That Bruins team in 2019 was so good, honestly I think they had a better team than the Blues, the blues just found a way to win 4 before the Bruins could. That run really was something for Boston they seemed nearly unstoppable for a while
Agreed. Playoff puck luck and appalling officiating dictated that series with the Blues though.

Honestly , we should’ve won that year . And it’s funny how the Blues Headcoach complained about the officiating and after he did the refs favored the blues . They got away with so much during that series and to me the officiating has been horrible for a long time it wasn’t just that series . There was other bad series calls too . But the NHL need to start holding Refs accountable for bad calls ...
That was one special run, the good thing is, is that I feel another one coming on here, specially with the garden going full soon. Lets get that cup now

Game 5 of that series vs the blues forever tainted that series to me so many blatantly missed calls from the refs

Yeah I feel the same. Coach calls out the refs for calling to many penalties against them giving the bruins pp goals and then suddenly they can do no wrong.
The first round against Toronto in the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs gave me goosebumps; because after missing the playoffs two years in a row, followed by a mediocre exit in the first round against Ottawa, the Bruins proved that they were back, and dangerous yet again in 2018.
Game 1 against Tampa in the 2nd was such a tease
