  • We did our first van tour video only 3 months into van life. Now we're at 2-1/2 years of van life, and a lot has changed inside our van in that time. We think we're finally at a place where we can say our van RIGBY is finished and we can show you what it's like on the inside.
    Throughout the video we will add links to various other videos showing how we did specific projects, or you can see links to those here in this description.
    We've also linked to some of the products we used in this build and that we continue to use in van life.
    If you have any questions or comments, please let us know! We'd love to share more if you're interested.
    Thanks so much for watching. Please LIKE and Subscribe, it really helps us out!

    Tim, I love how you incorporated the Garage while allowing sufficient space for Shannon's stunning Kitchen. The overall layout is impressive and well thought out.❤

    I love the relaxing pace of your videos. I also really like the open cabinets and cloth bins which are so easy to access and keep tidy.

      Thank you again, and yes those cloth bins are one of our favorite choices we’ve made for this van build.

    Love your conversion. It is really very practical, no fancy “only-for-instagram” nonsenses. And a lot of small, but great ideas that make your live easier. 👍

      Thanks Petr! Yes it is definitely a “no frills” build and very comfortable for us and it just works. Thanks for the comment!

    I like d open style overhead storage space than having cabinets. The cloth cubes are lightweight but keeps stuff organized.

      Hi Dancer, sorry to be so late replying - this comment slipped right under the radar. Here is how we attached that: DIY Awning for a Camper Van

    Great van build and video. Love your idea of adding pipe insulation to the overhead cabin storage. We were hesitant to add any extra storage area there because of the likelihood that we would bang our foreheads against it. Also really like the idea of the sliding door stop. Was this something you fabricated yourselves?

      Lol oh good! There’s also a video linked in the description for the headliner shelf. Both of those items are from VANcillary but I modified the shelf a bit. Thanks for the comment!

    how fast do u go thru your water. we do have a flush toilet and between that and making coffee and yeah doing dishes. we do go thru lots of water. we have a 25 gal tank

    • @TimAndShannonLTD
      @TimAndShannonLTD  Рік тому

      Hi Elaine - yeah if we were to do it all over again, we would figure out how to get a larger water tank in here. But we make it work. If we are near readily available water, like when at a working gig for a while, we probably refill every 3 or 4 days (that's when we're not being super careful about our water use). But if we go off-grid for a while, we are much more careful with how much we use and we can sometimes squeak about 6 days out of it. Maybe a week. In those situations, we also have a 5 gallon fresh water jug as a spare and we've dipped into that quite a few times. Wow, with a flush toilet, I can imagine your 25 gallons don't last long at all!
