While I have the Triton Le, this was still so very useful and, for people who take the time you have here, I'm sure many like me, are very grateful. Cheers.
So, the problem is probably that the secondary sound's upper or lower limits must be overlapping. I suggest to go to the KEYZ (Key Zone, high and low) hold the ENTER button while playing the key that you want the limit to be at. Sorry I hope that helps. Sorry for the delay too.
Gracias or el apoyo!
Hi and thank you. Would you know how I can reset all the sounds in my korg tritan studio. They are there but seem to be way in backround . Like the drums patterns
If you want to factory reset your Triton, you have to have the the original PGC file and dump it via a floppy disk OR you have to transmit the SysEx from an identical unit to send over all of the programming data. Hope this helps
On program mode, b084 drum n bass, when selecting B under realtime controls and turning knob 2 far left, it will cut the samples to a short punchy setting. When turning the same knob to far right, I get a prolong sound of the samples. it's Like S vs SSSSS. if I select b084 dnb on sequencer however, knob b 2 doesn't seem to do anything it. How can I make the drums on sequencer short in punchy by a turn of a knob like how I can on the program mode? (Edited) I found it it's under controls on the menu screen. Great job bro 👍🏿
The reason that it doesn't work when you go into sequencer mode could be a couple of different things. First off to the left of the Realtime Control Knobs there is a button that allows you to use the knobs as LPF Cutoff, Resonance/HPF, EG Intensity, and EG Release. However, that button to the left can also allow the knobs to be used in a custom setup. You can assign the knobs via MIDI to customize your experience. When you are in Sequencer Mode, (I believe) the Realtime Controls are set to default as the MIDI customizing or "Assignable 1, 2, 3, 4." The problem is that if nothing is assigned to the Knobs, nothing will happen. I don't remember if there is a way to copy the knob commands directly from the Program that you are using but either you can set it up manually or you can just set the button on the left to use the LPF, Resonance, EG, etc... Hope that helps!
You'll have to go to KORG's website or search the intent for the original .PCG files for the Triton to load the factory data. Then the tricky part is that you either need to get it on a floppy or do a SysEx MIDI dump into the Triton.
Sorry for the late reply, but my workaround for the Triton is that I save all of my sounds 10 in a row (For example: A001, A002, ... A010) and then I hit the "Hold 10" button on the Number Key pad. By enabling that feature you can hit a single button and it will take you to the matching that number value within that set of 10. so If I'm on A002 and I want to get to A007, I just press 7. There are times where I have a patch set up but I need a secondary one what has that PLUS something different, I just save the original patch and the copy to a different number within that set of 10 sounds and just switch between the original and copy(copies). Thanks again for watching.
How can I have a different eq setting for each individual track? I know how to change the pitch, vol and pan of each track, but how do I put a separate eq on each track?
The Triton series does not have a native EQ for each timber BUT you can use the EQ Insert FX. The problem is that it eats up one of the available IFX slots. The plus side is that you can group certain sounds to one IFX and you can EQ them together. On newer Korg devices, they have nave EQs on each timber and audio channel (specifically, the Kronos). Hope that helps.
on the sequence section, using drums A004, how do I have one of the kick drum only on all the keys?. i want all keys playing the same kick. thanks bud.
If you are asking on how to make the kick be on every key, you would have to actually make your own drum kit in the Global settings and map the same sample across the region that you want. The other way would be to use the sampler to create your own multisample (MS) and just use one sample across the specific region. This method allows you to pitch the sound of the drum so you would be able to play melodies with the kick. I'm sure there is also a feature that allows you to make it one constant pitch so each key is the same exact sample and pitch. Hope this helps.
Hi there great vid...I don't know I may have missed it but can you do a vid on the step by step process of saving a combination to a specified bank? thank you
How can i save sounds to "hotkeys"? So lets say i want to quickly change to and from brass/strings/organ/synth/flute on the triton Acoustic piano and rhodes will be played on a lower keyboard.
I would recommend saving all of your sounds to a category and and just navigate on the screen. Almost like a favorites list. Also, I know that Triton Le has a "Hold 10" function that allows you to navigate 10 sounds at one touch of a button. For example... if you save all of your favorite Combi's from 20-29... you can key from the numeric keypad. 0 would get you (in this case) 20, 7 would get you 27... hope this makes sense.
@@pogus49455 i sort of did a workaround. Pick a patch then select write program and select a slot in bank A to save it to. There are 4 banks A-D and each bank has 10 pages (20 slots on each page lol). So essentially i have 20 favourites on one screen. I dont need more than 20 sounds I just select them from the touch screen
hi. when I load song from media, I hit sequence. on the song I go to IFX and the C064 L/R S1:001 S2:001 have been changed. I've saved them to S1:043, but when I load song, it resets back to 001. how can the effects settings save along with song when I save? also how do I creat a new song? thanks bud!
my question for anyone that can help. how can i take a drum note such as a kick from the drums section and assign it to multiple keys on the triton with different pitches? like i can put one note on my mpc pads and each pad has the same sound but different pitch can i do this one a korg triton? if so how so?
Sorry for the year long reply. So it should be as simple as sampling the one note and spread it across the notes. Look up tutorials on how to sample on Tritons. But... I know the Korg Triton library of sounds has (obviously) drum sounds but I'm not entirely sure if you can single out (for example, the kick drum) and spread it out on all the keys because it is part of a drum multisample. Sorry I took so long and sorry if this wasn't any help.
Envolopes! can i set the decay to, lets say 4 just for a setting), on a track without it reseting back to 0? im thinking of getting the kronos, mainly because it have seperate eq on each track
I'm sorry I didn't realize you said "Krome" that I'm not sure because I've never used it. Korg tends to have similar sounds from one another, so you might be able to find something.
One important question. Is there a possibility that the system files (pcg, combi, sequencer / song / and pcg with samples) that I made on my Korg Triton Classic, will be originally loaded into Korg Triton Extreme ???
Dear Sir , being owner and user , so to say , of korg trinity; I have issues with floppy disk no bootin procedure ; tried a new floppy disk driver installation ; read what it contains but no boot procedure once again ; need a new floppy disk ? or what ? Asking Your esteemable experience , Best Regards
I'm having I bit of a hard time understanding the issue. What is a "bootin?" Perhaps the floppy disks are corrupt. This tends to happen since the media is on a magnetic disk. They tend to deteriorate over time. Some preventive measures that I've taken is that I backed up my old floppies to my computer, to archive them. And then I bought a USB floppy emulator. This takes a thumb drive and divides it into 1.4 MB partitions, allowing for several "floppies" to be on one thumbdrive. The issue is that it transfers at speeds as slow as traditional floppies so... it's convenient because it's less likely that the data gets corrupted, but as slow as you're used to.
Thank You for Your kind answer: now I could evaluate either to buy what You are esteemably suggesting or leave everything as is ... or , perhaps , search a method to recover the floppy disk , although demagnetized ?

Each keyboard has different parameters but usually in increments of 8. Combi and Seq mode. Kronos is up to 16, I believe.
