Lewis river like mad . They don't bite or anything but there was a lot of them , some kids camped across the road from me said they didn't like the dragon fly's , I didn't have the heart to tell them they were ants . LOL
